Politics › Re: Breaking: Niger Delta Avengers, The Real Issue Is Buhari – Says Asari Dokubo by wisov(m): 3:32am On May 28, 2016 |
Veery clever tinkinjow: So thoughtless! When civil servants stop seeing their salaries; when your schools and universities start closing down; when everything comes to a standstill, you will get the message. Today I talked to a seemingly informed south western man and to my surprise he said if he were Buhari he'd abandon the bomb pipes for the niger deltas to suffer as lagos now has oil. Can u imagine? The man lacks the very basics. Most Nigerians, whenever oil discovery is mentioned, jump in hurah. None stop to ask what quantity. It is pitiable that this man doesn't know that his salary WILL soon stop if these attacks continue.... It's pathetic we go to school but know nothing - even the very basic economics. Some states have already shut down, though unofficially following prevailing financial situation. An example of what ll happen if these bombings continue is Zimbabwe. With no foreign exchange the naira will soon become worthless trying to chase few dollars setting off a runaway inflation. .....NIGERIA IS IN DIRE STRAITS and the situation demands constructive engagement of these agitators as fighting them will always end in a lose lose situation. Yaradua was no fool. I watch some guys engaged on this issue on TVC and they seem to be in agreement that an attempt to use force is likely to backfire. They warned. In any case a use of force can't work cos there's no one standing in front of you. So if you say use of force it's a way of declaring war on innocents. One can always imagine the aftermath considering where we are right now. |

Wat is dis one saying LONGFUELCUE: Frankly speaking, since Anambra state is not on that list, and Oshiomole made the first five, it is a mushroom organized body.
What did Oshiomole do in Edo state? Resurfaced the roads in Benin city at exorbitant rates? Created YES programme that has been politics all the way? With "Oshiomole police" that harassed people up till the time he disbanded them claiming he had given orders for their dissolution long ago, and has failed to prosecute any one of them till date.

Day by day the non-biafrans are getting worried about our secession, they come up here each day to give we Biafrans reasons why we wouldn't survive a day on our own, we know it's not going to be a smooth sail for us, buh wah happened to the word survival, and you can quote me anytime "the igbos can survive anywhere, even without oxygen on the moon", we believe there's always a way round the edge. If you come up here to tell me i'll be landlocked if I leave, and you expect that to scare me you've got to try again, tell me something like every money we make wud disappear mysterious back it up with fact just then we might be scared, buh even if you shield the sun from us, we'd make another sun, bring us darkness we'll go bat mode, Nigeria wants to take our happiness, we're making a new haven(Biafra).

U shuld tune in to bloomberg now, u will have a clear explanation! I saw it yesterday on the same bloomberg, deve bn repeating it! Most of d pple above who said it due to shortfall of production in Nigeria are right. But its simple to understand, lol y do u nid somuch explanation! fiizznation: You are right at some point but I think you should have considered the future of oil. Don't forget that the ongoing market share cold war that is currently raging is all about conventional and unconventional oil. Gulf nations have already lost full control of oil prices due to their own inability to foresee changes in the oil industry dynamics and how oil is changing forms geographically, geologically, chemically and economically which the unconventional oil represents. I think Oil prices today are controlled by the discovery of this unconventional oil, though I also don't like the shale oil and other stuffs, but the reality we all have to accept is that the gear has changed hands. Imperialists are now determining the prices of oil.
At some point I just lost interest in this whole "oil prices" argument because you can see how some "intellectual people" started throwing shades at me. Well whatever the case might be, I still think I have learned one or two things from your own points.

Can you go back to the topic and tell me why he made a u-turn to devalue naira after massturbating with Yuan and asking for loan.
I question his decision making and integrity.
A then presidential candidate said there is nothing like subsidy and then all of a sudden he starting paying it.
A man who said he will make N1= 1$ has now agreed on $290 even after saying on several occasion that he won't devalue it.

Don't mind dem! Dis d worst dey can do,lament on all media, plus support dia evil brothers in d creek Sweetlemon: What I don't get is the way people talk as if Buhari is the cause of this present economic woes. This thing started precisely in late 2013/early 2014. I got a much better job somewhere, a financial house, but was later told that the recruitment was cancelled because of the failing economy and the company wanted to "restructure". This was Jan 2014. So what is the noise of Buhari this and that for? You guys have no idea at all how much dollars was passed around during that 2015 elections, no idea at all. After all that please tell me why and how there won't be dollar scarcity? Don't forget this dollars are taken out of the country to foreign bank accounts o. I still remember the worst fuel scarcity ever in Nigeria which was in April/May 2015. I still remember how almost ALL institutions and companies were shutting down, as in if Nicon hotel, media houses can shut down, then you know that wahala dey. So what's the noise of Buhari this and that for pls? Abeggi!
Sometimes I wish GEJ won the elections just so we can see how he would have handled falling oil prices in an oil-dependent economy with the massive looting in his administration. |
