LosC1: The Supreme Court on Tuesday reserved its ruling on the All Progressives Congress’ application for the review of its judgment which nullified the party’s victories in the general elections held in 2019 in Zamfara State.
A five-man panel of the apex court led by the Chief Justice of Nigeria, Justice Tanko Muhammad, said the date of the ruling would be communicated to the parties. The CJN made the announcement after the parties to the case concluded their submissions on the application on Tuesday.

David Lyon and Degi were both sacked a day to their inauguration by the Apex Court as governor and deputy governor respectively over certificate forgery by the Senator.
A member of the Group, Dr. John Idumange who made this known via a post on the Group’s Facebook Page, called on the Senator to resign.

The President does not have a history of intervening in the affairs of any state in the country, unless the issue at hand is of national consequence. On such matters which impinge on national security, he has a duty of involvement as the law stipulates.

Kazeem1222: Suspected kidnappers on Monday night abducted four Rufus Giwa Polytechnic graduates on their way to Zamfara State for the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) Orientation Camp, it was learnt on Tuesday.
The victims made up of three male and a female were kidnapped around Funtua in Katsina State at about 11:30pm by armed men who laid a siege to the road. As a result of this action, security officials renewed their advice to commuters to avoid night travels especially in areas where there are security threats.
