PoliticsRe: The Explosion Of Anti-igbo Sentiment Among Yorubas by WisdomFlakes: 6:36pm On Apr 06, 2015
@OP: These are the sort of comments that create problems for some SE brethren such as yourself amongst your hosts -- this supremacist tendencies that you just can't hide. Yorubas aren't fools o, and we know how to put your kind in your place. You were given a brain for a reason, please make use of it.
PoliticsRe: With This Pdp Is Finished.. by WisdomFlakes: 6:06pm On Apr 06, 2015
Don't celebrate yet o, coz they will just collabo with some Inec officials to render the card readers useless so that they can switch to manual accreditation, after which it will be rigging galore.

That was exactly what they did when GEJ tried to get accredited via card-readers in Bayelsa. That was a setup.
PoliticsRe: We Are Going To Screen Those Who May Wish To Join Us In Apc-dr. Chris Ngige by WisdomFlakes: 6:03pm On Apr 06, 2015
They had better start doing that o, lest those failed PDP politicians come and pollute APC.

Yes o. It's time for Lagos to begin to enjoy FG collabo. cheesy grin

Every well-meaning Lagosian must support this Ambo project.

Yes, I agree they should put a freeze on accepting decampees for now.
PoliticsRe: Main Reason Of Lagos Oba Threat To Ibos by WisdomFlakes: 3:47pm On Apr 06, 2015
OP, you are not helping matters. Let us be very careful not to allow these online rhetoric spill offline guys. Take it easy folks coz all this talk could turn into something else. Those trying to divide us will quickly disappear when kasala bursts.

What is happening is that some militant SE brethren who were already going to vote for PDP, in collusion with the Lagos PDP governorship candidate, are desperately playing this divisive ethnic card in a last ditch attempt to swing voters in their favor. But it is clearly dead-on-arrival.

Collynzo9:
See the disjointed story about the Lagoon that the Oba's team concorted to cover their tracks.
Does it make sense?
When in the history of Lagos has the lagoon swallowed people on its own for being against the 'interest of Lagos'? What is the 'interest of Lagos' in the Oba's opinion.
Look here bro, anyone can go ahead and decide which version to believe, and even interpret Riliwan's statement as they please. I see this as an excuse for some militant SE brethren who were already going to vote for PDP to rabble-rouse the public. But be mindful that this won't change the inevitable -- AMBODE It is.
PoliticsRe: Why An APC Victory In Lagos May Not Be A Good Thing. by WisdomFlakes: 3:22pm On Apr 06, 2015
Lagos can't afford to be in opposition any longer. Make Lagos sef enjoy FG collabo, abeg.

Collynzo9:
Be honest with yourself, between this one and the first, which one makes more sense?
They just concorted this statement for damage control.
Just read the disjointed rubbish about the lagoon there and you can tell that it is made up for the sake of damage limitation.
Look here, you can go ahead and do your worst and decide which version to believe, but be mindful that this won't change the inevitable -- AMBODE It is.

PDP's divisive brand of politics, which Jimi seems to have adopted, will always result in failure and rejected by the masses.

Nna, abeg relax. Forget that thing. Nothing will happen to our Igbo brothers. Ambode government go benefit all of us. Na Jimi dey use scaremongering to try get votes. Na so e talk say everywhere go scatter if GEJ lost. Relax bro.

Most of the igbo populated areas in Lagos are under severe neglect after APC elitist policies these past years, what can Ambode do but continue the same neglect and igbos will still thrive. The only other thing Ambode can do is close markets and businesses, but we all know that is like placing an embargo on yourself,no money for Lagos treasury.increase tax,we increase cost of goods and standard of living, who suffers??....we can go on and on...The least Ambode can do right now is damage control -we saw him feature Flavour in one of his TV adverts-but after Akiolu's outburst,we are afraid that ship has since sailed.
Bro, seriously you need to calm down coz I think you take yourself too seriously. This election will come and go and regardless of the outcome your life will continue. Desist from allowing hatred to eat deep into your soul. You sound embittered. Take it easy bro.

We're talking about Lagos here.
So you are telling me igbos love Agbaje more than GEJ? That they will do what they couldn't do for GEJ for Agbaje? Yeah, sure. cheesy

Texcoco:
The founder of TAN is an igbo man,his constituents and major support base are the igbos and the TAN man is aligned with the PDP which coincidentally Agbaje picked his governorship ticket from.Agbaje with Ambode are desperate for igbo votes and if his close working relationship with Ubah is yielding dividends who says what he is doing is wrong?? Afterall Ambode took Osinbade to Alaba recently and nobody raised dust...The igbos have not always concerned themselves with politics in Lagos but with this outburst from Akiolu then it will be safe to say that not only are they angry but are have become mightily interested and Ambode can kiss the few igbos in his votes goodbye after the almost titanic hardwork courting them...Because let us face it,igbos are stubborn and they will vote Agbaje/PDP maybe not to win but to prove a point.
And when Ambode wins, even without Igbo votes, how would you then feel if he choses to become vindictive towards Lagos igbos for not voting for him? Just take it easy with your venom, coz if you live in a glass-house don't throw stones.

dunkem21:
Yeah, wrong.

What do you think of the Oba's message?
If indeed Rilwan said that then he's dead-wrong. But Jimi is doing much worse by inciting igbos and Yorubas against each other, neighbors that have hitherto lived cordially and in peace with one another. That is the characteristic divisive politics that PDP is known for. Jimi's a goner.
PoliticsRe: Jimi Agbaje Should Desist From Making His Mandate An Igbo Agenda by WisdomFlakes: 12:01pm On Apr 06, 2015

Igbo votes alone cannot elect a governor in Lagos, but any candidate Igbos vote enmass wins the race.
And how far did that take GEJ in the last presidential elections?
PoliticsRe: Jimi Agbaje Should Desist From Making His Mandate An Igbo Agenda by WisdomFlakes: 11:47am On Apr 06, 2015
Jimi is apparently adopting the rejected FFK/Fayose divisive strategy, and just like them he is bound to fail. I only implore my Igbo bros not to submit themselves as willing tools in the hands of a rejected PDP.
PoliticsRe: Jimi Agbaje Should Desist From Making His Mandate An Igbo Agenda by WisdomFlakes: 11:06am On Apr 06, 2015
hedonistic:
You're very ignorant. How is Agbaje's candidacy an "Igbo agenda"? The Igbo people in Lagos as a voting bloc express clear preference for Agbaje BECAUSE of their unpleasant experience in the hands of the outgoing APC government in Lagos, how is that Jimi Agbaje's fault? Is Agbaje an Igbo man?

Since Agbaje has declared that his government will treat all persons living in Lagos equally and will not witch-hunt or maltreatment certain groups, is that not enough to endear him to the cosmopolitan people of Lagos which comprises virtually every ethnic group in Nigeria? What then is the point of this foolish thread?

Some of you people are too daft for words to describe.
Even if every single igbo resident in Lagos with a voters card votes for him he will still lose to Ambode. Truth is he shouldn't have come out acting as though they are enough to get him into Alausa, going as far as begging them not to go to the east for Easter. Such insensitivity and lack of tact is enough to rub off wrongly on other Lagosians.

The last presidential elections has shown that ss/se votes alone are inadequate to win important elections in Nigeria.
PoliticsRe: Jimi Agbaje Should Desist From Making His Mandate An Igbo Agenda by WisdomFlakes: 11:04am On Apr 06, 2015
That right there will be his undoing. Not to mention that he's putting the igbos on the spot for all the wrong reasons.

PoliticsRe: Vote Jimi Agbaje A Man With Bold Ideas by WisdomFlakes: 9:52am On Apr 06, 2015
Honestly, I like JK coz he's affable, though am yet to hear about his much-touted bold-ideas. In any case he's in the wrong party. We can't afford PDP using Lagos money to resurrect and oil their comatose machinery. Ko Jo o. Ambo ni o.
PoliticsRe: Re: Igbos Will Perish In The Lagoon by WisdomFlakes: 9:39am On Apr 06, 2015
Calm down everybody. Ambode will definitely win this coming gubernatorial election and a lot of our igbo brothers will vote for him to make it happen not coz Akiolu coerced them to, but coz they know Lagos needs a FG-collabo right now more than ever and will take full advantage of the opportunity.

JK intends to use Lagos money to oil the practically comatose PDP machinery and we Lagosians just aren't having that.

Ambo Ni Jo.

LORDCYBORG:
I'm an Igbo guy but somehow this ur statement is a very sensible and meaningful one, the Oba shouldnt have threatened anyone. An average Igbo man has a lot of wisdom to know you dont make trouble with your hosts in thier land. History will tell you that over and over again.
In my experience, most Igbo Lagosians are loyal and hardworking everyday folks who also want what is best for Lag, even though like every other ethnic nationality they have their militant elements (massob/biafra/no-mans-land advocates). Na we all go follow vote for Ambo.

Ambode will definitely win this coming gubernatorial election and a lot of our igbo brothers will vote for him to make it happen not coz Akiolu coerced them to, but coz they know Lagos needs a FG-collabo right now more than ever and will take full advantage of the opportunity.
