Lagos was the capital of Nigeria from 1914 to 1990. It took the efforts of British government and Nigeria commonwealth for Lagos to attain what it is today. The oldest known city in Southwest is Oyo. So why did tye efforts of Yorubas not transform Oyo to ur claim. This claims are just to petty and cheap in all honesty. It is like the indigenous Abuja or North Central claiming it was their efforts that made Abuja what it is in the nearest future if the capital is to be shifted again from Abuja.
