eddie7:Amen! You're praying for me specifically. God bless you. |
bibinwaka:Congratulations to you! More winnings, how can I get your contact please? I need to know what it took you to be shortlisted. |
Nice one Tony. Keep empowering African youths. We won't carry last in this world. I'm sure gonna be listed next year. TEEF all the way! |
In a country where we are still promised basic amenities every 4years, what do you expect? There are places in Lagos where they don't experience power outage from year to year and you see lots of foreigners living there, I came to the conclusion that there's something not OK with the black man. The blood of these innocent children is on the head of every leader that has ever promised us steady power supply. RIP to these lovely destinies cut short. |
The drama in Aso Villa will always persist. The VP has refused to accept the fact he's just an errand boy and has no power whatsoever to decide what happens or doesn't. He is a misfit as far as the cabal is concerned. |
Spar7tan:Read the post before you comment please. |

The government is not interested in providing proper health care for the people. Even on Nairaland, nobody is interested. See the little comment this post is getting. What a world.

Since 1999 that I started following Nigerian politics, the quest for power has left more than 50% of our so-called leaders with blood on thier hands, directly or indirectly. I ask myself again, to what end? They say democracy and indeed leadership is "service to the people", how can we now come to the conclusion that truly, service requires taking a fellow servants life. Just imagine, I want to serve, you want to serve too, I now have to remove you from the face of the earth, just because I want to "SERVE". Haba mana. I keep saying this, until we make political offices in Nigeria less attractive and less lucrative, blood will always flow. The average Nigerian politician sees power as a tool for oppression, manipulation, enrichment etc, hence the tendency to seek for it for what he sees it as. Haven't we wondered why we keep voting for these selfish and dark minds for true national growth, yet, the reverse is the case. This horrible mentality of power at all cost has to be erased and a new, positive mindset embraced, if not, the violence and bloodshed witnessed this last election will be like a romantic movie compared to 2023. Let's grow up Nigeria. We're our own natural disaster.

Actuarydeji:You just echoed my sentiments. I sabi cram no mean say you go dey productive for the real game. |
Develop meaningful skills to help shape your life and society. If you have 5.0 CGPA and you don't have applicable skills, you're not better than a student that graduated with a Pass. This is Nigeria. |
The same day scores of Christians were butchered in the same Kaduna State, the government never uttered a single statement condemning the killing, rather, they are celebrating something other less developed nations in Africa celebrated donkey years ago. Shame on these lots. |
Keeping all of the missing money would have been the best idea to many Nigerians but she thought otherwise. Lot's of people must have called her bad names and even called her assistant to everlasting poverty, but I believe good name is better than riches. I was in a similar position as hers almost 3yrs ago and lots of people made me feel like honesty is now obsolete in Nigeria. Truth is I'm 10times better than then, more financially stable than any other time in my life. I thank God for the peace she'll forever enjoy, like I'm enjoying right now. Honesty still remains the best policy. |
Zidane Nooooooo!!! Lightening ain't striking at the same place twice. I understand you love Madrid and the Fans. Moving to Juventus would have been the best option. Go to Turin and win them the Champions league and then maybe consider returning to LaLiga. It may not work out as in your first reign. The heavy politicking at Real Madrid and thier fans' insatiable appetite for trophies may be your downfall. All the best to my greatest soccer Legend. |

PSG will always be classified as "also rans". Neymar, very talented but not focused. His theatrics and showboating will eventually make him to be like PSG. He thinks there's time. Ask Balotelli and Adriano Leite. |
That wasn't a penalty in 100years. The ball hit his body before it got to his elbow. PSG were robbed. |

Believe this crap at your peril. Politics being played on the people. Nigeria shall rise again. Maybe not as an entity tagged "six geopolitical zones". |
I strongly believe that the fight for 3rd and 4th position in the EPL will go down to the end of season. Iwobi, the battle is far from lost. Arsenal Man. Utd. Spurs Chelsea It's Battle Royale at the topmost top. Liverpool City Blues Every match leading to the 38th Match is more like a Penalty Shoot-out! Arsenal 4 Ever! COYG!!!

My brother, this is where we found ourselves as a nation. The same circle repeating itself. We hope to see a genuine change in our generation. The system of the world is changing rapidly, it's taking a downward spiral. I vow to be the Change the world is looking for. If only as individuals, we take a personal stand against societal ills, the world will be a better place. It begins with you, it begins with me. dataking: |
It's always darkest before dawn. God no dey sleep. |
God please open the eyes of our youths to see beyond their present situation and take a long look into their bright future. You can't go wrong if you start little and painstakingly develop into that person you've always desired to be. I used to think illiteracy and ignorance was an excuse until I discovered, both the illiterate and the ignorant can seek knowledge and understanding and truly find it. There's no excuse for mediocrity. We can rise above it. |
