KillahPriest:Megacities globally (above 10 million in population) have gangs, cartels, mafias, cults etc. They evolve because of the underworld society only mega cities can host.
|
helinues:Helinues, "fighting on the street" is the norm in heavily populated, cosmopolitan, multi-ethnic and multicultural megacitys of the world with gangs, cults, cartels etc. London, Paris, New York, Joburg, Rio de Janeiro etc. You name it. Na the norm. Would have thought this would be fairly obvious to you. In fact, given our reality, I'd even deem Lagos tame in comparison to many megacities of the world like Sao Paulo and Mexico City for example. Abeg don't feed the trolls from the region of hate. Lagos does not have major problems and is actually managing well given the extreme burden on her from people from the other States of Nigeria. Especially those outside the SW. |
Northernblood8:Non at all. Other than the one troubled and malevolent souls like you are trying to create by fire by force. Your pain will endure for life bro because the Yorubas are not changing anytime soon. They will continue to exemplify the best and most desirable qualities and character of humanity in stark contrast to you lot.
|
WesleyPepper:Lol. His life must be sad and terrible. He is stuck with a mind constantly obsessed with hating and wishing evil on others who continue to progress and make forward strides while him and his people regress and take one self-destructive step after another every day. They are still in extreme pain Kanu has been jailed for life while Igboho is enjoying his life, wife, kids and grandkids lol |
Northernblood8:Have you not heard the saying "who jah bless let no man curse"? The hate you people have for Yorubas, who God has blessed abundantly, will eat you up and consume you. The irony is that Yorubas no even send Una like dat sef. |
Nextjs:Are you okay at all? What truth have you stated here? What is shown below, that you present as if a statement of fact, sound like verified truth to you? Or is it talk most normal adults would view as wild conjecture and the delusional opinion of an irresponsible adult? This means that someone within the planning stage in federation government intelligence circle tip the terrorist exact location they will hit. |
brain54:Absolutely. He simply went public with his own negative and anarchic thoughts that serves no purpose aside whip up negative sentiments against the government. A post in very bad taste considering it comes at a time we should all be talking of consolidation of effort to keep up a consistent and unrelenting assault against terrorists till they are all neutralised and defeated . You are right. People like him are no different to our common enemies even as they believe they are |
brain54:God bless you. Nigeria is full of wicked and devilish people who believe it is others who are wicked and devilish. Why do some , if not wicked and devilish, always think the worst and then go public with such negative thoughts when that can be harmful to the concerted effort of government to join with Nigerians to defeat terror? |
Dogalmighty17:How? They should have freed a 100% guilty terrorist only adjudged innocent in the prejudiced eyes of his knismen? All this famzing of Kanu will end in a few months. He will be forgotten. Who has time for a megalomaniac failure like him who proclaimed he has the power to decree who lives or dies. Trust it to be one people alone, in our entire nation, who will openly worship the terrorists and murderers amongst them like messiahs. At least the lot up North are wise enough to pretend publicly they resent Bello Turji etal. |
Yorubas are peaceful , progressive and upright people who never operate with any hidden agenda. Why then will we not support anything that improves the peace and progress of Nigeria? |
hopeforcharles:A demi-God to you confused and messiah-worshipping lot alone. What every objective human being saw in Court was a lunatic. Not a god of any sort or even a distinguished individual. |
surgical:He is not mad. Just a typical Northern leader, like Atiku and El Rufai plus Malami etal, who believe they are owners of Nigeria and born-to-rule hegemonists who can dictate to the rest of us 'serfs' and have their ways always. We are infidels or 'kaffirs" to them all. That is why Gumi talks as he does. When all Nigerians ramp up their awareness and knowledge of the hopelessness of 'one Nigeria', due to all of us having to share space with the likes of Gumi, then they won't tell them before they start carrying placards for what is shown below as I have supported for years now. https://www.google.com/amp/s/punchng.com/swest-govs-propose-six-regions-demand-lg-autonomy-resource-control/%3famp

AqualinaXYZ:Must you lot always wallow in victimhood and self-pity? You go out of your way to insist you are not Nigerians and hate Nigeria. Yet every topic, related or not, you use to insist Nigeria treats you differently. I don't know any group of people in the world like you lot i.e those who cause problems for themselves yet pretend to be victims always. |
Britishpea:I am always taken aback by their pettiness, hatred and bitterness. It is as if they are cursed never to see the bigger picture or what really matters for Nigeria or Nigerians. |
Mitsurugi:Lol. If he was in the know he will phone Bello Turji etal to warn them ba? You people are something else.. You don't know Tinubu and what drives him. Ask Trump to take over the Nigerian Presidency also na since he is performing miracles with the US economy. What a joke. |
ekerintee:God bless you. We Nigerians are the people living in hell due to how terrorism has essentially destroyed/heavily compromised our agricultural, travel/tourism/hospitality and mining sector. Genuinely progressive Nigerians who are winning in life and backing peace to reign will not care about America's messianic obsession with been seen as saviours and liberators of our Universe if we gain peace and security onwards to becoming the Singapore of Africa. |
tpain121:Okay. I agree with you. Happy now Einstein? |
Iamzik:You are simply a shamelessly dishonest person. I never called myself a nationalist. I am a patriotically pragmatic Nigerian who wants the best for Nigeria today, via working with our current reality, while hoping we can ultimately arrive at a stage where all Nigerians can go and lead themselves autonomously at regional level. Below is what I want more than anything else in the world. Don't dare then tag me a nationalist. One can only be nationalist in nations where people love their fellow men, regardless of ethnic or religious affiliation, and all submit themselves to respecting homogenous ideas we must host uniformly as sacrosanct. For example, what nationalist do you want me to be when Nigeria is officially a secular nation yet the North wants Sharia law that should be unneeded and ultra vires against the Nigerian constitution? Look buddy, my own is that we manage each other as best as possible, reduce the shedding of innocent Nigerian blood and hemorrhaging of our national wealth till we can achieve what is shown below. I live Nigeria daily and run several business in Lagos. I see so much across the range of my personal operations that leaves me under no illusion 'one Nigeria' is a big failure Nigeria must do away with asap. Nigerians are too different and divided for 'One Nigeria' to be our salvation. For smart folks, the reality is about managing current state of affairs till we land where the agitation below is seeking for us all. https://punchng.com/swest-govs-propose-six-regions-demand-lg-autonomy-resource-control/

Ezeama400:I have made good and crytical analysis over the matter elsewhere. Check my immediate past posts and see for yourself. The fact is that the USA , backed by her Congress, has formally set up a joint working force with Nigeria to combat Fulani terror in Nigeria. What is the point, when we all know and accept this fact that such a joint work force exist, of revelling in self-deceit, especially after USA and Nigeria have publicly cited the latest anti-terror bombing with Nigeria to be a joint effort, claiming "Tinubu never knew about any strike" or "strike not a joint effort" ? The sad thing is that those making these noise are not members of the joint anti-terror force USA and Nigeria, showing mutual respect for each other, went ahead to convene. Yet they know more than the official statement USA and Nigeria have put out. There is something wrong with the soul of Nigeria and Nigerians that continuously leads to the situation we see today where too many Nigerians, than is healthy, find it easier to attack government over good development we all stated we wanted rather than just give credit where due and praise gains made. This is why I am a die-hard regionalist. I know, with so much proof visible daily backing my stance, Nigerians will never love themselves enough to create a great nation that should be the pride of black people globally as the biggest black nation on Earth. Simple bombing of terrorists, that should be welcomed by all Nigerians, we have turned into "Tinubu was ignored" and "USA acted alone" etc, etc because of nothing but hatred of our nation and fellow Nigerians. |
Who expects drowned and dead PDP , now looking for any visibility and relevance it can get, to say otherwise? |
motymop:Inaction is no longer an option ogbeni. Do, you die. No do and you still die. Which would you rather have? Slaughtered while pampering your killers , who have now been made to believe they are untouchable, and begging on your knees? Under Southern Presidents, fight against terror is and will always be limited in its capacity to deliver optimal success because the sabotage from Northern leaders at all levels (political, cultural, religious, business and military/armed forces leadership) is immense and intimidating. This means any Southerner, because he cannot use the full military might of Nigeria against the North since the region is a major and compromised contributor to that same military might, must rely on external force/s for a pivotal turning point to be reached against the war on Fulani terror against Nigeria. We are there right now and must follow through on what has been started whether deliberately (Tinubu's intentional and strategic machinations) or by the coincidence of megalomaniac and christendom-seeking Donald Trump gaining a second term as POTUS. Whatever is behind what is happening should be supported as divine intervention because we cannot continue to be at the mercy of the North and I don't understand why so many of you are now coming out to express fear over reprisal etc because of the bombings Yesterday. Was the battle to regain the peace and security of our nation ever going to be easy after Buhari's Presidency allowed extremist jihadist Fulani killers to converge on Nigeria for years, while he was President, with Malami then abetting their reign of impunity and terror? Fulanis, from all across Africa, have been promised Nigeria (your land and mine) is their own to take over. Don't you people get the existential component of the battle you must prepare for? You think you can appease them with inaction and they will go Away in the end back to Chad, Mali, Niger Republic, CAR, Senegal, Burkina Faso etal? Better japa bro while you can. |
iwaeda:Who should they attribute it to? You? Your dad? Your Uncle? There is a US Congress-backed joint alliance work force between Nigeria and USA in place today. Were you on Mars when USA sent a committee to Nigeria to meet with Ribadu, our NSA, to put an action plan in place towards joing cooperation of both nations to tackle terrorism in Nigeria? Can't some of you act like adults now and then instead of waking daily to believe it is okay to behave like mischievous toddlers? This situation is not a joke. Ideally, all well-meaning and peace-loving Nigerians, whatever they think of our President or those in charge of our nation, should be on the same page per the need for Nigeria to repel and destroy the terrorists threatening to destroy our nation. |
CyynthiaKiss: LagosOrigin:Why are you people like this? I.e always anti-Nigeria and against other Nigerians like a President doing well yet you always hate on for nothing other than his ethnic origin as a Yoruba man and your views he is to blame for you not gaining Igbo President. You guys must always be like enemies within and never able to align with other well-meaning Nigerians. Trump always talks like an uncouth megalomaniac with scant regards for anything or anyone. Yet what is the reality of this strike? We have what is formal and sanctioned shown below. There is a formally convened and US congress-backed joint work force between Nigeria and the USA in place to tackle terror in Nigeria. Fact Why would any Nigerian who deals with facts and reality say "it's not joint operation" when the USA and Nigeria have confirmed it was? From below we are to believe the USA is lying and you are right with your claim "it's not joint operation" ? A claim sensible people know you and your folks will always make because God forbid you ever give Nigeria or Yoruba President credit for doing what your darling GEJ never had the balls to do. Can't you people ever note the way you think and talk is troubling and not okay? You can never be happy, positive or patriotic.

Ofunaofu:Ogbeni, act your age and learn to post like someone educated to even primiy school level. Stay on point and stop detracting from the core issue of discussiona. No one asked for your usual, irrelevant and ethno-religiously hateful/bitter diatribe against PBAT. Focus on the actual development and speak on that. |
givedemwotowoto:We understand you are in pain and not happy progressive action has been taken by the work force alliance between Nigeria and the USA created to tackle the terror menace of Fulanis. Since the development does not further the Presidential agenda of Obi, Atiku etal we can see why you will be here rolling on the floor shouting "Agbadorian" rather than talk on the actual event which marks the first of such against terror since our 1999 democracy began. Your sadness is because this is confirmation, again, that Tinubu is brave and willing to go there in pursuit of solutions for Nigerians and Nigeria while you and your crew have said he plays politics always and will never act. You and your fellow Obidients (haters and demarketers of Nigeria in reality) go explain tire as Nigeria makes progress by God's grace. All those who love Nigeria patritotically will simply be happy to continue praising good developments against terrorism. |
ebukal67x:Correct only so far as we are given the full legal and constitutional power (eg through regional autonomy with full control over our security) to protect ourselves. If that is not the case then terrorism will not remain a Northern problem. It will be our problem in the South too eventually as the jihadist and their brothers from the Sahel want full takeover of our nation to declare a Moslem nation. |
Kemetian:You are right but what have we not tried? I am personally fed up as insecurity reduces every other effort at progressive governance to near zero. Something has to give and I endorse this move because Fulanis, leaders and followers, have become unholy blackmailers of Nigeria while actually the least populous of the large ethnic group. They аre only emboldened to be worse and more deadly by national inaction from us all. Just look at how Gumi speaks publicly as if he is bigger than our NSA, defence Minister and Preisident. Look at the provocative and nauseating warning Gumi issues our armed forces personnel below warning rhe not to "provoke" bandits after to "respect" peace deal reached ? In reality, do bandits (A) respect peace deals or are they (B) emboldened to commit even greater atrocities after deals are agreed? I think me and you know that B is our proven reality Nigeria must act bro or we are all dead sooner or later because Fulani terrorist grow stronger and gather in bigger number within Nigeria, from accross sub-Saharan Africa and elsewhere, as we dilly dally. If anything, action that proactively takes the fight to them can lead to re-drafting of our constitution to give regions more powers to protect themselves. What is sure is that we cannot continue like this with kidnapping and death everywhere daily as the norm in Nigeria today. https://www.ripplesnigeria.com/dont-provoke-bandits-after-peace-deals-in-katsina-sheikh-gumi-warns-military/
