After 2011 when Buhari won almost all the online poll and still lost by a wide margin I have come to ignore any online poll involving Nigerian election.

I have come to realize that election is not won online.
Is it that GEJ Supporters can't mobilize themselves online to even rig even one single online poll in his favor (and please don't give me any holier than though response) since you all always claim the online polls are always rigged in Buhari's favor.

It can't be that difficult for you all to use multiple emails too as you accuse Buhari's supporters of doing. I am sure you are just as guilty of your own accusations except that you simply lack the mass to compete against Buhari any time, any day, any where. Pathetic losers.

He said on the day of the endorsement, some
people bought turbans at Agege and went to visit
Jonathan at the State House, Marina, posing as emirs
only to deceive the President.
"..but they said they only collected
dollars but they would not vote Jonathan.”
Jonathan is just getting maga'd left and right. Where is he getting all the money he is sharing and using to bribe people? ?

Notice that he is only sharing dollars, after his administration has bastardized d naira finish.

GEJ, your own done finish. You must leave that seat. Ole!

Text of a Press Conference by the APCPCO
Written by Garba Shehu

We just got information that all FRCN stations have been directed to link up for a live interview to be granted by Governor Sule Lamido of Jigawa State about now. The contents of the interview as agreed with Vice President Namadi Sambo and President Jonathan are to essentially damage General Muhammadu Buhari along the following lines:

1. GMB will be a figurehead while Osinbajo will be the de facto president. He will give examples of GMB’s leadership style mentioning Idiagbon (COS-SHQ) and Salihijo (PTF).

2. This situation he will claim is unfair to the North as the South-West will be indirectly getting another term of office as president in addition to the Obasanjo years, so Northerners should not be deceived into voting APC.

A few things we will like to point out to Governor Lamido’s audience members include:
(1) Lamido had been pressured to do the interview because of the EFCC pressure on his sons’ corruption charges.
(2) Lamido has never worked near or with GMB to know his leadership style. Those working closely with him in the APC know otherwise.
(3) When did Lamido become a spokesman for the North?
(4) What did he and other Jonathan apologists negotiate for the North as the SW has been doing with Jonathan in the last two weeks?
(5) Of the millions of the US Dollars that Mr. Jonathan has allegedly been sharing to traditional and religious leaders in the South-West, how much of it did Lamido negotiate and obtain on behalf of the Northern traditional and religious leaders?
(6) As a self appointed Northern interest spokesman, what is his response to the pejorative references made by Mrs. Patience Jonathan about Northerners?
Thank you for listening.

ghananotnaija:
Look at the disproportionate number of people from Lagos who voted, so the poll isn't even close to being accurate; it can only maybe predict the outcome in Lagos state.

No matter what the poll numbers will be, GEJ will win the next election, whether he gets more votes than GMB or not. It's a travesty to democracy, but a blessing to Ghana, because a weak Nigeria under incompetent leadership is in Ghana's fundamental geopolitical interests.

He's even more desperate than GEJ coz his political survival depends on Jonathan's re-election. Politics › Jonathan Administration Sponsoring Ethnic Militias To Disrupt Elections – APC by WisdomFlakes(op): 4:23pm On Mar 15, 2015
The All Progressives Congress (APC) has accused the Jonathan Administration of sponsoring ethnic militias to foment trouble before, during and after the forthcoming general elections, saying the 9 billion Naira recently paid out to some ex-militants and ethnic militias is aimed at mobilizing them to scuttle the polls.

In a statement in Lagos, Sunday, by its National Publicity Secretary, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, the party said the protests by MASSOB last week seeking the sack of INEC Chairman Attahiru Jega was orchestrated by the Administration as part of its continuing efforts to sabotage the elections.

The party expressed sadness that a President who inherited a united nation has done everything he can to divide the country along ethnic and religious lines, including patronizing ethnic militias who serve no other purpose than to champion sectional interests at the expense of national unity.

It wondered why President Jonathan would pay 9 billion Naira to a handful of people at a time of great economic downturn and falling Naira, as well as in a situation in which many states cannot even afford to pay their workers because of dwindling allocation from the Federation Account.

”A profligate government that has been bribing people with dollars and ferrying huge funds around practically to buy votes has outdone itself by paying out all of 9billion Naira to a few Nigerians, with less than three weeks to the elections. Shortly after the payment, some self-serving groups started organizing protests that, for all intents and purposes, are being orchestrated to scuttle the polls. This is a shameful show by the federal government,” APC said.

MARCH 15, 2015 : BAYO AKINLOYE

The Northern Traditional Rulers Council has expressed confidence in the ability of the Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission, Prof. Attahiru Jega, to lead the electoral body in conducting free, fair and transparent elections ahead of the March 28 and April 11 polls.

The northern rulers also said it would neither endorse the Peoples Democratic Party’s presidential candidate, President Goodluck Jonathan nor its All Progressives Congress opponent, Maj. Gen. Muhammadu Buhari (retd.), for president.

This was contained in a statement on Saturday by the Etsu Nupe, Dr. Yahaya Abubakar, after the NTRC met in Kaduna on Wednesday to discuss the rising “social and political tension” in the country as the general elections approach.

The statement was published as an advertorial in some national newspapers on Saturday.

The Chairman of the council, the Sultan of Sokoto, Muhammad Sa’ad Abubakar, and the other traditional rulers in attendance noted that the country must conduct peaceful and credible polls.

“The council noted the dire need for the emergence of free, fair and credible elections and resolved to lend a helping hand to the statutory body established to oversee the conduct of the elections that is INEC. The council equally commended the good work being done by INEC under the able leadership of Prof. Attahiru Jega and prayed for the success of INEC’s worthy assignment,” the NTRC said.

It also stated that the nation was going through serious challenge and called on the country’s statesmen not to act as politicians.

“These challenges, coming at the current stage of the nation’s development have to be addressed very carefully and responsibly. In these circumstances, the country needs statesmen more than mere politicians, for these challenges call for reflective and strategic leadership. Therefore, the council calls on the statesmen in the country to come forward and appreciate the need to act like statesmen so as to take the country out of the doldrums.

“As fathers of the nation and custodians of societal values, traditional rulers shall remain neutral and shall ensure that peace reigns. But the traditional rulers need the cooperation of the political leadership,” the statement said.

The traditional rulers based in the North also condemned the unrestrained verbal attacks among politicians, saying their unguarded statements are worsening the current situation of the country.

“Unfortunately, some religious and ethnic leaders have joined the bandwagon thereby making matters worse. The vocabulary used and absence of respect and decorum in the campaigns is particularly disturbing for it tends to initiate the younger generation into a culture of incivility and insolence. It will be sad and tragic if this is all the political leadership is able to bequeath to posterity.

“Traditional rulers cannot watch and fold their hands while the values of the society are torn to pieces and sacrificed on the altar of political ambitions. The council was also immensely disturbed by the kind of exchanges that tend to inflame passions and provoke conflicts constituting a clear breach of the peace,” the NTRC stated.

The northern rulers pointed out that they would do their part within the law to ensure politicians do not destroy the country in their desperation for power, adding that many citizens may have to bear the brunt of the crisis that may occur.
