Na wa oh. People who are legal in the UK, even people with UK degrees are finding it difficult to get common menial jobs talkless of well-paying jobs now you want to come and join illegals. Have you heard that the Conservatives are in government and that they might start paying people to fish out illegals? Please try another country like Australia and New Zealand where they are looking for people before they also get filled up.

You can use visitors/temporary visa to enter New Zealand and and then try to look for jobs as I was told by their government official at a Working Abroad Seminar.He also said that if you get a job then the work permit will be arranged. But check the New Zealand govt website yourself.

Mind you these jobs are for highly educated and highly skilled people with nothing less than 5yrs experience cos they have people there too, British, American, Russian, Spanish, etc. Not only you is interested in New Zealand So you have to be highly educated and skilled, if not stay in Naija or try Ghana/other good African countries (do your own research properly).

Don't come to the UK and become illegal unless you want to really suffer, curse the day you were born and curse God and start wondering what you came to do in life. Its that bad. I am not lying. UK is not really different from Nigeria apart from the infrastructure and security and sanity of living. But it is worse than Nigeria because here there is no atom or molecule of mercy. Nobody cares. You can still come as a tourist and really enjoy your holiday maybe some 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 years time if you look somewhere else now. A word is enough for the wise.

On your arrival to TRNC , you shall apply for Student temporary residence permit for 1 or 2 yr etc. to apply for residence permit , you shall not have HIV. TB, HEPATITIS B, C if you have when you are tested at the hospital , you shall come back Home with the next available flight and loose your money. so test yourself b4 you travel to TRNC.

when you have residence permit on your Intl passport , you can travel to Nigeria anytime within the limit of your Residence permit . if expired No way you cant return back to TRNC. when you are coming back from your break you shall go back to turkish embassy and get another 1 month TRANSIT VISA.

Cyprus is divided into two diffrent parts. THE NORTH PART called TURKISH REPUBLIC OF NORTH CYPRUS , TRNC the other part is South cyprus SC. TRNC is recognised by Turkey and do not have embassy in Nigeria, so the only way to TRNC is tru TURKISH TRANSIT VISA, at the TURKISH EMBASSY IN NIGERIA.

South cyprus also do not have embassy in Nigeria but Do have CONSULATE in IDDO house in LAGOS. so applicants do apply for visa at the SC consulate. So SC has their own VISA but TRNC do not have ONLY TRANSIT VISA. mostly to travel to SC most people travel tru Dubia and straight to LARNACA airpot in SC.
You can travel to TRNC tru many ways depending on where you are coming from. some travel tru Egypt airline meaning you stop over at Cairo b4 coming to TRNC, emirate airlines etc so the flight route depends on the airline and country.

If you buy a ticket , your flight details including time to reconect even if you transitin shall be indicated on your tickets. if you are going to Germany and you buy Turkish Airline ticket. then you shall stop over at istanbul and reconect wit your next flight at the time indicated on your tickets with such case you dont need TRANSIT VISA at istanbul cos you are only stoppin since their airline has reached her own destination , so you may be travelling to Germany from instabul with another airline again or the same airline depending on them.

First, Travelling to North cyprus from Nigeria you will need TURKISH TRANSIT VISA. the flight is mostly at night from lagos some time it leaves around 11pm Niaja time and arrive like 6am or 7am to Istanbul following day. The students or travellers that booked directly from Nigeria to ERCAN Airport in North Cyprus will have to wait till around 6pm turkish time or thereabout to get conected to North cyprus. But the TRANSIT VISA issues Mostly for students will have 72hours DURATION OF STAY incase you dont book ERCAN straight from Nigeria. so btwn 6am to 6pm is less than 24hrs.

so you dont have to wait more than 24hrs if your flight is from Nigeria to ERCAN straight. The reason is that flight from turkey to north cyprus is not all HOURS as is it obtained in nigeria like abuja to lagos. some days they have 2 flights ONLY pa day. one early in the Morning and one in the evening. The one early in the Morning must have gone to North cyprus before the students or travellers arrive from nigeria so travellers have to wait for the one in the Evening around 6 to 7pm if all are under STP.

I can see you dont know what you are saying. I would have not replied you cos from your post i can see you know Nothing and you must have only travelled to ukraine or Russia so you too begin to claim Abroad travellers since you transit from istanbul to ukrain or russia always. The topic of this thread is TURKISH TRANSIT VISA not ukraine VIsa, the student that posted the topic knows what he is doing and knows what his chosen school asked him to get , you cant just come from No where and say since you are travelling by turkish Airline you dont need visa as if turkish Airline is VISA herself. In Nigeria there are alot of routes that you can transit from Turkey to like Germany, belgium. Most people do travel to Germany or belgium By Turkish airlines , they only transit from istanbul to their final destination either to Borispol , ukraine or Germany or belgium etc they do not need visa since they are not staying at Instabul. alot of people had transited tru dubia to south cyprus b4 as well BUT HERE TO ENTER NORTH CYPRUS WHICH IS THE TOPIC OF THIS THREAD YOU MUST HAVE TRANSIT VISA. I will rather advise you to open you eyes wide enuf b4 you reply to any posts becos of the effects on people reading your posts.
For any student travelling to TURKISH REPUBLIC OF NORTHERN CYPRUS , you need to apply for your Turkish Transit visa at Turkish embassy since north cyprus does not have embassy in Nigeria.

I suggest you get new birth cert original from LGO and used that. Reason: just 2weeks ago my cousin was denied FRANCE STUDENT VISA just becos place of birth on intl passport is SAPELE but on birth cert is LAGOS.he already had affidavit wit him, initailly he was asked to get anoda intl passport and re-apply he met a woman in lag immig ofice that promised to help within some weeks to get it corrected since he has sworn affidavit that it was a mistake from immig ofice until after 3days he was called to come to the embassy again ,wen he got their he was asked to come and get refusal letter. But on his refusal letter nothin was written, he went wit assets from his parents as his sponsor, land ppty, bank statment worth 6mil naira, paid 9300euros first year school fees but was refused.
the only thing that i suspected was the birth and intl probs. wait for others to give u more info on that anyway. i also remeber when Austria embassy requested for my birth cert , i never had one b4 cos i was born inside a car and i tink mine was just naming ceremony card i have. But i got new one from popluation somethin soemthin in abuja then and i used it. i was given my visa .

student visa to which country? which embassy do you get that? you can ask the officers in charge BUt you need to tell pple which Country cos student visas forms differ in each country. am sure there is nothing like attributes in Nigerian student visa form.

Tuition fee to where? LASU or GOVERNMENT HIGH SCHOOL or where? if is within Nigeria you can anywhay you like it dependin on the payment mode by the school. if is abroad then you will need a Dorm account. so open one or get your bank to do that for you.

Good job done BUT LARNACA is NOT in TRNC is in SOUTH CYPRUS and with Turkish transit visa you cant be allow there. you can only travel tru Dubia to larnaca.
Also any students travelling toTRNC shall book straight to ERCAN AIRPORT in North cyprus from lagos. you have 12hrs stay at ATATURK AIRPOT in ISTANBUL. I will never advise you to leav the airport till your flight connect around 6pm Turkish time if not you shall pay extra money and language barrier might affect you. also send Airport pickup form to your respectiv skools to meet you at ERCAN if not most taxi might charge you range of 50-100tl but bus from skool will take you straight to your pre-arranged accomodation.

IMPT NOTE; i will advise students going to TRNC to do HIV, TB, HEPATITIS test in Nigeria and confirmed Negative b4 applying for visa or travelling to TRNC cos to obtain Temporary residence permit you shall do it again on arrival and if founf +ve, you shall be DEPORTED AT THAT SPOT. some had paid fees, wasted flight fare and were deported back.
Also students going to south Cyprus can only go tru dubai to Larnaca where skool reps meet them at Airport and immigration officials to show minimum of 1600euros. for SC HIV and TB tests are one of their requirements to get visa from SC consulate in Lagos.

You are welcome. how many students do CIU admit b4? I dont agree CIU has admitted upto 1000 students in year b4 and if they had what has the number got to do with you? And as far i as i know, No university in Cyprus has limit to number of students they admit they live on students money and CIU will really need your money than anybody cos is a private institution, without your money how will they pay staffs, and smile to the bank? it is only university or school that has goverment financial support that can has such claims, since they will be able to pay staffs from funding from Government.

it is better to obtain your admission letter first then start on Visa. these are two diffrent things. after you get your admission , pay the fees as quoted on your letter and get confirmation to go embassy then chek turkish embassy website for your visa stuffs. is good to follow things accordingly. STANDARD OF LIVING IN NORTH CYPRUS is not high compared to other european countries or similar countries but higher than Nigeria due to higher currency of Cyprus. North cyprus spend Turkish Lira which is 110 Naira according to present exchange rate. so eatin at a small cafe can be like 6tl which is 660Naira, to barb your hair like 10tl which is 1100naira, taxi least charge is 5tl which is 550Naira, so most things ranges in that order. in cyprus if you live outside skool, YOU NEED TO PAY FOR LITE AND WATER BILLS, utility bills inshort , not like Nigeria you can tap lite, so be ready for that, it is a small island but well organised . Nigeria economy is higher than cyprus but No organization, but in cyprus they obey rules and regulations, police dont collect bribe, you hardly find a place to do OLUWOLE DOCUMeNTS, if you smoke ganja, you go to jail, you cant fight sombody, Nothing like strikes, the lecturers dont victimised students and dont make things so diifucult as most Nigerian proffessor do. so things work in cyprus is not an heaven where you make billions of dollars like many things there are billions of dollars on OYINBO street to make as if Oyinbo no like money. Most of these european countries you see ,Nigeria if organised and the citizens obey rules and regulations, are creative, the government is sensible and respect the ctizens CANNOT match Nigeria. but the reverse is our case. but each one of us shoul try to be the ELEMENT of CHANGE will yarn for.

fill the attached scholarship form and send it back to them imedtly. the least entry scholarship you will have is 25% discount from your fee. if your olevel is very nice and you had achieved some other special thing then you can have btwn 25%-100% scholarship. last semester about 3 Nigerians got 100% scholarship, so dont wait till you reach EMU fill and return. scan a copy to me i shall take it up for you.

about your visa , you live at Abuja, you dont bother yourself, how many times do i want to tell you that YOU WILL BE GRANTED 1 MONTH VISA , your skool resumes sept. if you are bin granted visa now WONT IT EXPIRE B4 YOU GO? see let me tell you cyprus is not a place you rush into or any othere country outside Nigeria, dont do mistake or rush to leave, is better to do your homework well b4 you leave naija. from August you can expect interview from the embassy.

with 3.6 /5.0 she can be admitted only if she studied someting related or very close cos that is 2.88 on scale 4.0 and most canadian university will gladly take 3.0 on scale 4.0 but MUN do take like 2.88 but her former course must be related then or same. if not i think she will beter choose same course and change during the following semester , they do take interfaculty transfer if she can pick some related courses in her first semester. she can email the school. they are in the best position to say anything anyway.
