I av said it before, PDP is dead and buried the only way to have a formidable opposition to APC is for the remaining PDP governors to go into alliance with Labour Party and APGA to form a new Party. see link below. The name PDP has become a bad brand from North to South of Nigeria. Even my Igbo brothers voted Jonathan as person and not PDP but the mofos went ahead and manipulated other elections against the wishes of the Igbo people and hence has invited Igbos to their burial rites. https://www.nairaland.com/2265787/how-form-formidable-political-opposition |
I see an Ibo man becoming a British PM 10 years from now |
“They are owing each of us about N18 million as entitlements.this is serious. how can a state house member earn #36 million for 2months (feb - march), that's a whopping #18M/month. Pls don't tell me allowances inclusive. I give up on Nigeria Dis Change wind must begin from House of Assemblies if Buhari is d real agent of Change |
Nigerian Ladies be like these chicks( dat is if d guy get egunje) |
with all these professorship they are sharing around d world, i hope egunje is pouring in not just d title? |
CyberWolf:You mean Fr Edeh is already aware that SUSU is a lesbo and even try to protect her and not sack her. that being said, it will be futile to report SUSU to Fr. Edeh. as it seem the said SUSU have more accomplice. i know Madonna school fee is high but how come SUSU is able to pay up all the accumulated sch fees for all her victims. I think SUSU and Filo are well connected to the main stream of the school and reporting them to the schl management will have adverse effect on the victim if not eliminated to cover up such an act which will ternish d image of the school. |
omonnakoda:Bros relax, his tenure is 5 years, no negotiation. Trust me, Buhari government will be more than happy to have him on board, they may even double his portfolio. He is an asset . |
Nice move at late hour . I hope his appointment would not be tempered with by the Buhari government. Peter Obi should have been the PDP presidential candidate in the last election. I believe he has the ability and the capacity to deliver this country from the lasting doom we called leadership. He is a visionary leader. Do you know that Anambra State is the only state in Nigeria without any recurring debt profile and with billions of savings, did not owe its worker any salary and even increased the salary by 15% stating from march 2015. lots of investments coming from outside and within Nigeria, won Bill Gate price for exellence in ICT (2Billion USD), Mr Gate also facilitating the ultra modern ICT centers in the state, better education facilities with all publicSec Sch having a standard ICT labs with internet provisioned by the state government courtesy Mr Peter Obi . Anambra is the only viable state in Nigeria and if Obiano continue to build on the foundation laid by Obi, No State in Nigeria will stand before this Light of the Nation. I am beginning to see something good different by the candidates produced by APGA, they seems to be ahead of Other when it comes to governance and leadership. Rochas Okorocha which APC and Nigerians sees today as Good leader was made Governor by APGA, Peter Obi which PDP and Nigerians sees today as a visionary leader was made governor by APGA and I'm sure Obiano is following the footstep. There is something good about the party APGA which ethnic sentiments will not allow Nigeria to enjoy. |
So coaches dey earn much money too, even bigger than most footballers in Britain. Somebody please lend me Football Manager 2015 ![]() |
are u all that ugly in black color and why do you want to change ur color? |
The Only Issue is that there may have not been adequate publicity for the program. I have gone through the list , its a fair list. Meanwhile, some of the candidates from the South who lives in the North may have applied as Northern candidates just like the 2014 Miss Nigeria where 2/3 of the Northern states presented/were represented by Southerners. The rule has been set since inception of the scholarship, there is no need to bend the rule to favor anybody whether from South or North. |
Basildvalour:Recall that APC is amalgamation of various sectional parties (ANPP, CPC, ACN, AD- only its ghost exist now and some factions of APGA), which individually would not have defeated PDP in Presidential poll for the next 20 years. |
As we all know, PDP is dead, the name PDP is a bad brand from the North to the South (even in the South East -I know you may not believe that but it is the reality, they all voted PDP due to Jonathan factor and from all indications, PDP will retain only 2 states in SE). The only way to have a tough opposition or wrestle power from APC is for the governors of the remaining PDP States to agree together and jump ship one after the other to another party like Labour Party (which is neutral in the mind of every Nigerian) and then try to merge with other sectional Parties like APGA to create a good will for the newly formed party. I bet you that some of the governors from the Northern States will jump ship from APC when the APC leadership becomes tough on them. |

kasiem:Building overhead bridges and pedestrian bridges are just basic things which should not take place of achievement. anything categorized as achievement must drive a reasonable part of the economy. Obiano is trying but I'm yet to see major initiated project as we saw during Obi's administration though he may outperformed him at long run but for now i give it to Obi, he has what it takes to run a successful administration. |
FreeGlobe:BIG LIE Despite Peter Obi's political Blunder as we assume, he started most of the projects Obiano is completing. he laid a good foundation, created streams of income which Obiano is utilising today. infact he diversified the economy of the State, invested heavily on education ( the 1st positions Anambra is taking in all the national exams are products of Obi's administration). but waitooo, his decamping to PDP may be a blessing in disguise for the people of his region, don't ask me why |
OdenigboAroli:and you think Akpokuodike will place Anambra interest first before his personal interest, Man cool down, I'm from Anambra, abum nwafor Igbo but I try to remove sentiments from my comments, you do not understand what is really going on now. I said in one of my topic in 2012 that any merger between APC and CPC will displace PDP from Aso rock and some folks doubted it. later they merged and we are seeing the result now. |
I see Obiano of Anambra joining APC but that will be if Rochas is decleared winner of Imo state in 25th April runoff poll so that he will be well guided into APC. Once that happens, Mr. Oti of Abia (projected to win Abia guber via APGA) will be the next to jump ship if he also wins his runoff. PDP has messed themselves up. If during Pa Buhari's 1st tenure he is able to deliver on the projects handed over to him by Chief Dr DOzie Ikedife (former Ohaneze Ndi igbo president) as requested by him, then Igbos will vote with no sentiment to him and the Entire SE will go to APC. This is the time and the opportunity for Buhari to work and integrate Igbos fully into Nigeria and into the Change train. I wish him Goodluck |
Peter Obi, its evident u have done a good job in Anambra and laid good foundation for a viable state but u don enter 1 chance when u jump ship from APGA to dat ojoro party PDP. It was evident dat Ur pdp rigged national assembly elections. O ga eme gi voom nanya wen Obiano refuses merging with pdp and joins APC |
naijamark:Most of those Igbos either raised their capital from their village before migrating to establish their business in your lagos or came to lagos and worked their ass off to establish themselves here in Lagos, same can be said about other tribesmen who came from different part of Nigeria to Lagos. Neither Lagos state government nor your brother gave or lend them money to start their businesses here yet they pay tax which are used by Lagost State govt. for developmental projects u are enjoying in Lagos. If you are shown the amount of tax generated from Apapa wharf as a result of importation alone, you will marvel. It was the collective resources and efforts of all states and tribes in nigeria that had built and sustained Lagos.it all started when Lagos was made the capital and now commercial capital of Nigeria. we are talking about xenophobia in South Africa but ur comments sure portrays true nature of xenophobia in Nigeria. HEY N'Landers we have a xenophobic representative here. |
Tosinayoko:wherever u serve in d East, compare the place with villages in Ondo, Osun, Oyo, etc and tell urself the truth. do u know that in some places in Kiribo and Arogbo in Ese-Odo LGA of Ondo State that full grown ladies do not cover their unclothedness? Back to topic, No man is an Island, South Africans will look back some day and see how they destroyed their nation |
newmaonza: |
LagosDecides15:grow up man. Some of ur brothers in Lagos will not be happy with ur comment. if Lagos goes up in flames, apart from casualties, whose economic strength will be loosened? Why do some of you keep inviting troubles to urselves? d last time I checked, those Igbos has used ur so called lagos to rebuilt their homes down East while strengthening Lagos economy . The fund generated as tax from their businesses and the private sector employment they offer to many SW brothers is a good thing. You hadly see any village down East, even inside thick forest, u see some modern castles of which the case is not same here in the SW apart from Lagos. We are 1 Nigeria and need each other so grow. |
the videos i saw today made me sad throughout d day. To even think that Nigeria spent over $61 billion dollar to free these inhuman beings from apartheid is worrisome. |
musicwriter:imagine the killer testifying in the court few weeks ago that he mistook Lucky Dube to be a Nigerian. OUCh! what a hatred |
This has a lot to say about the apartheid regime in South Africa. Apartheid may have been started as result of their barbaric act against the white that came to settle in their country and the white taught them the lesson they will never forget in their life. these horrible beings has just started another fight that will consume them and their generation. later the will start shouting "Afritheid". this time around Nigeria any other sensible country will not come to your aid. |
RANDYMUDA:now I see the reason he has not taken action but wait, why is our Presido not taken action too, is he planning to become in laws to the Zulu? I love Goodluck but his silence is killing the nation now. Mr. President we know you are a good man but this action alone will never remove the respect you have earned from us. Sack the damn South African Ambassador |
teeowl:I only saw Zuma on the television saying that it is not good, what action has he taken? nothing. South African Government cannot tell us that they can't stop ordinary street protest with just sticks and stones, its their nature to bite the fingers that feed them. |
This is one of the reason Pa Buhari should canvas for all inclusive government. Fayose or the like should be made minister for foreign affair,I'm sure he will know how to use tools around him to teach those South Africans and their businesses here in Nigeria a big lesson without leaving a footprint of our foreign mission.. honorably, i like Jonathan but if nothing is done by tomorrow, he should not wait for 28th May to hand over. he should hand over next week. |
I'm very sad this evening. do we have a president in this nation? President Goodluck should explain to us what the South African Ambassador is still doing in Nigeria. he should sack him immediately. No diplomacy should be applied in this case. In the Early news I watched this morning, the south african police were there just looking while their citizens maim innocent foreigners. NCC should workout modalities to stop DSTV from ceasing broadcasting right over our broadcasting satellite space at least we now have Consat and Startimes that can comfortably take up the challenge. This is one of the reason Pa Buhari should canvas for all inclusive government. Fayose or the like should be made minister for foreign affair,I'm sure he will know how to use tools around him to teach those South Africans and their businesses here in Nigeria a big lesson without leaving a footprint of our foreign mission. |
Arysexy:Not to be tribalistic but do you know that those communities have common boundary with Delta State. the name of the village where the oil is being mined ther is Ogorogo village and they speak delta -ijaw language. if you dare remind them that they are Yoruba, they 'll curse to the end. I know this because i lived with them at my building and worked with some of them at the Local government HQ for 1 yr. I had a friend called Francis Okoro but he does not even know how to speak igbo or Yoruba, only izon language. |
