Inspired-M all the way. |
The first time i met Inspired was when i gave him a cheque to cover the initial payment. He drove to his office in a 2005 M. Benz kompressor pre ordered by a nairalander to meet me. Because i wanted a 1999/2000 model, i wondered if the car he will get for me will be as clean as what he drove. He did erase my "unbelieve" with time. Oga inspired, pls upload pictures to explain better. I look forward to doing business with you again soon. Keep up the good work. |
It's amazing how we sometimes underestimate our capabilities. hunkenstei:Above is a clue of what to expect. What then justifies paying five thousand naira to a fellow human being to obtain past questions that may not be repeated? The invite was sent out on time. Even the venue is a clue on its own. You now know its a computer based test. If u really want to emerge victorious in this test, you should not just read GMAT, GRE etc, also put in some effort towards discovering how best u can deliver within time limit in a computer based test. It is not entirely the same thing with paper based test. Trust me, even the screen, mouse and keyboard may pose its own challenges. So spend that money on creating a similar environment and see how fast u can read, comprehend and provide accurate answers. You might be surprised at your discoveries. Very few people fail affect they have genuinely prepared for the task ahead. Good luck guys. |
Seun, Good job. Each nairalander should verify vacancies before applying. |
I don't know about the recruitment company, but i know you have an opinion about the company and the invitation. So am asking, what is your opinion? That way you can be better advised. |
First thing first, you did not post this for us to advice you on whether to resign or not. You did this because you want us to succeed or fail in convincing you to take risk(s). Risk(s) requires complete evaluation before you take it or them as the case may be. If you have not fully evaluated the situation at hand, making any decision based on what we say here will either hunt you or make you come back and say a big thank you. I will suggest you do a thorough evaluation of the new proposal and what you stand to gain from your current job (i am concerned about skills you can develop). Always remember, how relevant a skill is depends on how relevant you made/make it. My brother, you have to work on developing skills that will make you relevant in the present nigeria. That way, you may unseat your boss. |
You are not alone. I got the same sms twice for different time schedule. It is obvious it's a job for the presently unemployed, cos i don't understand why u send sms out by 11am requesting the person to be in apapa by 12:30pm ![]() |
Insight has gotten back to successful candidates, apologizing for the mix up and inviting them for an interview on the same sat. 22nd but diff. time. I suggest you relax. They will send yours soon. |
expect anything. their pattern is not fixed (i am referring to all media houses) |
@ aremuu what time is the interview? you may have to prepare for computer based puzzles. that was what media reach gave me during an interview i had with them. i believe media houses dont have fixed interview pattern |
@ Mogambe I didn't take the test for just one company, but i promise to inform the house if i secure any job through the GSE score. |
I am happy union bank paid for my GSE exam, cos i have wanted to write the exam, but i don't believe its proper i pay for it. On saturday, i did the test and, believe me, the controlled environment is enough for any candidate to score high percentage. The exam itself is easy, u only have to deal with time cos u don't have much of it there. I suggest Dragnet get more companies to pay for candidates cos in all fairness, its the most organized test i have written and i recommend all fresh graduate (sponsored by companies) should take it. |
I agree with pennywise. As much as degrees (regardless of where it was obtained) don't dazzle employers in Nigeria, experience, especially outside this country (UK and USA topping the list) makes them want to find out what you have that made the company offer you a place. So i will advice you try and get a job in an asset management firm, work atleast for a year there. I believe you may reconsider after you have practiced for a year there cos the working conditions there and here is not the same. But if you still want to come back, i bet you, the core asset management companies in Nigeria will scramble for you. |
You have to take a critical and objective look at this issue u just raised. It all depends on how much u have put in towards securing a job. You have tried ur best i believe, but the truth is that u are the only person that can answer that question. If u have a HR guru, pls contact him/her and plainly tell him/her what u have done towards securing a job (ur performance in apt. test and interview being the main focus here) then listen to the professional advice he/she has for you. Then go on ur knees and continue praying to the God u serve. Not forgetting ur books. You can consider going for a higher degree while u wait. Just equip urself with the necessary skills required in this age and time. I wish u better luck next time. Have u considered self employment? |
when i wrote mine (organised by work force), it was just questions they lifted from 2006 GMAT. Its about true, false, uncertain and graphic interpretation. Put ur mind to succeeding and i promise u, you will make it. |
It depends on the bank, some banks processes ur application faster if its hard copy, banks like ETB, Firstinland, UBA, Oceanic etc while some deals with strictly soft copies of ur CV, banks like GTB, Zenith etc. So i will advice that u submit ur CV both soft and hard copies to the HR office of any bank u are interested in two months before u complete ur NYSC. |
Hello Gamine, Why do u want me to take PHB? I will appreciate ur reasons. |
Hello Shyshina, I want to find out if you went to PHB office and what the out come was? |
Thanks u all for your response/advice. I will definitely consider them. When i make my decision ii will let u all know. Once again, thank you. |
u can assume, fine, but i will advice u wait until u hear from them. U can prepare for the interview so u will be ready when ever they contact u regardless of the nature of response u got. |
Hello house, I have come to you with a request. I have a slight challenge. I have to make a decision between these two banks soon and i want the house to help me out here with constructive reasons please. I will appreciate all posts on this. Thank u all while i anticipate ur response |
