Goddex:E dey pain you o... ga ga ![]() |
Yoruba sons of timber and calibre are all falling inline and embracing the Buhari/Osinbajo project. GEJ just wasted his dollar bribes. |
Barely 48 hours to the Presidential election, the candidate of the Alliance for Democracy, Rafiu Salau, has withdrawn from the contest. Salau announced his decision at a media briefing in Abuja on Friday. He said the AD had adopted the candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Maj. Gen. Mohammadu Buhari(retd.), as its candidate for Saturday’s polls. The AD candidate explained that experience had shown that strong democracies were built with two strong political parties competing for power. He said, “All of you, the 68 million voters, should vote for Gen. Buhari the candidate of the democrats, who will bring change. Vote APC. Show the world that you are in control of your democracy. “You need to emulate the people of the developed democracy of the US and UK. The development of the two countries is because the people of the countries have total control of their democracy. “No matter how good the performance of one party system, it cannot perform up to 10 per cent of a democratic system with at least two strong parties that give the people the opportunity to control their democracy. “ Salau said Nigerians had had enough of one party rule with the Peoples Democratic Party at the helm of affairs, urging the people to come out and vote on election day. http://www.punchng.com/news/ad-candidate-withdraws-from-presidential-race-backs-buhari/ |
Fayose! See your life? Upon all your gra gra you no fit pull off this kind ogbonge endorsement coup for Jonathan, instead you dey waste Ekiti people money on useless newspaper adverts. |
Sai Buhari! There, I said it. Oya make Una pick race na. ![]() |
Under Fayose's nose? ? ? I thought that deranged tyrant/lunatic was an alpha and omega in Ekiti. |
Lamido should shove it jo. We all know exactly how how he really feels about GEJ who is blackmailing him via the EFCC to force him to remain in PDP and support him |
GEJ should forget the SW coz it's effectively a Buhari/APC zone, and by extension he should forget the election coz it's Buhari's to lose. |
GBTYO:This tired and old scare and fear-mongering tactic is played out bro. When will you ever learn that you can't scare or blackmail folks into voting for Jonathan, dang it! |
buharisambisada:He has obviously lost your vote but at the same time gained the votes of millions more. Sorry but your vote ain't enough to derail his inauguration come May. ![]() |
Thanks for the lecture but we don already decide. ![]() |
UrennaNkoli:Nne, you go die better. Nigerians of all shades are rallying around Buhari because Jonathan has given us a strong reason to -- his abysmal incompetence and performance. |
He's welcome to team Chanji. |
This na game-changer for Ondo. Serious coup against Mimiko. His deputy has seen the handwriting that Yorubas are united in their resolve to speak with one voice against Jonathan. The timing na helele. |
Nice move. Welcome to team Change . ![]() |
chiedu7:Guy, you better not kill yourself. Your eye go soon clear. Meanwhile, this must be a huge blow to Mimiko. |
Ok naw. Game on. ![]() |
Many more like him from that whole region will break from primordial sentiments and support the General in his quest to get Nigeria back on track. I salute his courage. |
The OP is obviously very pained and finding it difficult to come to terms with the glaring fact that those against GEJ are way more than are in support of his re-election bid. GEJ should accept full responsibility for the predicament in which he finds himself as he has frittered away the goodwill he once enjoyed from Nigerians. But it's game-over now. |
EUROFIGHTERR:How come FFK isn't as confident as you are? Going as far accusing Jega of being compromised. Even Jonathan himself is not as confident as you are. Your bravado is impressive but you better not deceive yourself, that way you'll be able to better manage the agony of defeat that is about to envelope you and your ilk. |
GEJ thinks the whole world is against him, hence his paranoia against foreign journalists. He better be careful. |
jemype:Abeg talk something else. The revered Awolowo and Zik were over 70 when they last contested in the early 80s so park well abeg. |
edobor108:The thing about them is that even here on Nairaland GMB fans outnumber GEJ supporters by a ratio of 4 to 1 but considering the amount of noise they make here you would think they are more than their actual numbers. Same applies to GEJ. His handlers shout a lot about his so-called transformation, yet it's only the lives of his cronies that are getting transformed. The masses aren't feeling it. |
Imagine? More than double that amount has been spent by Jonathan and his cronies on this election. |
EUROFIGHTERR:Yes, South West Aba you mean. E be like say you don shakup dis early morning ![]() |
Even PEJ knows it. ![]() |
PDP are already cooking up their excuses for contesting Buhari's imminent victory at the elections tribunal. ![]() |
pwettyJasmine:Chai! See finishing. ![]() |
charlos14:Why don't you Jonathan supporters quit whinning and do the same to mitigate your principal's perpetual embarrassment, or is it that you all are too sanctimonious to engage in such a practice, Lol. Or perhaps you are just simply outnumbered by Change agents. Yeye. |
Na one way ticket. |
transformer2019:When you say "we" please put that in context, coz your better be referring to his SS/SE base o, coz the rest of the country aren't buying what you are selling else he wouldn't be fighting for his political life. |
Jonathan only wins "Monkey Surveys". I am yet to come across a single online poll where he's defeated Buhari. Even on the one hosted by his PR guy Reno Omokri on twitter he was utterly and embarrassingly decimated. His handlers and supporters fail to appreciate the level of angst harbored by the majority of Nigerians towards his gov't. |
