Your conduct may be unprofessional but his reaction is far from unprofessional and now an infringement on your right as a citizen.

You either do anything in your power to sue him or leave the company. If you stay, one thing is certain, you'll never get that respect back. Another day will surely come, trust me.
He might even r@pe you one day and you'll do nothing about it! You'll get weaker and weaker until the abuse will finally become a norm. And you'll hate yourself.

I work for someone who pays me well enough to buy my basic needs, as arrogant as he can be at times, I make sure I set my boundaries with him.

Anybody who can hit an adult for any reason except in self defense should be avoided at all cost.

My MD can talk to me anyhow ..even in the talk there is limitations on what he can talk not to even slap me...if he does that ..he has signed his warrant

My name is Sewa, I work in an hotel at Iyana Ipaja as a bar supervisor. Am a graduate of Lapostech (HND). I work 24 hours because of the nature of my job and its a day off and on, meanwhile mine has been 3 days on and one day off because I make more money than others. Before I got to this hotel as a staff, they make lesser than I make now. Per day, my target is 100k but I make 130k at worst because we have club in the hotel as well.
It happened on friday when a customer wanted to buy a wine and I was eating before the customer came in, I was still chewing my meat when the customer came in and I tried to attend to the customer with the meet in my mouth because I do not want to delay him. In that process, my Managing Director came in and slapped me 2times in the presence of customers and even guys that were making wooing me, his reason was that I attended to a customer while eating. We not have break time in this my place of work o.
He slapped me and I worked away to continue my work but I want to revenge. I do not want my silence to be in vain.
My manager has been begging me not to resign because I dropped my resignation letter that day. He is begging me to come back.
What would you do if you were in my shoes?

i really do not understand the press release by LUTH.

1- They said Mayowa is an old patient of theirs already on treatment for another ailment??

what i understood from this is that she was misdiagnosed and was treated for different ailment instead of cancer for a very long time.
The family discovered it was stage 4 cancer after getting diagnosis from another hospital.

2- This 31year-old lady came into the Private Wing of LUTH on Monday, 25th July, 2016 with a history and clinical features of an intra-abdominal mass. The family and the patient brought along some results of laboratory investigations ordered and done from outside LUTH.

They only knew she had cancer or "mass " after she was diagnosed by another hospital.

Why in the holy hell would the family continue treatment with luth if they weren't able to diagnose the right disease in the first instance?
Now they are saying they wanted to conduct another batch of test?? I believe this process will take another couple of months and its obvious every second is crucial for mayowa.

3- the family however requested to fly Miss Ahmed outside the country barely 24 hours after her admission in LUTH,
So, basically they have been treating her for a mis-dagnosed ailment for a long time and only admitted her after they came with test results from other hospitals.

Nigerian public hospitals are a disgrace.


Come on guys, let's be real here. Most of us will go above and beyond for the people we love. I wouldn't wait for any quack doctor in a public hospital to give me diagnosis before making my own moves.

I don't see any scam here.
