He is 💯% correct. Lagos is not the only State in Nigeria. Nigerians should focus on holding their respective leaders, in their States, to account. |
givedemwotowoto:You guys make me laugh. Reclaim Nigeria and hand to who? Atiku or Obi? What joke. It is not happening. Ordinary Nigerians are like toddlers who don't know what is best for them. Leaders know what is best for Nigeria. That is why they are all behind Tinubu and will ensure they spend and do everything to help him return. |
DomPerignon:Indeed. This is why they did not offer any words at all over the trial of Kanu, a British citizen, in Nigeria. As far as they are concerned , criminal conduct, anywhere in the world, should have legal consequences. |
1Alex:Not all Nigerians are jealous of Yorubas. It is a specific set of people. Yorubas, relatively, have got there affairs together as far as Nigeria goes. Most Nigerians like them and that is why they migrate to Yoruba land the most of all regions of our nation. The people I am talking about are the megalomaniacs who believe they are superior to others but are always rattled by how Yorubas have sophistication, are achievers and, by all indices, the most important of the four major ethnic group of Nigeria i.e Yorubas, Igbo, Hausa and Fulanis. I am talking facts here. Ironically, same lot are all over Yoruba land as well yet always talking negatively about Yorubas.
|
Odin13:Senseless rambling as usual. |
MASTAkiLLAh:So.many of you are adults who are like kids. I am making a statement of fact which is that, of six geo political zones of Nigeria, the SW and SS are the most socio-economically important to our nation and the world. |
Rutherford2019:Lol. You people are obsessed with stating that Yoruba land is gone daily because you are envious and petty people very jealous of the Yorubas.and committed to wishing the worst for them while Yorubas don't have your time. The SW and SS are the premier regions of Nigeria giving our nation life and semblance of nationhood. If Yoruba land is gone, then what remains of Nigeria? When will you people gain the capacity to be like other adults worldwide who respect facts and reality? |
DomPerignon:Absolutely. |
Ttalk:Lol. They never think before they rush to talk. Tinubu should sit, Emperor-like, depriving States of their constitutionally assured allocation to run their affairs? Na wa for these guys. Next minute they will tell they and their fake messiah Obi have the solution for improving Nigeria. |
ThreadManDennis:Foreign reserve increase can never come at the expense of States and local governments having money to run their affairs. All Nigerians live in a State or a local Government of Nigeria. The tiers of Nigerian governance is Federal, State and local Government. Any revenue of Nigeria must be disbursed to all tiers per the sharing formula. It is as simple as that. The best way to increase per capita income, foreign reserve, GDP output and other socio-economically positive indices is through aggressive focus to move Nigeria away from being a mono-economy lazily focused on our oil and gas endowment alone. We have to develop so many other sectors that can make us wealthy and secure. We must invest in creating the best-educated and trained human resources in Africa if possible. Massively upscale our capacity to produce more goods the world wants. Refine our agriculture, since we have verdant land and good climate, to produce food produce the world will buy from us daily and profitably. Improve the travel and tourism sector capacity to be a serious contributor to the Nigerian economy. Etc, etc, etc. Literally a thousand things we can be doing to grow Nigeria's capacity to to make far more money, lift many out of poverty and conquer the biggest problems facing our nation. What is fundamentally untenable is for the FG to arbitrarily commandeer revenue due to States and Local Governments under any excuse at all. |
@OP Obi is not very 'bright' so do not expect too much from him. He is a glorified trader. Nothing more. |
DomPerignon:They are all glorified traders bro. Critical thinking, always suspect. Everything is hustling, selling and building abandoned Village mansion. |
Eba50:Ok na. Na wahala. Jan 2027 isn't far. |
Powerbandooo:You envy rapists? 😲 |
HacheNoire:Lol 😅🤣🤣 |
Eba50:Lol. You guys make me laugh. Edo State is 100% for PBAT. Okpebolo isn't joking around. |
LordIsaac:They are dreamers. Even as Tinubu is secure at home, the international community is completely and solidly behind him also. I'd like to see the miracle Atiku or Obi wish to pull off. Me personally, never emotional because being pragmatic is a strenght while being emotional is a huge disadvantage. That is how Obidients are. Ridiculously emotional and ignorant. Atiku fans are harder to work out because they aren't really vocal and don't shout online. We can even set up a Nairaland bet lottery for and against Tinubu election win or loss. Joint Winners takes all. I will drop 1 million in it. Hopefully we can swell it to at least 10 million if we start now. Obidient and Atikulate should put their money where their mouth. Wanting Tinubu to lose is allowed but underestimating his capacity, influence and reach, that Atiku and Obi do not have, is idiotic. |
Counterigbolies:I just don't understand how emotional some of these guys can get. Tinubu lose how? 31 or so Governors? Who is Atiku or Obi today in comparison to power Tinubu has home and abroad currently? |
Validated:Lol. You lot are always emotional in thinking and assessment. All money possible will bе deployed and Tinubu will win comfortably. We will refer back to this thread at the end of January Insha Allah. |
thesolutions:Indeed. Ignorant and uninformed assumption also. The President cannot commandeer allocation meant for other tiers of Government because such is illegal and unconstitutional. |
@OP. Lol. This is why we ask some of you to think before you rush to post your ignorant opinions publicly. Tinubu can withhold allocation to Governors, head of an independent tier of Nigerian Government, how?
|
yarimo:Lol. You know what they say na. "Once a boy boy always a boy boy" i.e Obi. Even clasped hand in that picture like a house boy or servant addressing his master. |
DrAkpa:Lol. Keep dreaming. |
Naijahero1:We all must be brave and responsible to demand Northerners in the NC and NW end insecurity or join Niger Republic and their Sahel nation affiliates. How is it not clear the North, leaders and followers, is in bed with terror which is the main reason insecurity they are causeinf Nigeria is not ending? It is not everything about Kanu I reject. His approach of fighting crime with criminality and murder is what I reject. Nigeria, if our human resources is of the right calibre, can unite to take the North to task and demand they shape up or ship out. Can they really stop the South breaking away if we unite to tell them we are fed up of their murderous brigandage of Nigeria? |
Naijahero1:Stop looking for individual saviours. When Nigerians develop the brain to agitated unitedly and dedicatedly for the right thing I will be there. |
Jakumo:Precisely Jakumo. This is why I said above that these people love being economical with the truth. Was Kanu leading a group of saints and boys scout or illiterate cultists, murderous killers, sadistic thugs and cannibals? |
Naijahero1:You guys like being economical with the truth. I will never say everything about Kanu and his agitation is wrong.Yet his methods was. Many innocent folks died as a result of Kanu's approach to arm illiterate lacking the psychological profile and education to be responsible, measured and humane. You do not use crime to fight crime. What Nigeria must do is stop playing politics and rise up to make pertinent demand from leaders so the like of Kanu, VDM, Adeyanju etal, very flawed individuals, are not put in the position of being the saviours of over 230 million people in the the biggest black nation on Earth. Kanu, I personally believe is sincere but misguided and unbalanced. Whereas the likes of VDM, Adeyanju etal are just opportunists looking for ways to become popular and cash out. Ordinary Nigerians must take more responsibility for uncompromisingly demanding the changes they want or risk the chance of unfit and opportunistic elements like VDM and Adeyanju, presenting themselves as saviours when they have ulterior motives. The biggest problem of Nigeria is poor human resources that does not know how to use "amandla awethu" , people power, to force leaders to deliver. |
helinues:No face off. It's the truth. I am a parent and my talk is no different to how parents understand the concept of giving children tough love so they do not derail. "Spare the rod and spoil the child". How many are these marauders really in a nation of 230 million? USA even put their number at 30,000 recently. It is what the rest of Nigeria is failing to do, to tackle the gross and murderously disruptive behaviour of the North, that is the problem. We have the numbers and power to force the North to do the right thing if only we have a population with the right mindset to do that. I cannot play politics too much even as I understand Tinubu must continue. At some stage truth has to be said when too much human blood is being shed. It is disheartening to see Nigerians dying like this at the hands of miscreants who cannot be more than 50k in number max and are mainly illiterates and savages wasting many Nigerians who are valuable human resources. The North must be taken to task. Virtually non of their leaders are taking responsibility for the problem their youths are causing Nigeria. It is a conspiracy of blackmail and the South needs to be resolute and uncompromising demanding solutions from them. The USA civil war, as an example, was between North and South over the abolition/preservation of slavery. Yes many died but it was needed to get America where she is today and Nigeria cannot avoid a similar face-off against the North that does not wish to be progressive or responsible. Meaning they will drag us all down if we take them to task.
|
To me, as an exposed and well-travelled person, I believe Nigerian adults are some of the most irresponsible and least critical-thinking in the world. Always emotional and incapable of pragmatic vision. The solution to insecurity is obvious. We must take the North to task. Northerners, leaders and followers, are all in bed with terror. Looking at issues logically, the SW is not behind terrorism or banditry. Yet SW leaders moved sincerely to commit finance and legislative effort towards birthing Amotekun to fight terror the North was importing to our region. When are we going to unitedly demand Northern leaders show same level of commitment to resolve the problems their people are causing for Nigeria? We even have Southerners working for Atiku to be President instead of demanding he take responsibility for the insecurity his people are causing. They will create Hisbah to destroy alcohol and prevent men and women sharing public transport. Yet, where is their effort at community security to identify and neutralise the evil ones amongst them dealing death and terror if the region is really against the horror? Have we all not seen videos of terrorists being guarded by policemen in the North and recieving chieftaincy titles or riding in convoys of literally hundreds of bikes through Northern towns being celebrated like heroes? El Rufai will come out and admit he paid Fulani bandits to refrain from killing Nigerians. Should he not be organising effort to wipe out those evil killers? Do Nigerians not see the obvious? Evil is supported well and pervasive in the North today. Which Yoruba Governor will pay Yoruba terrorists to stop killing in the SW? OPC alone will deal with them because Yorubas are not aberrant like that or ideoligically and codedly in bed with terror. The issue we are not confronting is that Northerners, leaders and followers, are all in bed with terror. If they support terrorism, meaning they are abetting it rather than fighting to defeat it, the rest of us cannot defeat terrorism ever. We can only protect ourselves. I don't know how Nigerians don't get this simple concept to continue thinking one man, the President, can wave a magic wand to end terrorism. |
Ultimately and inevitably, the North and South will seperate so Northerners, leaders and followers, who all appear to be in bed with terror can go and join their terrorist Sahel affiliates of Niger Republic, Mali, Burkina Faso, Chad etal. It is going to happen. Only a question of time. Northern Nigeria, especially their born-to-rule leaders, cannot read the mood in the room to note the world is getting fed up of the trouble they are causing Nigeria. Especially because they are of relatively neglible value with the SS and SW being the regions the world see as trading and productive assets. |
