The Airlines that fly from Abuja to ERCAN north Cyprus are Egypt Air, British Air, Lufthansa, Air Tungaru but you might required Visa to pass through some of the Transit countries. The best Bet is to fly to Lagos  and travel tru Turkish Airline  to ERCAN AIRPORT.

I do Not work with Turkish embassy, where i work is written below and if you have any problem coming down or during your registration you can call any of our office number.

Yeah you can use your TRANSCRIPT to apply but i do not know if CIU do accept transfer student. EMU accept transfer applicant but the PASS GRADE at EMU is 50, so all courses you failed wont be exempted for you at EMU, you will be asked to register such courses at EMU again meaning that the quality of your transcript tells how many years you will spend at EMU.

Student Exchange Agreement signed with American University of Nigeria

Good news. EMU has just signed a student exchange agreement with the American University of Nigeria. This agreement will hopefully be active by September providing new opportunities for students from both universities to spend at least one semester at either of the universities with same fees paid at home university. EMU has started establishing links with credible and quality universities in Nigeria to make exchange of knowledge between partner universities easier and allow students to gain from both ends.

At EMU to get admitted for Master program, an applicant must be holder of an undergraduate degree but not diploma. Since HND is a diploma it is not possible to be admitted for master program at EMU, Such student if is 25years or below can transfer to any of the undergrad programs at EMU and spend maybe 3 semesters to get DEGREE and then start a master program.

You will not need to go to Ministry of foreign affairs, you will only need to go to MED. Your name has been sent to Turkish embassy since last week Thursday so you can obtain your visa anytime from now. before you go to the embassy kindly let me know so i can let you know your fax and details we sent to the embassy for easy access.

You can buy one way, which i do advice new students to even buy if you are traveling to NC. one way is possible. Your agents want more commissions from the airlines so two ways give higher return. try Another agent or go straight to the Airport and you will find all the airline counter you can buy yourself. The embassy or immigration of NC has nothing to do with the number of ways you buy on your way to NC. goodluk!

Dear Prospective EMU students,

I wish to inform you all, that those that had received their confirmation letters can now go to the embassy and apply for their visas. We had sent your names to the embassy and in case you are told your name is on the list kindly insist the school already informed you your name was sent, to me its like they derived happiness SAYING your name is not on the list. In case you have such problem at embassy not Only Nigerian but also Cameroonian kindly contact our international office and we shall strive at our best to solve your problems.


VERY VERY IMPORTANT NOTE:

All students admitted Must received a full acceptance package from EMU first by email and also by post( which take time) and this package contains EMU official bank accounts which prospective students can pay their money into and send us payment slip to trace their payments before we can send them CONFIRMATION LETTERS. DO NOT in any circumstance send money to anybody's account claiming to help you pay the fees here at Cyprus, I WARN YOU ALL. When you get your acceptance letter KINDLY insist you want to pay into EMU official bank account which carries EMU name as the receiver of the money . If you send your money to anybody here to pay for you and your money got lost or missing. EMU and Mr WIP are saying YOU ARE OWN YOUR OWN.

Last Monday will be the 5th case a parent or uncle will call saying their son or daughter paid to his or her friends and they are yet to receive CONFIRMATION LETTERS which i traced i discovered NO payment was done on behalf of the said students. Some will pay ONLY half payment and the student will arrive here and found out ONLY half payment was done on his or her behalf. I already have two cases like that, a woman called my office to confirm balance of her daughter which i told her ONLY 600USD was paid for your daughter and she said NO they paid 1500USD that the friends convince them so they can balance up later. PLEASE be warn. PAY to the bank YOURSELF.

Also Fall Exams end 18th of January at EMU, I urge incoming new students to book their flight to arrive here after 20th January due to the fact that if you come earlier than this date, might pose some difficulties for us picking you up at airport, lodging you at a room for the period of your registration since old students hostel and still filled up with students writing exams and some will need time to vacate the rooms to allow new students to come in and more over Official Registration for new students is FEB 7th and classes commence FEB 10th, so i keep wondering what will you be doing here wasting your money till registration and classes? We want to serve you the best ONLY if you listen to advise.

Kindly send us you pick up service form at-least 3days to your arrival so that we can pick you up and if you dont know how to read the FLIGHT NUMBER and DEPARTURE TIME kindly give somebody nearby that KNOWS that so we don't miss you at airport.

Prospective EMU students,

I will like to use this platform to inform the new incoming students that Some lazy individuals have resorted to cheat fellow students on arrival and even after arrival. NOT ONLY the NIGERIANS BUT SOME TAXI DRIVERS cos some of these taxi drivers knows you are new and they will triple or tetra the taxi fare even around the campus. The NORMAL fare around the campus is 5turkish lira and always ask for the fare before you enter it saves alot.


We urge you all to send us your flight details 3 days before you arrive to international.center@emu.edu.tr or emuintcenter@gmail.com or scholarship@emu.edu.tr so that we can arrange to pick you up at airport and lodge you into one of our Dorms.

Please note that on your arrival always look for a somebody carrying EASTERN MEDITERRANEAN UNIVERSITY PLACARD, Most of times when am not on tight schedule i shall pick students also at airport or my assistant can do also. DO NOT BUY SIM card, We shall provide you with FREE SIM CARDS LOADED WITH UNITS to call home you arrive safely.

NOTE:

1. PICK UP SERVICE IS FREE of charges : Nobody with EMU placards will ask you for money on arrival and if anybody does kindly call us or report the names at the international center
2. If you refuse to send us your arrival details 3days b4 you arrive and you send to your friends to pick you up or you allow unknown individual to collect your hard-earned money then  EMU or Mr WIP shall not be held responsible for your deaf ears and ignorance.
3. All new students will be given FREE accommodation on arrival so as to settle down and make choice of rooms and pay to the school bank account after making some decisions, do not give any individual MONEY to make payment for you, most of you are old enough to know where the banks are situated.
4. In case you have any slight problem on your arrival or within the campus as a new comer, kindly ask for my office THE INTERNATIONAL CENTER OFFICE OF EMU. We shall try our best to make you feel at home.


ISSUES AT TURKISH EMBASSY ABUJA;

For those that had paid and we had sent you CONFIRMATION LETTER, we do send names time to time to Turkish embassy but some individual at Turkish embassy ABUJA sometimes are BLIND and will tell students their names are not on the list, please from the embassy kindly call our office i shall inform you if your name is sent or not so you wont need to go back home.

Admission is still ON for interested applicants and we urge students yet to pay to do so as spring semester is fast approaching.

Have you paid your fees? you will need to pay your fees first and after that your chosen university will send your name to the embassy. You don't need to wait for Original acceptance letter cos mostly it is sent be regular post and might arrive even after you are in 200level so you can make use of the clear copy scan to you by the university. The embassy understand that and provided your name is in the list sent to the embassy you will surely get your visa with the supporting docs!

it is not compulsory for your sponsor to own a company, and in that case you don't need company documents to show at the embassy just your sponsorship letter and tax clearance of the sponsor from his place of work.

Sure CIU do send names to embassy also for their own students that already paid their fees. But when they send and how they send i dont know. you can reach the school and ask them about your status.

EMU wishes to inform prospective students that admission deadline for February 2011 is 16th January, so interested applicant can still apply before the deadline, also we have sent the 3rd batch of names of students that already paid their fees to Turkish embassies in various countries in order for the students to obtain their Entry Visa hassle free.


All incoming students that are yet to apply for scholarship can do so by sending their scholarship application to scholarship@emu.edu.tr For those students that had paid their fees should send us payment slip/details so as to enable us send them confirmation letter and also fax their name to the concerned embassy for visa.


For those that are yet to pay, should do so, so as to meet with deadline of sending names to the embassy if not such student wont be able to obtain his/her visa. I dont own the universities in Cyprus, i am in charge of AFRICAN SCHOLARSHIP and admissions in EMU for NOW through the international center of Eastern Mediterranean University so i dont have the RIGHT to work against the university policy. The school do have AGE restrictions, the only thing i can do now is if you can send your CV and a signed letter stating what you have bin doin since that you are now applying for undergraduate with proven evidence then if i see these i will discuss with the Vice rector to see if you can be admitted.

Universities in Northern Cyprus do have age limit of 25years for undergraduate applicant and will not admit applicant above this age from Africa but IF YOU ARE FROM AMERICA YOU MIGHT BE CONSIDER.

You can search some other universities in Hungary, UK, Germany etc that do not have age limit. check tru braintrack.com
