So you want to replace tinubu with agbaje's master rigger, financial backer and ex-convict bode george and his gang of thugs and robbers. Your eyes are open, but u cant see. Ignorance and tribalism na disease.
Who's more rigging machine than Tinubu?
Who's convicted by competent institutions more than Tinubu?...Gani Fawehimi was his nemesis...
What makes Bode George an ex-convict or are you just daft?
Who breeds touts and runs a mafia more than the tout lord; Jagaban himself?...tout master tinubu...
Who values human life as less as Tinubu?...
Define ignorance if not you...
Where's tribalism if not as embodied by you...

Well, it all depends on you and what you feel tho. As for me, I don't believe in arrangee stuff. Mind you, it lasted in those days because of our strict adherence to cultural practices which ensures the woman is completely submissive to her husband and makes a huge abomination out of extramarital affairs on the part of the female folks.

Imaging people being so free back then how they are today, the marriage crashes would have been terribly alarming.

When bringing the past in comparison with the present, be sure to note that conditions of today are completely different from that of the past.
Sure, you have great points here...maybe I will have to do a rethink, replan, and then seemingly redo myself...hehehe

You have to man up bro.. Arrangee marriages/relationships don't end up well or last long..
I don't believe you because I know that all the folks whose marriages are crashing today made those choices themselves... but arrangee style which our ancestors used kept them with their wives till death...

So it is more of how you build and manage your home...whether you made the choice or they did on your behalf...

adaweezy:
Tinubu, Ambode and Jimi Agbaje

The dominant rooster in a peep of chickens does not want a younger cock to crow. Àkùko nlá kò fé kí kékeké ko. That defines the hatred of the Afenifere for Tinubu. Tinubu's only offense is taking political leadership of the Yorubas. The leadership was there for the taking after Pa Adesanya's death but they were more interested in the politics of their stomach. Tinubu rose to the occasion and became unstoppable. Then the gnawing envy began. I don't care what anybody says, Tinubu is our leader warts and all. Nígbàtí ikú npa ni k'ílòrìsà nwò? When Obasanjo wanted to override Yoruba land where were they?

Tinubu gave us Fashola who redefined governance in our rudderless space. Now we have Ambode, a seasoned civil servant with sterling credentials. I have campaigned for Ambode and did not campaign against Jimi Agbaje until now. His politics has polarized Lagos sharply and I must campaign against him openly. We know nothing about Jimi Agbaje other than him owning a pharmacy and belonging to Afenifere renewal group. Whatever integrity Jimi Agbaje has is contrived and farcical. In the words of a trusted friend "Jimi does not show up". He is a fence sitter. He wants people to think he is with them but he is never there when it counts. He does not show up when it is time to be seen. Jimi does not take a position, he takes positions. Jimi runs with the hares and hunts with the hounds. Jimi is not the kind of leader we want. President Goodluck Jonathan open the Naira/dollar spigot for Jimi to capture Lagos seen as the crown jewel of Yorubaland. Oh well, what Obasanjo couldn't not do, Jonathan can never aspire to.

Every Nigerian is entitled to aspire to public office and that is incontestable. The problem with Jimi is that his ambition to be the governor of Lagos state is overarching. It is an at all costs and everything be damned ambition. He initially mulled running under the labor party. Then the PDP recruited him. Where is principle? He claimed to be progressively minded, what changed? We know what changed. It is ambition, naked ambition. Jimi at the sight of money went to town. The elite embraced him because he is one of them. He moved on to slash and burn politics believing nothing is too sacred to be sacrificed for his ambition. Why are we seeing ethnic politics and Yoruba/Igbo divisions at this time? That is Jimi Agbaje kind of politics. We don't tolerate Jimi Agbaje's kind of politics in Yorubaland. By the close of polls on Saturday, he will find out.

Ambode's win is a given come Saturday. PDP as is presently constituted have no stake in Lagos. Actually they are an aberration in Yorubaland. We will not stop until the lepers of the Southwest - Mimiko and Fayose are routed. The leaders we need in Yorubaland are those who respect our cultures and traditions. Those who want development as laid down by Chief. Obafemi Awolowo and will work for it. These are the kind of leaders we want to represent us at federal level. We want our leaders to be exemplars for Yorubas and all Nigerians. Vote Akinwumi Ambode as governor of Lagos state. Jimi will be fine with the money he has collected from Jonathan. JK is not good for Lagos. JK is not OK
Rants by a bigot...

Muhahahahaha, ohu ojii

I'm giving him a system/prescription/style that worked for me back then na.. In those days (2010) when I used to be kinda shy in person, I tried talking dirty and in some few cases, I insulted a few of them girls on 2go. One of the girls I was talking dirty with visited me and we realised there wasn't much to discuss, so I went on to hit my nail on her head.. grin

Nevertheless, there were some of them I didn't talk dirty with because I observed them and realised they weren't that kinda girl. The drill is, take your chances, if it backfires, you beat your chest and tell yourself kudos, knowing fully well you put in your best but failed. Sometimes when I stepped on toes, I apologised and life goes on.

Mind you, the insult I gave to a few girls then was to help me get bold at relating with or scolding at a girl. Although I stopped that sometimes ago and in reality, I've never insulted a lady/girl/woman. grin smiley
make una tone nam down biko...

Mehn this your prescription go hard...
I can only try it on a faceless forum but not in real life bikokwa...

Aside the excessive audacity which breeds arrogance and pride with Igbos, This is the part i like about Igbos...Everything is business...let truth be told. Igbos are way ahead in business in Nigeria. I entered Ladipo market one day and couldnt find one shop owned by a Yoruba man in the two hours i spent there. I think business is genetic for them.
Throw them into the Lagoon and see the potentials of that water developed by them.
I am not comfortable with your generalization about arrogance and pride because I can also trace it to inferiority complex of your folks...Why feel threatened by othershuh...Why not do your thing and grow alongside others?...I believe US should have ostracized Obama going by your reasoning and stance...

Do you also care to know that part of the problem why ladipo traders want APC out is because APC imposed Yoruba leaders on a market where Igbo are...Is it right to youhuh

** You want to remove Lekki Toll Gate, Yet Airport
Toll Gate own By FG Is milking Lagosians Dry.
** You promised 150,000 housing units, yet Jonathan
could only build 30,000(at a cost of 2million = N3
Trillion Naira. Where u wan see the money @N467
billion Lagos yearly budget).
** You Promised to reduce tax, Yet Jonathan set up
tax review which suggested increase in taxes
(Moreover, Jaykay Pharmacy pay tax ni?)
** You want to abolish Lastma, Kai, Lamata etc, Yet
Ferma, Sure-P, etc held sway in your party.
** You want to pay Lagos Worker Minimum wage, as
"Governor to be" did you ask the workers if they are
not already enjoying N18,760.00 In Lagos.
** You said you will stop the Public Private Partnership used to build the Ikoyi Link Road, where will you raise 29Billion to make repayment. Moreover, your PDP Federal Government signed PPP
agreement to build 2nd Niger bridge for N129 Billion.
Jimi Agbaje, why are you promising what you know you cannot reverse to win cheap votes?
Jimi Agbaje, what do you really have for Lagosians?
Jimi Agbaje, Why are you pitting Igbos against Lagosians?[/b]
Hypocrisy is when you say you want Jonathan out because he's corrupt but you want APC via Tinubu to retain Lagos in his pocket...

You say Agbaje promises are unrealistic but APC via buhari promises are...

You say you need change in central government but not in grassroot government...

You are either confused or a biased bigot...

How did Agbaje pit Igbo against Yoruba?

Hmmm, we're together in this one bro.. But, I believe shyness is something one can get over. I'll advise you to get too close to ladies and then chat naughty or talk dirty with them, but make sure they are comfortable with that tho. Sometimes when you're with a lady and you lack words, just think up something, there are really many things to discuss you know. You can also include a third party when necessary.
Hehehehehe...Save me God...Truth is when I wanted to comment on this thread; I was afraid if softsparky and francizy were viewing...So I did little reconnaissance by checking the viewers chart and when I didn't see them; I went ahead to comment and now they just caught me...

Anyway, thanks for your advice but sincerely, talking dirty or naughty may not be the solution because the words may come out wrongly and you see yourself in a bigger mess...You can't really tell if she will tolerate you going that lane...Once I try and I am cautioned; be sure that shame won't allow me come close again...

Mehn, I have tried several techniques and they aren't working...I felt like crying the day one of stuupiiiddd friends called me to say that he's tired of one of her babes and wants to dash me because she has always liked me even as they were dating...Imagine insult because I am shy to go out and dig babes out....I just gave the guy the warning of his life there and then...how's life mehn?
