If GEJ is so sure of winning, why then the desperation of the PDP to stop these elections, stop Jega, stop PVC and Card Reader use? Losers.

According to a fellow forumer that goes by the name koaster, I quote:

You are looking at China Yangtze River Hydroelectric Dam.

Construction Cost: $22billion.

Generating Capacity: 22,500 MW.

Commissioned year: 2012.

PDP successive governments said they have invested over $30billion in our power sector in the past 16years. Yet Nigeria's entire Generating Capacity still hovers between 2000 and 3000 Mega Watts.

In China, Communist Party of China got 22,500MW from $22billion Power investment.

In Nigeria, PDP got 1000MW from over $30billion power investment.

A PDP man said their party is not banking on voters tomorrow, but to bribe all the electoral officers in the strongholds of the APC to manipulate the card readers and fix the results of the presidential election.
That has always been their plan: to rig the elections in their favor coz they know Nigerians have rejected them. Very useless bunch.

If you compare the voting pattern of 2003, 2007 and 2011 with respect to Buhari, you will see that nothing has really changed. In 2007 Buhari had 6.6million when he contested against his fellow Northerners scoring 18.72%. Atiku had 2.64m votes (7%), while Yaradua had 24.64m votes (about 70%). In 2003 Buhari contested against a Southern Candidate Obasanjo, he had the same 12 million votes, while Obasanjo had 24.5 million votes. In 2007 AC(Tinubus) supported Atiku yet they couldn't even win the SW... I wonder whether the APC's follow trend...

Jonathan Shall Lead Again
Slow your roll bro. A LOT has since Changed. Enter Card Readers. There's no way in hell GEJ will be getting inflated votes in his SS/SE strongholds as was the case in 2011. If anything, his support base has shrunk significantly -- unless you wanna kid yourself, there's absolutely no way GEJ will be winning the SW this time around, so X that bro.

I don't need to rehash the tales of massing rigging that went down in the SS/SE back then as I believe its now common knowledge.

Quit deceiving yourself bro. I know you're trying really hard to convince yourself that GEJ stands a chance this time around, but I know for a fact even you don't buy your own crap.

wetin change? Bros, if anything changed then it is for GEJ's favor. Contrary to APC's postulation, the NW and NE has never voted in bloc for Buhari(ie 75%) since 2003. What wins election is political structure not political noise. I hope Buhari is ready to come to terms when reality will dawn on him tomorrow.

No I blame the other elites like Barth Nnaji, Funke Osibodu, Alhaji Mutallab etal. PHCN is now in the hands of Private owners not FG. Do you blame FG for MTN and Etisalat non performance or rip of.
Mind you, FG has oversight functions and is responsible for creating an enabling environment and regulation for them to function effectively. Gas pipeline protection for effective gas distribution to the turbines isn't the responsibility of the discos.FG has perpetually failed to adequately secure those vital pipelines.

BY OUR REPORTER ON MARCH 27, 2015 POLITICS

By JOB OSAZUWA

As Nigerians go to the polls tomorrow, political pundits have tipped General Muhammadu Buhari, presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) to defeat President Goodluck Jonathan of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

The pundits all seasoned journalists, made their prediction after two sessions of deliberations at a Presidential Election Roundtable organised by Newsbreak.ng, a broad-spectrum online news medium, which examined issues around the presidential election.

In the debate, they, however, submitted that it would be a close race. This was hinged on their conviction that the six-week shift in date had allowed President Jonathan’s campaign to regain a bit of momentum following the success of the counter-insurgency offensive in the North-Eastern part of the country.

Among those in attendance at the sessions were Ikechukwu Amaechi, a former member of the judges’ panel of CNN/MultiChoice African Journalists of the Year Award and Editor-in-Chief of The Niche; Adekanmi Ademiluyi, Editorial Board Chairman of The Niche, Mojeed Jamiu, former Director-General, Ekiti State Broadcasting Service and Wale Fatade, a columnist with thecable.ng. At both sessions, participants examined a variety of issues around the election, notably the direction the pendulum of victory would swing, readiness of Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), neutrality of the security agencies, quality of public discourse and quality of campaigns of the two major candidates. Others were, where the election would be won or lost, zones with the potentials for combustion and the role of the media in shaping debates around the election.

Buhari was tipped to win in Kwara, Kebbi, Zamfara, Niger, Kaduna, Katsina, Sokoto, Kano, Jigawa, Bauchi, Gombe, Yobe and Borno, while Adamawa called at 50-50 chance. The panel, however, noted that Jonathan would score between 15 and 20 per cent of votes cast in Jigawa, Kebbi, Katsina, Kaduna Bauchi and Gombe states.

Jonathan was tipped to sweep Taraba, Plateau, Benue, and Nasarawa (65 to 35 per cent) because of the huge Christian population in those states. Buhari, the analysts reckoned, would post a decent showing in Taraba and Nasarawa.

The President was tipped to win overwhelmingly in the South-East and South-South zones, which have fewer eligible voters than the North-West and North-East, where Buhari is a cult figure.

The North-East and North-West alone account for 22.6 million of the collected PVCs. If that figure was added, the 9.2 million collected in the South-West, another Buhari stronghold, the sum would be more than half of 54.6million collected nationally.

But seriously though I feel for GEJ. Damn, it must be tough being him right now. I can understand the desperation behind sponsored pronouncements such as this one, but he cant bribe or buy everybody.

Anyone that believes Jonathan can win Lagos, Oyo, Ogun, osun, and kwara needs to have their head examined.
