Well, as for me, I have tasted 6 years of transformation soaked in the blood of over 10,000 Nigerians. And fresh air don turn to foul air. So yeah, am ready and in fact the whole country is overripe for CHANGE.

It will be suicidal and hellish to reward incompetence with 4 more years of pure HELL!

I recommend that henceforth, Buhari be referred to as Mr. Buhari until he has proven he meritoriously earned the title “General”.
Thankfully your opinion, while you are entitled to it, doesn't count.

Like they say, "opinions are like butt holes, everybody's got one".

Crowd or no crowd, Buhari is a corrupt fellow who rose to his rank of General in Nigeria Army without adequate qualification.
He has Bokoharam's ideology and Nigerians totally rejects you.

Dapada! Back to sender! You don't speak for all Nigerians! Make that IGBOS -- we know a lot of you still have civil war loss hangover so you detest anything Hausa. So speak for yourself and folks alone!

The overwhelming majority of yorubas have pitched their tent with GMB & there's nothing you can do about that.

Politics › BREAKING: Shagari Denies Endorsing Jonathan by WisdomFlakes(op): 11:09am On Jan 21, 2015
The family of former Nigerian President Shehu Shagari has debunked a statement credited to the elder statesman that he has endorsed President Goodluck Jonathan for second term.

In a statement released by one of the ex-president’s sons, Muhammad Bala Shagari, the family frowned at the report concorted by a pro-Jonathan newspaper that claimed that Mr. Shagari had endorsed the incumbent president and condemned Muhammadu Buhari’s candidature as the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

According to the statement, “I’d like to inform the general public and concerned citizens of this country that the speech that was credited to His Excellency Alhaji Shehu Shagari, GCFR (Turakin Sokoto) by some media agencies and online news blogs in which His Excellency was reported to have endorsed President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan and commending his government for some achievements is nothing but a blatant lie. And we’ve condemned it in strong terms,” said the former president’s son.

I believe it's become quite glaring that GEJ and his handlers have become so desperate that his achievements are inadequate to win him the needed votes outside his clannish SS/SE strongholds (whose combined voting strength isn't enough to get him re-elected), so their strategy is to force-feed & try to blackmail the rest of us -- whom they derogatorily label as slaves for clamouring for change -- with irrelevant garbage in order to distract us from the real issue here which is simply that GEJ is a failed leader who is bent on destroying this great country. FA FA FA Fowl!!!! (in the voice of Zebrudaya)

http://www.thisdaylive.com/articles/security-agencies-to-deploy-360-000-operatives-for-elections/199510/

No fewer than 360,000 security personnel will be deployed to ensure that the 2015 general election is violence-free.

To this end, the security agencies have assured of their preparedness for the conduct of the general election.

The Inspector General of Police (IGP), Suleiman Abba, disclosed this while speaking to journalists at the end of a 2-day conference with the theme: Nigeria 2015 Elections and Beyond: Roles of State and Non-State Actors in Mitigating Violence in Elections.

According to him, about 300,000 of his officers have been trained in partnership with the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and development partners.

Commandant General (CG), Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Prof. Ade Abolurin disclosed that 60,000 of his officers will also partake in securing life and properties during the election.

The event was organized by a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO), Savannah Centre for Diplomacy, Development and Democracy (SCCD) and Centre for Strategic and International Studies (SCIS) at the weekend in Abuja.
Why can't all these security agents be deployed to fight Boko Haram?? 360,000 agents would overwhelm those gangsters. Or is it only during elections that this govt. sees it fit to deploy full-blown security forces?
Politics › PDP Has Reduced Nigeria To Laughing Stock – Oshiomhole by WisdomFlakes(op): 8:59pm On Jan 18, 2015
Governor Adams Oshiomhole of Edo State says the ruling Peoples’ Democratic Party at the federal level has reduced Nigeria to a laughing stock in the comity of nations with its ineptitude to provide basic amenities and fight insurgency.

Speaking at two mega rallies of the All Progressives Congress held at Auchi in Edo North and Irrua in Edo Central, weekend, Oshiomhole said when the PDP took the reins of governance in 1999, the country had 774 Local Government areas, but as we speak, close to thirty of those local government areas are being controlled by insurgents.

According to him, it is time to ask yourselves; in 16 years of PDP leadership, what has PDP government produced? For 16 years, they gave us darkness. No light, yet they keep bringing bills. They produced unemployment; our companies have all closed down. If the Federal Government does not have good industrial policy, unemployment will continue to be here. So PDP brought unemployment. PDP government brought kidnapping to our country. There was no single case of kidnapping before 1999, PDP brought kidnapping.

Does who neglect history I bound to repeat it!

Buhari's emergence as head of state after sacking a duly elected civillian administration was greeted with cheers from that same region that has chosen to pitch tent with him.

It was this same region that will later groan under the jack boot and whip of a Buhari dictatorship and will also dance on the streets after Buhari was overthrown by IBB.

We can not afford another repeat of such magnanimous disaster.

Nigerians who support Buhari will not have the same patience for a super eagles player who played badly in his last outing, why then will you want to gamble with this tested failure?
It's all good bro. God bless Nigeria.
Politics › Re: Buhari And His Herds Of Cattle Followers by WisdomFlakes: 3:28pm On Jan 18, 2015
BackDatAssUp:
Buhari was tried, tested and then booted out by the same class of officers he staged the coup with.

If he could be rejected by his inner circle as being incompetent then that should be a pointer of him not being credible.
Dude, the mere fact that GEJ, as an INCUMBENT for that matter, is currently having sleepless nights, struggling, and facing an impending loss at the polls, against a one-time 'coupist' (whom he's defeated in a previous election) speaks VOLUMES and is an INDICTMENT on his failure as a once popularly elected leader, and quite frankly shyts on your whole argument. If anything, Buhari was toppled in a coup by rivals in the military, but this time around I predict he'll defeat GEJ, come February 14th.

Iraq and Syria have lossed sizeable chunks of territory to ISIS and it took NATO bombings and ground troops to push them back!

Boko Haram have been contained in the northeast states of Yobe, Borno and Adamawa. Other than Borno and parts of Yobe, Boko Haram have been constrained to these regions without the help of western forces who even went ahead to even frustrate our attempt at getting much needed military supplies. The war on Boko is a war on terror but the US and EU have refused to help us. We are on our own.
I tell you, the mere fact that GEJ has mismanaged this country's security so badly that we are mentioned today alongside such failed states as Iraq and Syria, under his watch, is enough reason for him to lose the upcoming elections. Enough of the excuses as to why he can't obtain weapons -- that's gotta be the scam of the decade! Enough of the excuses for failure already. Please! If he and his supporters can claim credit for building new Universities, refurbishing airports, e.t.c., he should be man enough to own up to his failure to protect the territorial integrity of this country he was elected to serve and protect, or better still, resign.

Personally, I'll admit to you that GEJ has performed relatively better than his predecessors (i actually think he's a nice guy), but I will not excuse his failure when it comes to Nigeria's security. That, to me, is non-negotiable. And that's the ONLY reason why he's lost my vote. I'm done here bro.

I said sell me Buhari without blaming or mentioning Jonathan.

Tell me what he has to offer.

Tell us how he will solve issues and not who to blame for whatever.

Please review your post.

Assume you are Buhari and having a live national debate with other candidates will you blame Jonathan to sell your agenda?
Perhaps you should've read up to the last paragraph. But since you seem too lazy to go that far, I'll repeat myself: Buhari on the other hand is tried and tested. Right now, more than anything, we need to regain our territories from Boko Haram and annihilate them. Buhari's no stranger to dealing with terrorists, and commands a level of respect that GEJ can only dream of.

Politics › Re: Buhari And His Herds Of Cattle Followers by WisdomFlakes: 2:48pm On Jan 18, 2015
Just one argument should settle this. As we speak, a sizable portion of Nigeria is in the hands of a bunch of murderous gangsters/terrorists, UNDER GEJ's watch. Under his watch, $500million dollars were lost to a botched (scam?) negotiation deal with the terrorists (the height of incompetence and buffoonery, if you ask me)

That to me is a failure of leadership right there. If a leader is decisive and leads by example, it'll trickle down.

FACT: GEJ is WEAK. And this much is also reflecting in his subordinates. This country is too big and complex to be left in the hands of someone of such character.

At this rate, the next 4 years will be HELLISH for this country if he remains in power for another 4 years, security-wise, coz he's demonstrated thus far that he's clueless as to how to tackle Boko Haram. All his other achievements don't amount to much to me with this nagging Boko Haram menace. Northerners are Nigerians too, so their lives should count.

Buhari on the other hand is tried and tested. Right now, more than anything, we need to regain our territories from Boko Haram and annihilate them. Buhari's no stranger to dealing with terrorists, and commands a level of respect that GEJ can only dream of.

Who is OP fooling? People's mind are already already made up for and against GEJ. All I know is that you can't give what you ain't got. GEJ may be a "bobo nice". But a decisive leader he's not.

The next 4 years will be pure HELL at this rate if he's re-elected. I know all I need to know about Buhari and am voting for him regardless of your propaganda. It's the undecided folks that'll fall for this bullcraap.
