this is quite pathetic. Ever since the privatization thing , in fact since this year, the summation of all the PHCN light we have gotten is not up to 1 week (24hours x 7 days) and yet the summation of the bill for light in just 3 bedroom flat since January is #108, 000. I don't know where they manufacture their bill (they refuse to give us prepaid meter). Most times we do not see light for 2 weeks,when the do,it can only last for 30minutes. things has gotten from bad to worst and as a result, I have disconnected my home from PHCN entirely and now run on Solar +inverter +2 powerful maintenance free batteries. this is the best decision I had made so far and now I have light 24/7 with all my appliances running concurrently (deep freezer, 3 desktop computers, laptop, TV, fans and energy bulbs). It only cost me #380K.

When the issue of abduction of over 200 girls from Chibok school was announced 4 months ago, It attracted the pity of all well meaning Nigerians and some foreign countries especially on their parents. I was not left out and some well respected Nigerians and others embarked on the bring back our girls campaign which then engulfed some social media and live protests with a # key "#bringbackourgirls"
Some Nigerians even said that it was a scam. Hmm! According to the media, the President invited the School Principal and the Parents of the said girls of which the discussions were not exclusively disclosed. I hope the presidency took records of all the actors involved in this movie-like actions.


On August 19th, Aljazeera News broadcasted an unconfirmed report that 85 men were abducted from Gwoza and later we heard that they were intercepted alongside with their abductor somewhere in Niger Republic. Please May I ask my fellow N'landers a question; why hasn't there be any unconfirmed report from Aljazeera or other foreign media about the discharge of 5 Ebola patients from quarantine centre in Lagos? or has their correspondence in Lagos all been sent to Prison? I think Egyptian Governments understands the role of these media house better.

It will be recalled that the modus operandi for Boko haram is to back up any of their claims with evidence, how come there has not been any video evidence showing Shekau or his boys in the said LGA enviroment or with their flag hosted there? something is definetly wrong with the recent reports about Boko haram and their operations in Nigeria.
