The academic activities of Federal university oye ekiti has brr been grounded indefinitely as a result of a serious fight involving the students and Indigens.

As reported: Trouble started when a fresh student was over charged by a bike man. The bike man demanded for 200 naira against normal 50 naira fee, the Sug vice president happened to be around the scene and intervened in the matter

The bike man as reported used Jas (voodoo or africa magic) to hit him and he collapsed. students around the scene started the fight and it escalated to indigens against students fight.

As of now many students has been injured, stabbed and one female student killed inside her lodge. The town of oye is upside down as students are on rampage burning and pulling down structures.

Sadly, cultists has taken up the Opportunity to cause harvoc.

It is a totally misguided disposition to berate someone that follows whatever principle that works for him/her. My tithing is a personal thing before God. If anyone sees no reason to tithe, I have absolutely no objection to that. Refusal to tithe won't deny you heaven or even a good life.
When I wasn't tithing, I couldn't afford to rent just one room in Ajegunle even when I was working. I moved close to my father and I learnt some life changing principles. Tithing is one of the easiest ways to tap into the divine blessings and wealth prepared for me. Some people sacrificed life, children, wives, health and happiness for material wealth. 10% of my take home pay isn't even enough for his goodness towards me. Since my personal decision to tithe, in just a few years, I now live in my own house. My younger ones and my mother live in the same compound but different apartment. I am not rich yet but I can even afford a small car if I wanted to get one right now. All these in spite of my small salary and still doing the same job. My 3 bosses ahead of me left one after the other due to "nothing is coming in" it is in the same nothing is coming in that I was blessed after I made that personal decision to tithe. I am not 100% faithful in that regard but he has been more faithful to me.

See how delussioned you have become. Sorry I don't pay tithe and I can pay you for the next 20years without breaking a sweat.

Why shouldn't anyone quote you? You made a submission that I totally agree with. Personally I tithe because I believe in it to attract blessings to me. Those that don't believe in tithing, I have no words of discouragement for them. We are in the dispensation of grace and this issue of tithe isn't something that is set in stone in this dispensation of grace that supersedes the law.

The reason why some christians defend the doctrine of tithing is simply because they don't believe in eternal salvation or they are sincerely ignorant of what Christ really did.

You made alot of sense. But I must correct you that the scripture that said Give and it shall be given unto u....wasn't talking about financial giving but rather Judgement. Read the preceeding text. Read in context.

It could be livestock and foodstuffs or money.
You are free to give whichever applies to you. Or even use ur tithe to buy commodities to give to the church just as u can sell ur commodity and give money. None is set in stone.

It might be a problem related/connected to the Median nerve thus making the middle finger to be flexed.

Anyway, there's no much cause for alarm. Just head to a specialist medical centre that has a hand surgeon/doctor and a pediatrician also. Both experts will need to be consulted.

I understand birth via CS has very few/negligible complications so relax.

Was the delivery a difficult one? What was the birth weight?
Was the child delivered using forceps?

Good evening,

Please my elder sister gave birth to a bouncing baby boy couple of weeks ago. But we discovered that the middle finger of the baby is folded in both hands... Other fingers can be straightend but those two can't.

Please has someone seen or head of such before and what measures was taken to correct it.

medics in the House or anyone who has any crew please help my sister is losing sleep over this.

For me I feel the kid will outgrow it with time but lime the saying. ... "a problem shared is a problem solved"

mine is still fresh like today's bread in my mind.

I had a crush on a girl back then in Jss2 and her best friend who also doubles as her seat mate has a crush on me.

I started by writing piece of paper and sending the mail via my pen cap which she replies and sends back the same way.

We later graduated to using notebook as our medium of sending the later. I would borrow her integrated science note book and returns it the following day with the later in the middle of the loafs.

The bubble busted when she mistakenly borrowed her best friend the note with my letter inside. The most funny part of it was that I mentioned in the letter that I know her friend likes me but I hate her and can't have anything to do with her....

So you can imagine the whole drama I had to deal with. I was punished severely by my vice principal who used to use me as a good example. The babe denied me oooooo. I faced the shame alone. lol

Now we grown ups now. We ran into each other sometime last year and we had a good laugh about it.

Nothing is wrong supporting bus evangelists especially one who has a message . I did support them in my days of jumping buses . The principle was we are all supposed to do this and if I'm found wanting not preaching at least I should support those who devote their lives to it. But sad to say that it is been abused today . But tha still doesn't take away the reality of genuine ministers

Evangelising the evangelist

It was really a very funny situation my memorable trip from Ikeja to Mile 2 on public transport. I will try as much as possible to make the story very short perhaps i fail in achieving that, please read it to the end....

I had just finished a business meeting with a client and trust me used the slightest opportunity to market the best product (Jesus)

I decided to take a bus home since i wasn't in a hurry. It wasn't up to 5mins the bus took off, a well dressed gentleman, probably within 35-45 years stood up and said praise the Lord... The response he got would make a new pastor doubt his calling.... Lol
I didn't even respond because the praise the Lord came unexpectedly...

The man introduced himself as evangelist xyz and went on to "preach" you noticed i used the quotation mark for the word Preach...?

After like 30minutes of sharing all the notable miracles of Jesus he went to his second gospel which to me was the first for him you will find out why i said so soon.

He shared tracts and encouraged everyone to support the gospel either by preaching it or supporting the preachers. He went on to tell the passengers how much he spends daily entering buses and sharing the gospel i was really touched by that line. Sincerely i was touched to the point that i said to myself i will surprise this man... I was discussing with my spirit man trying to convince him to allow us give the man 10k at least that will go a long way in helping his evangelism and support his family but i decided i will give him the money when we get down to our destination and also encourage him with words.

The evangelist continued preaching his second sermon (support the preacher) but the passengers were more interested in reminding the conductor of their change and the bus-stop they are alligting. The sad news was that despite all the preaching... From pleadings.... ( Pls support the preacher to continue spreading the gospel ) to Threat's (some of you will be complaining that things are tight but you are the cause of your problems... When you tight your hands things will be tight ) at this point i was already feeling bad and sad for this evangelist... His eyes were almost red... I felt enamorse pity for him. I was still wondering why nobody in the whole bus gave this evangelist money then i remembered that the economic state of the nation is not smilling....

I was still in my small wonderland when i noticed a man leaned towards the evangelist and was speaking in a low voice to him. I was happy within me, finally God has touched someone heart to support the evangelist...

The conversation between the evangelist and the co passenger was taking time so i decided to switch on my ear wifi so i could hear what they were discussing...

Hmmmmmmmm
Thier conversation is the reason am writing this....

This is the dialogue between them
(From where i started listening)

Passenger: Just go home and study this pamphlet very well then call this number... The one written with pen

Evangelist: thank you my brother i will call

Passenger: i have only been with this company marketing their products... My brother i must tell you the truth e pay me well

Evangelist: like how much you dey make per month

Passenger: its not salary based and that is one thing i like about the company... You just register with small money, some products will be given to you and all you need to do is refer people to register.... All the information is on that paper. You can make as much as you want depending on your networking strength

(It was just then i understand the business was Trevo or is it GNLD am not too sure but its either of the two)

Evangelist: so like how much do i need to start with and is it possible they give me to sell and pay back later. My brother i dey suffer no be small. This evangelizing thing is not easy sebi u can bear me witness now. Sometimes i fit stay for 2days no support .....

At this juncture i disconnected my wifi.....

Very displeased in my heart.

So the evangelist has been evangelised...

Many questions was going on in my mind ...

This evangelist is he truely an evangelist or its just a means of survival?

Was he even called?

If yes what happened to his call and convictions?

Is frustration a sign of God's call?

I have seen many pastors and evangelist who ceases every oppurtnity to tell you of how God frustrated all thier businesses until they answered the call.....

Some will say they travelled out and was deported.... My dear if you were deported please check with the immigration and find out why you were deported God is not an immigration officer... If you failed in business severally my dear alot of things could be responsible.... Have you considered reading books on business managenent and prudence?

(Jonah is always an escape example they usually give... I usually smile because the story of Jonah is beyond evangelism)

Nothing is wrong with doing a circular job and also doing the kingdom business.... Paul the apostle was a Tent maker... Peter was a respected Fisherman... But priority is the key... Noticed how Apostle Paul introduces himself.... I, an apostle of our Lord Jesus Christ..... I make tents...

To my fellow young ministers.... Whatsoever your hand findeth to do... Do it with all your might.

All the 12 deciples of Christ were all busy with something before Jesus called them.... Lets get busy productively.

We sing the praises of great men of God today like Bishop Oyedepo.. Daddy Adeboye etc. We celebrate their glory without learning from. thier story...

I recently discussed with two ladies in their mid twenties and they were of the opinion that 70% of ladies nowadays marry because they are tired of attending friends wedding while others because of parental and societal pressures.

Please what do you think.....
