What is the difference btw massob and MEND, these judges just want to heat the already fragile polity |
Nigerian have there special tactic of doing thing, FASTING, PRAYING and WATCHING. |
So true, this is d norm of nigerians, after a case of high level corruption is brought up, the court delays d cases and b4 u know it, everybody has forgotten abt it. Especially the nigerian media. #smh for my country. |
sweetkevisco: Tell me why,we will not then sleep with female secondary school students.since i cant collect my alawee in cash,it wil be in kind.Abeg o!, e neva reach like that, Pls let's first try to project our situation to the governor himself, let he be aware of what's going on and try to resolve it, b4 you start your adventure. |
EmmyDe25: @Wilxz, nice one. Na d same boat we dey o. Dat ministry of special duties is filled with unscrupulous nd a debauched set of pple, who deals in a vry shaddy manner. There has bin a loud cry by d Batch C on why only 610 corpers wl be paid out of ova 3000 corpers deployd to d state, but nothing has been done till ds vry moment.I will try to do that, if you can also bring the attention of others in the same situation, that would also be good. |
After sunday loss 2 man city, chelsea just have 2 bouns back and hit these guys hard. We shouldn't be dragging position with arsenal and tottenham |
ednut1: gods grace indeed, u know before say na 600 pple dem go pay, go ur rules book, a corper is nt meant to protest hahahahahaha, abeg manage ur 198Who said anything about protesting, I just want our governor in Lagos state to be fair in his dealing, if he is even aware that its only 600 people, that is being paid, cos the payment comes from the ministry of special duties. They may just be the one who decide to pay just 600 corp members and keep the rest for themselves |
ednut1: afta runsin ur service to lag, ur talkin about injustice, coruptn everywhere, u hv no moral right to complainabeg manage ur 19800For your information, I didn't pay anybody anything to get posted to lagos, it was by Gods grace, not everybody has that amount of money to waste on runsin, Pls moderate, help get this to the front page to get the authorities attention. |
An open letter to the governor of Lagos State. Sir, This is to bring to your attention the perceived injustice being perpetrated by the Ministry of Special duties, in lagos state, I am a youth corp member serving with the newly oriented batch A. We were meant to believe that the state government will be paying corp members posted to Government secondary schools some form of allowance. After the orientation we all trooped down to the office of the Ministry of special duties for the onward process of our state allowance, we were then told to submit our NYSC posting letter and to return in two days time for collection of our stamped letters and bank form for the payment process. On getting there on the requested day, some where given the bank form and majority of us weren't given. And no reasonable reasons was given to us. This has caused a lot of bitterness and rancour amongst the corp member, some of who have decided to have a nonchalant attitude towards the delivery of their services in their respective schools. Sir, these are some of the questions bothering on the minds of corp members. 1 what was the criteria for the selection of the corp members who are to be paid. 2 Is the rumour about paying only 600 corp members true? 3 Is there a form of selection process across tribal line, religious line, state of origin or federal character on which the selection is based. 4 Is it based on "First come first serve" or knowing "The oga at the top" 5 Is the payment a political propaganda to boost the popularity of the state, as the state paying the highest allowance to corp member. We are seeking for answers, as to know how we can fight for our right and also to know who is short changing us. The motto of the NYSC says service and humility, we are ready to give our services, but where injustice prevails, the service and humility would be compromised. We plead with our amiable governor to wade into this issue. The motto of Lagos state says Justice and progress. Let's us all practice what we preach. Thank you. Eko o ni baje. |
if a man comes and shits in my room i wont run away rather i will pick up a stick and break his head. By CHINUA ACHEBE. |
Nkanuzu: Na lie. Posting of corpers to Lagos state is usually based on request and not luck. So if u requested to be posted to Lagos, be prepared to face the hassles of lagos unless you have someone to give u a soft landing. All the bestMy posting wasnt by request, it was by luck cos i didnt do anytin 2 be posted 2 lagos. and i also reside in lagos. |
I have been following dis thread since page 1, finally I have gotten 2 d end. Mazi thank you for keeping me busy while waiting for my service. But u have given me a whole new meaning abt service to your fatherland. " Taking care of d desires of his female children" lol. I have been mobilized 2 serve at lasgidi. I hope 2 get just half d experience on ur write up. Good writing though, but pls upload some more. |
For those coming in from other state to lagos for the first time. If your bus stops at ojota, take another bus going to oshodi. Most buses stop u at oshodi oke ( immediately after d bridge) on oshodi apapa expressway, Try walking down under the bridge onto Agege motor road (that's the expressway under the bridge) you can then board a bus going to iyana ipaja from there. When you get to iyana ipaja, I think its a 100bucks from there to d camp. For those coming from d north, most times your buses tend to take you to oyingbo. Get a bus going to costain from oyingbo, when you get to costain, you board another bus going 2 ojuelegba (hope I got that spelling correctly). From ojuelegba, you get another bus going to oshodi. ( The bus from ojuelegba would stop u at oshodi but along the Agege motor road (that's the expressway under the bridge) you can then board a bus going to iyana ipaja from there. When you get to iyana ipaja, I think its a 100bucks from there to d camp. For those coming in from the airport, well since you can afford that, you can as well afford to take the airport cab straight to the camp. Or if u want to get an adventure of the lagos hustle, (the airport is actually close to iyana ipaja). Walk to the closest bus stop, take a bus going toward the Agege motor road, cross over to the other side of the express road and join a bus going to iyana ipaja. If the above direction is not clear enough, the get hold of a GPS enabled device when coming, either ur black berry, Iphone, Ipad, or android devices and log onto GOOGLE MAP. U can also reach me at 275BDEAA bb pin. Or 0.8.1.7.1.3.2.8.1.2.1. Wishing u all a safe trip 2 lasgidi. |

I could recall when obama was running for president, for his first tenure. Not everyone that voted for him then, did it out of his promises or policies, some people just wanted a different a coloured person in the white house, same thing applies here. I just want another party leading this nation, I don't care if they are bigger thieves, let another thief come and steal there own, enough with PDP thievery. |
Wetin chinese no go fit do, they don't need plastic surgery for this. |
A Yoruba Man and an Igbo man were caught in Saudi Arabia, sharing a smuggled barrel of beer. They were arrested and taken to the Sheikh's palace for questioning and judgement. The yoruba man lied that the igbo man smuggled and forced him to drink the beer!! Both were initially given a death sentence but, as it was a national holiday, the sheikh decided they should be released after some lashes of the whip. As they were preparing for their punishment, the sheikh said, "It's my first wife's birthday today and she asked me to allow each of you 2 wishes before your whipping, but you cannot wish not to be whipped!" The yoruba man thought for a second then said: "Please tie two pillows to my back before whipping." And my second wish is that you flog me only 20 strokes of the whip. He was whipped, and luckily for him, the pillows helped to make the pain of the whip lesser. The igbo man saw this; thought for a second, then said: "Thank you, most royal and merciful highness for the wishes. My first wish is to receive 100 lashes with the strongest..., toughest whip available." "If you so desire," the sheikh replied with a puzzled look on his face..., " and your second wish?" igbo man replies: "Tie the yoruba man to my back.... Yoruba man faints.. |
Thats courageous, but come to tink of it cant this guy use his €500 to start a small biz to help himself, some of first class guys can't do things on there own, some lack the creativity mind set. They just like working for others and like being told what to do. |
Way to go, dumb ass. |
