Basically, are there domains strictly reserved for science? Are there those reserved for religion only? For instance, if creationism is popular in a society but frowned upon by the minority scientific community, do creationism's adherents have the right to interfere and insist it be taught? That's not a particularly good example, but atm my brain is on holiday.

I would just like to add that about the manmonkey, or manbearcub issue, for those who have zero imagination, if you held the hand of one of your parents and said parent held the hand of one of his/her parents and so on and go back millions of ancestors (if they're that many), you'll never come across a situation where you meet one ancestor who's immediate parent was of a different species. If you did jump from one ancestor to the other, skipping sometimes just a few thousand ancestors in between, you may (very likely in the cases where you skip hundreds of thousands of ancestors) find that parent and ancestor are different species, sometimes radically different.

In short, it's a gradual process that requires a lot of time, except maybe in microbiology.

What do you mean? Overall capacity of hell stays the same, but they keep throwing in more and more souls in there (every single person that dies if the abrahamics had their way), thus increasing energy, pressure and by extension heat. Unless I'm missing something like maybe entropy
