Yet they will always insist they are victims and all others are villains. |
Ezeama400:Lol. Some of you are comical. Do you know the deep and crazy damage Buhari and his crew did that only critical reforms can repair? Do you even have knowledge to be aware Buhari sold Nigerian crude oil to be supplied in future by Tinubu whereas him and Malami, Emefiele had collected the money at source thus reneging responsibility to the incoming government? What most of you don't know, and don't attempt to try and research, is what is killing Nigeria. That is why you believe Buhari government is more desirable than the PBAT Goverment trying to reverse the damage Buhari did literally printing trillion and bankrolling cronies to the extent Emefiele can create a property estate with over 700 units while charge and bail lawyer Malami is likely a billionaire today in dollars. |
Further proof Tinubu is the best yet the usual suspects will tell you he did nothing. |
chopnaira:100% correct. |
Streetinvestor2:Grow up. |
lawani:Well-said. Nigerian leaders, because many are about what they wish to eat, have made most Nigerians Ostriches who bury their head in the sand. We are very different. We managed fake 'one Nigeria' unity for decades but that Chicken has come home to roost. We must now talk honestly with each other to agree to disagree. Let everyone go and live how they wish to. Recognising we are different, is the beginning of understanding how we can live together peacefully. |
Mrexcell:Well-said. No Nigerian annoys me more than those saying Governors will abuse State Police. Nigerians are dying like chickens daily, innocent children are being kidnapped. Teachers beheaded. Women raped and violated by bandits and terrorists. Yet some are talking of Governors abusing State police? How many serious political opponents do most Governors have? Pata pata 20 or so. How foolish is it to say state Policing should not arrive because a Governor will bully 20 to 30 of his politician rivals yet thousands of Nigerians are being killed by opportunist savages? |
Umahi. Super Minister. Carry go. |
Freshtruth:I wonder how long it will take these messiah worshippers to note Obi is empty. There are rules to almost every aspect of life including leadership. There is no way to turn Obi into an effective leader with propaganda, revisionism and deceit. The records of his failing are there and documented for all intelligent and critical thinking Nigerians to see. If we list ten essential qualities effective and transformational leaders must have, I can assure Obi will lack every single one of the ten. |
Parachoko:That guy is a typical enemy of solutions once such is coming from those he hates ethno-religiously. Of course State/regional policing is the answer. Compartmentalizing police forces is now crucial because of Nigeria's size, peculiarity of States and the decay to the NPF that has now made it essentially worthless. One thing State policing will do is immediately raise standards of policing and promote healthy competition. Lagos, for example, will lead and set standard with tech and intel-driven policing. States with well-meaning and progressive leadership will follow. It is the way it must be because our policing standards has been stagnant, perhaps even gone backwards, over decades now to be archaic in comparison to best global standards. Much like most sectors of Nigerian socio-economic life (power, education, healthcare etc) yet Nigerian leaders move too slowly to upscale solutions. We must compartmentalize Nigerian policing asap.

jmoore:You are clueless. |
helinues:The USA and Nigeria partnership against terror has had strategic success. ISIS second in command was neutralised on Nigerian soil in the North. The problem is that North only knows to feed on the wealth of the FG through the Presidency they use to do all manners of madness. Under Buhari they printed trillions with no fiscal responsibility at all. Under PBAT, the Nigerian central bank is world central bank of the year for the first time In our history. I welcome the USA partnering us in our war against terror but the issue is that many in the North, from leaders to followers, are in bed with terrorism and banditry. We have all seen images of thousands of bandits riding on bikes in the North and being welcomed like heroes. Southerners need to wake up in Nigeria. I don't see any solution to the major problem of Nigerian apart from the North and South going their separate ways. The world has changed and the two regions cannot coexist productively. Globally, many evil, influential and wealthy people and nations want fundamentalist and radical Islam to dominate Nigeria. They will not stop sponsoring the effort for Islamic fundamentalism to define Nigeria because they believe the biggest black nation in the world belongs to them. Only those who cannot think critically or pragmatically will think Nigeria will not seperate one way or the other. Politicians are just prolonginging the separation because of loot they are gaining controlling the centre. We ordinary Nigerians, assuming we ever get smart enough, just need to decide if we want that separation to happen bloodily or peacefully . |
mkpologwu:Absolutely. North and South should not be together. North should morhp into the Sahel nations above her. I.e their religious and ideological relatives. It is for ordinary Nigerians to force leaders to allow us have an honest conversation about this reality, and ensure our opinion matter, so we work out ways to move forward. |
What is quoted below is true. Chibok girls again. Yet Jagaban is not PBAT and has warned them he won't be intimidated or cowered. “The same thing they did to Jonathan is what they are doing to Tinubu. They want to make the country ungovernable for him. They even have fake news propaganda to scare the masses and divert supporters away from the President. |
Check out this useless human being. Working for a Fulani when it is the legitimate turn of the South because he is desperate for political office and cash. I don't have a problem with those who want Nigeria balkanised because we don't belong together and could be good separate neighbours. what we must do is make the effort to gain that separation legitimately. Not through Kanu and IPOB terror method. |
DrAkpa:Sir, thank you for saying the truth. Yet, I think many Nigerians now see through Obi. He will be disgraced in the upcoming January 2027 election I believe Tinubu has won with only Atiku only able to present a credible.challenge. |
Lithiumite:Don't mind him. NDC is now their messiah vehicle ordained by God. Nigeria is failing because, as intelligent and talented a lot of Nigerians are, we remain an emotional and prejudiced people who cannot think critically when such matters most. Imagine an adult Nigerian now azzlicking NDC, with no credibility as a major Nigerian political Party, just because Obi is Presidential candidate of the Party? Can people now see why Nigeria can never work? Nigerians pretend but the truth is we are very different and adversarial. For our nation to work, minimally and minus outright separation, we must host regional autonomy asap. We are standing in each other's way with 'one Nigeria' fraud leaders use to loot yet has no benefit for ordinary Nigerians. |
Mrchippychappy:Lol. Your sort make me laugh. Keep fooling yourself. Aisha Yesufu and Peter Obi have moved political Parties how many times? Why do you you Nigerian act like you've gone to school but school did not go through you? You are now azzlicking NDC another political contraption created to put individuals in positions of leadership to rob and steal. At what stage are you going to speak as if you understand Nigerian political Parties have no institutional integrity and that everything is about the character, ideology and capacity of leaders? |
Lol.NDC. What a joke. |
Northernblood8:Lol. You have no shame. |
The OP is not a Northerner. He is just being deceitful and propagandist. |
KnowAll:Absolutely. Good example. |
hegelian:This is not true..Tinubu cares deeply for Nigerians. He just understands the concept of administering tough love for the sake of the greater good. As an extremely well-travelled and exposed person, I can tell you without reservation that Nigerians are some of the most unreasonable and difficult people anyone can deal with. Nothing you do can ever please all or even most Nigerians because of ethno-religious sentiments that makes us prejudiced against each other. Tinubu knows that and he tries to implement the best tried and tested solutions, that fits our problems, in hope our nation will become developed even if Nigerians have to suffer in the short term. That is how tough love works. It is why disciplined and strict parents produce the most high-achieving children. Take Will Smith and David Beckham for example bothe extremely wealthy achievers in entertainment and sports. They have brats for children who are even beefing their fathers and, in the case of Will Smith, have dropped their last name. This is happening because both men did not understand that fundamental law of nature that made them succeed. I.e hunger and deprivation that drives the need for success. Take that away and replace it with privilege and extreme wealth, lack of direction and motivation to excel is the outcome. That is what has happened to Nigeria. Previous Presidents used subsidies in several sectors to make Nigerians unmotivated, incapable of being innovative and addicted to weaponized poverty. No different to how non of the kids of Will Smith and David Beckham can match their parents achievement because their lives were being subsided by the wealth of their parents. Tinubu knows what matters and he cannot afford to indulge Nigerians continuing the numerous subsidies and inefficiencies that made Nigerians lazy, unmotivated and incapable of developing a developed nation. |
KnowAll:💯% correct. For the cumulative damage that has been done to Nigeria over at least five decades, since the era of Shagari, we must have the awareness to give a reformer a minimum of 8 years to birth the process and hope his successor.recieves the baton progressively. Tinubu has shown that this method works with how he began the transformation and leadership continuity that made Lagos 6th biggest economy in Africa a while back. Obi and Atiku are jokers not fit to lace PBAT's shoes. What truly transformative things have Obi or Atiku done in comparison to Tinubu? The ethnic disaffection Nigerians have for each other is what blind most Nigerians to what would be so obvious to most non-Nigerians. Present the cold facts about Tinubu, Atiku and Obi to a Briton, South African, Moroccan, Ghanaian, Ugandan, Russian, American etc and they will ask you "are you serious? Is this even a choice"? |
@OP. Now you're talking. No one has talked about Lee Kuan Yew and Singapore, per the similarity of her socio-economic plight in the past with the challenges Nigeria face today, more than me on this forum. If Lee Kuan Yew had that much time , and Singaporeans had the maturity to bear with him, is it not obvious ethnocentric disaffection for each other is the reason many are making noise and calling for Tinubu's outsing when adult commonsense should show us all that implemented reforms need several years to begin achieving desired results? Would Singapore be a developed nation today if Lee Kuan Yew was ousted after 4 years? Our ethnic hatred of each other is a major problem and impasse for Nigeria because it ensures we never gain homogeneity of vision and socio-economic conformity. |
ElSudani:Indeed. Nigerians are unserious people. This is why South Africa etal are dragging us when they should not even be at our ankle level if we are not a big for nothing people. |
Rubbish. Pdotest in Lagos how? I will always reference Moniepoint CEO who said the intelligence quotient of Nigerians is comparatively low. Personally devasted over the two killed teachers and the kidnapped children but this is the Chibok girls all over again designed to sabotage and taint the presidency of a Southerner so the North, addicted to political wealth and unwilling to evolve beyond using the presidency to sustain itself, can return to power. If Nigerians adults have brain let them protest we convene a national conference to agree urgent solutions to our fundamental problems or even seperate. If that is done I will 100% join the protest at the front and be the main lobbyist of the international community to sanction Nigeria if solutions, according to the will of the people, are not implemented. Protesting for the rescue of the children and teachers solves nothing because we are in a vicious and repeating cycle meaning same thing will happen next week, next month or next year. We must protest for permanent solutions. All the problems of Nigeria stems from how Nigerians are reactionary and not intelligently robust nor critical thinking enough to agitate for the proper and permanent fix to our major problems. Disappointing how, for decades now, so many Nigerian adults can't see the bigger picture and the obvious solutions they must agitate for unitedly and uncompromisingly. A man needs surgery and Nigerians want to protest for him to have paracetamol? Nigerian adults want to think about rice and Eba (Reno Omokri) and Owambe plus sex and enjoyment all the time. Yet when developments like this arise, when an intelligent adult know they always will, everyone is running around like headless chickens. |
FSBoperator:Indeed. I actually have business premises in Lekki and it is Obidients I fear lol. They operate like cultists. if they know you and know where you are , na to relocate to Cameroon or Chad even. They are terrorists. |
kimjessey2019:Which region exactly isn't threatened by Fulani banditry and terrorism? You guys , because of malevolence you host for Yorubas, are always talking about the SW yet what should we make of the middle belt Fulani murderous antics has seriously violated? Go and worry about yourself abeg. Yorubas will always be good. The SW is one of the two premier region of Nigeria today, along with the SS, and she can't be destabilised. You doom-mongers should mind your own affairs because we all know you aren't talking out of love and concern for the Yorubas. |
Tosin17:Don't mind them. They are all ignorant and unexposed functional illiterates, damaged by weaponized subsidy poverty, who don't even know what is best for them. |
