Hi, thanks for ur input on this topic, pls how to i add money to my Dhgate pay account, i want to do it via western union or bank transfer, pls how do i go about it?
You don't need to stress yourself by using Western Union or Bank Transfer to fund your Dhgate Account... Dhgate accept Nigerian Bank Mastercard and Visa ATM card.

Ensure that you have enough money in your Account, and pay through your ATM card, is even more safer because you will be covered by escrow service on the website, whereby you can always ask for refund by opening dispute if the goods you order is not good or the seller refuse to send the goods as quickly as possible.
IslamWho Is Fighting For Allah? by Wizeboy(op): 7:00am On Oct 17, 2014
Bismillahi Rahmani Raheem.

All might and power belong to Allah,(SWT), the only superpower. Everything is in His control. If He wills, He will destroy the king and the mighty with a little ant. We have seen copious examples of how the mighty have fallen in this world with different narratives from the scriptures. Therefore, one should never be overawed by the paraphenelia of power. It is Allah who gives power and exalts.

If Allah (SWT) exalts anyone, nobody can humiliate; if He protects one, nobody can harm one at all despite their might and power. Allah sends His divine help to those who wholeheartedly submit to Him through whoever and whatever He wishes as means. He is not dependant on our efforts to safeguard Islam. If you worship Him, it will not add anything to His Majesty and if you refused to serve Him, it will not diminish His Glory.

Serving Allah is for individual benefit in this world and in the hereafter. That is why the Qur’an says: There is no compulsion in religion. Even when you serve Him, you should avoid what displeases Him. For those whose warped perception of jihad is by compelling people with violence to accept Islam, it is laughable; not only that they are displeasing Allah, they are incuring His wrath. Allah has a way of dealing with people who are anti-Islam.

Come to think of it, He has been safeguarding the deen far more than the way we think we are doing. If any body thinks he can raise a sword in defence of Allah, he is not only underestimating the power of God but he is incuring the displeasure of Allah.

This reminds us of the planned demolition of the Kaaba by the people of the Elephants led by Abraha Al-Ashram, who was a governor of Yemen about two months before the birth of Prophet Muhammad.

According to historical Islamic sources, Abraha, who was a Christian, had thought of building a church similar to the Kaaba in Sanaa. He wanted the Arabs to perform the pilgrimage in Sanaa instead of Makkah, with the intention of diverting trade and benefits to Yemen. He presented the idea to the then king of Ethiopia who agreed to it.

Abraha built the church. Ibn Kathir reported that Abraha acquired most of the precious adornments for the church from the palace of Bilqis. But even with that, the Arabs refused to come for pilgrimage in Sanaa.

This infuriated him, prompting him to form an army including 13 elephants to invade Makkah and demolish the Kaaba.

The lesson here is that Abdul Muttalib, the grandfather of Prophet Muhammad was the leader of the Quraish and the custodian of the Holy Ka’bah at that time. Instead of planning a counter attack, he told his people that the Holy Ka’bah is the sacred house of Allah and that only Allah will protect His house. Rather, he instructed that city of Makkah be evacuated for safety of the people.

Abdul Muttalib held the door of the Ka’bah and beseeched Allah in the following words: “O Allah! Each person is the protector of his house, You protect Your house. And assist Your people against the people of the cross and its worshippers. Their cross and their schemes will never overpower Your house and Your plans. They brought along all their forces and their elephants to capture Your dependants. Out of sheer ignorance, they aim to invade your Royal territory (Makkah) with their evil plots, but they fail to acknowledge Your supreme Majesty.”
After the prayer, Abdul Muttalib left Makkah in desolation.

Abrah defeated all Arab armies on the way to Makkah. A few meters to the Kaaba, he was attacked by flocks of birds that dropped small stones on them sent by Allah.

The siraat of Kaaba by the Islamic Theological Society, Eastern Cape said the size of each pebble resembled the size of pea seeds or lentils. Each bird carried two pebbles in its claws and one in its beak. Whichever wretched person these pebbles struck would not survive. On each pebble was marked the name of the one it was decreed to fall on as well as the name of his father.

With the divine power of Allah (SWT), these pebbles swiftly rained down upon the army of Abraha like volleys of lethal bullets. A pebble would strike the head and fatally emerge from the posterior. The soldiers and elephants fled in panic. Many of them died instantly and the rest of them died on their way back. In this way Abraha’s army was completely eliminated and wiped out from the face of the earth.

Abraha after being hit, was afflicted by a deadly disease that spread poison over his body. As they carried him away, his entire body broke out with small pox, which exuded pus and blood. One after the other, his body limbs began fragmenting and falling to the ground. Finally, upon reaching San’a, his chest burst open causing Abraha to die a miserable death

A whole Surah gave account of the incident in the Quran. Have you not considered, [O Muhammad], how your Lord dealt with the companions of the elephant? Did He not make their plan into misguidance? And He sent against them birds in flocks, Striking them with stones of hard clay, And He made them like eaten straw. Quran 105: 1-5

LESSON: Nobody can fight for Almighty Allah, all we should always do as a Muslim, is to strive to know more about our religion, teach it and be of good behaviour that can be emulate by others. Nobody can claim to be a good Muslim until he follows keenly the words of the Holy Qur'an. And Almighty Allah taught us to be tolerance in so many verses of the Qur'an, which some of the verses are as follows:

“Do not revile those unto whom they pray beside God, lest they wrongfully revile God through ignorance” (Quran 6 : 108). Almighty Allah directly forbids verbal religious intolerance, candidly pointing out the logical consequence of mutual animosity and hatred.  Disagreement is sometimes unavoidable; however, petty name-calling is certainly something we can all maturely surmount.

“Had God willed, they had not been idolatrous.  We have not set thee as a keeper over them, nor art thou responsible for them” (Quran 6 : 107)

Bear patiently what they (abusers) say." (Quran 20:130)

"Disregard their annoying talk." (Quran 33:48)

"When you hear Allah's messages disbelieved in and mocked at, sit not with them until they enter into some other talk." (Quran 4:140)

"And if you invite them to guidance, they hear not; and you see them looking towards you, yet they see not. Take to forgiveness and enjoin good and turn away from the ignorant." (Quran 7:198 – 199)

“Forgive and show indulgence to them…Whosoever surrendereth his purpose to God while doing good, his reward is with his Lord; and there shall no fear come upon them neither shall they grieve” (Quran 2 : 109 - 112).

May Almighty Allah continue to guide us towards the right path and strengthen us towards His deen (Amin)
IslamRe: Being A Better Muslim? by Wizeboy(m): 3:11pm On Oct 15, 2014
Sissie:
What does being a better Muslim mean to you?

Many times we think praying Five daily salat, wearing the hijab, keeping the beard etc is the basis of being a good Muslim, while I do not disagree to it the question is, is that all? Is that were many of us end it? Isn't it wider than this. Afteral we all agree Islam is a way of life, is your life itself dawah?

What does being a good Muslim mean to you?
Being a good Muslim is not all about performing solat, though we can never relegate solat as it is the one of the most important pillar of ISLAM. Infact, some Hadith clearly stated that “what distinguishes between Muslim and Non-Muslim is Solat”. However, doing good and having the right belief go hand in hand in Islam. In fact, doing good in practice is the proof of having the right belief in the heart. This is why the Holy Quran speaks of true Muslims very often as “THOSE WHO BELIEVE AND DO GOOD DEEDS”.

Holy Quran and Prophet Muhammad have however lists some of the chief qualities a good Muslim should display, but I will list the most important 18 qualities a good Muslim must possess with Quran verse that backed them up:

1. Truthfulness:
"O you who believe! keep your duty to Allah and speak straight, true words." (Quran 33:70)
"Be maintainers of justice and bearers of true witness for Allah, even if it (the truth) goes against your own selves or parents or relatives or someone who is rich or poor." (Quran 4:135)

2. Tolerance
"Bear patiently what they (abusers) say." (Quran 20:130)
"Disregard their annoying talk." (Quran 33:48)
"When you hear Allah's messages disbelieved in and mocked at, sit not with them until they enter into some other talk." (Quran 4:140)
"And if you invite them to guidance, they hear not; and you see them looking towards you, yet they see not. Take to forgiveness and enjoin good and turn away from the ignorant." (Quran 7:198 – 199)
"The Messenger of Allah and his Companions used to forgive the idolaters and the followers of the book, as Allah had commanded them, and they used to show patience on hearing hurtful words." (Bukhari.)

3. Unselfishness:
"You cannot attain to righteousness unless you spend (in charity) out of those things which you love." (Quran 3 : 91)
"They (the true believers) give food, out of love for Allah, to the poor, the orphan and the slave, saying: We feed you only for Allah's pleasure – we desire from you neither reward nor thanks." (Quran 76 : 8 – 9)
"Do not favour seeking gain." (Quran 74 : 6)

4. Humility:
"The servants of the Beneficent (Allah) are those who walk on the earth in humility." (Quran 25:63)
"Do not turn your face away from people in contempt, nor go about in the land exultingly." (Quran 31:18)
"Do not ascribe purity to yourselves. Allah knows best who is righteous." (Quran 53:32)

5. Patience:
"Allah loves those who are patient." (Quran 3:145)
"Give good news to the patient, who, when a misfortune befalls them, say: We are Allah's and to Him do we return." (Quran 2:155 – 156)

6. Forgiveness:
"Pardon (people) and overlook (their faults). Don't you love that Allah should forgive you." (Quran 24:22)
"(The dutiful are) . . . those who restrain their anger and pardon people. Allah loves those who do good to others." (Quran 3:134)
When the Holy Prophet Muhammad defeated his enemies in Makka and returned to that city as its conqueror, he forgave them in the following words: "No reproof be against you this day; Allah may forgive you, and He is the most Merciful of those who show mercy." (Quran 12:92)

7. Purity and cleanliness:
"He indeed is successful who purifies himself (in mind and body), and remembers the name of his Lord, then prays." (Quran 87 : 14 – 15)
"Purify your garments and shun uncleanness." (74 : 4 – 5)

8. Honesty:
"Do not swallow up your property among yourselves by false means, nor offer it as a bribe to the officials so that you may swallow up other people's property unlawfully while you know." (Quran 2:188)

9. Goodness and kindness to others:
"Do good to others, surely Allah loves those who do good to others." (2:195)

10. Respect for other People Affairs:
"O you who believe! do not enter houses other than your own until you have asked permission and greeted the inmates . . . and if it is said to you, 'Go back', then go back." (Quran 24: 27 – 28)
"O you who believe! avoid most of suspicion (against others), for surely suspicion in some cases is sin; and do not spy (into other people's affairs), nor let some of you backbite others." (Quran 49:12)

11. Moderation:
"Eat and drink, but do not be immoderate." (Quran 7:31)
"Do not chain your hand to your neck (so that you are mean in spending), nor stretch it out to the utmost limit (so that you waste everything)." (Quran 17:29)

12. Respect your Parents and the elderly:
"Your Lord has commanded that you worship none but Him, and do good to parents. If one or both of them reach old age with you, do not say 'Fie' to them, nor chide them, but speak to them a generous word . . . and say, My Lord, have mercy on them as they brought me up when I was little." (Quran 17: 23 – 24).

13. Help the Poor and needy:
"Righteous is he who . . . gives away wealth out of love for Him to the near of kin and the orphans and the needy and the wayfarer and to those who ask and to set slaves free." (Quran 2:177)
"What will make you understand what the uphill road (to success) is? (It is) to free a slave, or feed at a time of hunger an orphan who is a relative or the poor man lying in the dust." (Quran 90:11 – 16)

14. Do Good to your Neighbours:
"Be good to the neighbour belonging to your people and the alien neighbour." (Quran 4:36)
"He is not a believer who fills his stomach while his neighbour is hungry." (Hadith)
"The angel Gabriel continued to enjoin upon me good treatment of the neighbour, so much so that I thought he would make him heir to one's property." (Bukhari.)

15. Respect and do good to your Wives/Husbands:
"Of His (Allah's) signs is that He created spouses for you from yourselves so that you might find quiet of mind in them, and He put between you love and compassion." (Quran 30:21)
"The best of you are those who are kindest to their wives." (Tirmizi.)
A man related:
"I asked Aishah (Holy Prophet's wife): What did the Prophet do when in his house? She said, `He served his wife', meaning that he did work for his wife." (Report in Bukhari.)

16. Forgive your Enemies:
"Repel evil with what is best, when lo! he between whom and you there is enmity will be like a warm friend." (Quran 41:34)
"Many of the people of the book wish that they could turn you back into disbelievers after you have believed, out of envy from themselves. . .. But pardon and forgive." (Quran 2:109)
"And you will always find treachery in them, except a few of them. So pardon them and forgive. Surely Allah loves those who do good to others." (Quran 5:13)

17. Treatment of Non-Muslims:
"Whatever good they (people of other religions) do, they will not be denied it (by Allah), and Allah knows who the righteous are." (3:115)
"O you who believe, be upright for Allah, bearers of witness with justice; and do not let the hatred of a people incite you not to act with justice. Be just; that is nearer to observance of duty." (Quran 5 : cool
"Call (others) to the way of your Lord with wisdom and goodly exhortation, and argue with them in the best manner." (Quran 16:125)
"Argue not with the people of the Book (Jews, Christians, and other people having scriptures) except by the best (means), save those of them who act unjustly. But say: We believe in that which has been revealed to us and revealed to you, and our God and your God is One, and to Him we submit." (Quran 29:46)
A companion of the Holy Prophet relates:
"A funeral procession passed by the Holy Prophet, and he stood up for it. People said to him: It was the funeral of a Jew. He said: Was it not a human life?" (Bukhari.)

18. Kindness to Mankind generally
"Mankind is a single nation." (2:213)
"O mankind! We have created you from a male and a female, and made you into races and families so that you may know each other. The most honoured of you in Allah's sight are those who best keep their duty." (49:13)
"We (Allah) have not sent you (O Muhammad) except as a mercy to the nations." (21:107)
"Speak good words to all people." (2:83)
"Allah commands you that . . . when you judge between people (i.e., of any race, religion, family, class, etc.), you judge with justice." (4:58)

pls how can he then recieve the goods give examples wount there be papers to clear..etc.. And the rest..wont it affect the business in terms of making profit
You will always receive your goods from the nearest Post Office to your address in which you put when registering on aliexpress, dhgate, etc. You don't need any paper apart from your ID Card to collect your goods from the Post office officials. Post office officials will always call you on phone when your goods arrive at their post office.

It wouldn't affect your business in terms of making profit because you must have done some cost analysis before ordering. Most of the wristwatches on those site are very cheap and they will give you profit of 30 - 100%.
BusinessHow Self Employment Can Work For You by Wizeboy(op): 4:03pm On Oct 08, 2014
Self-employment according to wikipedia, is the act of generating one's income directly from customers, clients or other organizations as opposed to being an employee of a business (or person).

There are several signs that you are meant to be self-employed, including the fact that you want more flexibility in your schedule, you don’t work well with others, you’re passionate about your work, and you’re resourceful.

Once you decide to take the big step to becoming self-employed, you have to come up with a plan. Then, once you actually get your business going, there are steps you should take to make self-employment work for you, and these steps go beyond just having your idea succeed. You also need to figure out how to make the actual state of being self-employed work without getting overwhelmed. Here are five ways you can make self-employment work for you.

1. Come up with an idea and a plan
If you are not yet your own boss, the first step you need to take to become your own boss is to think of an idea. Hopefully, if you are considering self-employment, you already have one. Once you have your idea, though, you’re not finished. You need to come up with a plan for how you are going to execute your idea.

A business plan is not just a document. It is a holistic analysis of your company, the environment it operates in, and a route map to achieving success based on the resources available. Unfortunately, the image most of us have is of a 30-page bound document. The focus is on ‘the output' when the real value in a business plan is the business-planning process itself. Business planning is an essential element of running any successful business, particularly given the growing uncertainty all businesses face coupled with ongoing changes in consumer behaviour.
Some of the importance of business plan are as follows: To plan for an uncertain future, To help grow your business, To commit to a particular course of action, To manage cash flow, To value a business, To ensure all bases are covered
As you'll have garnered from the above, business planning is an essential activity, regardless of the stage of business you're at. The very process of producing a business plan enables the business owner to give due consideration to the various factors that mesh together to create the opportunity they are seeking to explore, as well as the resources required and the key drivers needed for success.

2. Market your business continually
Once you are ready to start your business, you need to come up with marketing strategies. You need to analyze the area in which you are creating your business, or, if you are planning to market to a national audience, you need to figure out how to do that. Once you know your target audience, you have to determine how to reach them. Much of this will be done through advertising.

It’s important to heavily advertise when you start your business, but it’s also important to continue to use marketing strategies as your business grows. Don’t assume that if you have a successful start, your business will continue to be successful. Often businesses grow via word of mouth, so it’s also important to make sure that you are keeping your customers or clientele happy, as well. There are many free online advert site in Nigeria now, in which you can also use to promote your products or services.

3. Get support
Financial backing is crucial to the success of many businesses. Unless you have a lot of extra money and you are willing to take a big hit if your business doesn’t succeed, you will need help. You can start by asking your friends and family, but don’t put pressure on them. You also can try recruiting business contacts or people who will have a vested interest in your business plan.

You can also consider taking on a business partner to lessen the financial blow and the responsibility. When inviting a business partner, make sure such person is a visionary person, who know that business success is a gradual process and not what you expect to start reaping 100% profit in the first month of the start-up. If you already have your own business, continuing to network and maintaining relationships with key investors is also very important.

4. Be flexible
Flexibility is important when you are trying to create an idea, establish a plan, implement the plan, and then succeed as a self-employed worker. Things will not always go as you expect. It might take longer than you anticipated to complete all the logistical aspects of starting a business, or you might not get the financial backing that you need as fast as you would like. One of your investors might need to back out after you already started the business.

Anything can happen, and being flexible and maintaining a good attitude will help you keep working hard to make sure you succeed. You also will need to be flexible about the hours that you work. If you are used to a 9 to 5 job, it may take time to be comfortable working at all different times and sometimes having to put in many extra hours. Infact working extra hours should be the hallmark of a business owner who wish to achieve success in his business.

5. Choose the right employees
Perhaps your business needs will be completed entirely by you, in which case you won’t need to hire anyone. If this is the case, you will need to make sure that you maintain a steady work ethic, that you keep a competitive attitude, and that you are extremely organized and take time management seriously.

If you do hire employees, take time to really choose good ones. A Curriculum Vitae is not enough to tell you everything you need to know about a potential employee. Often people who write strong cover letters and follow up letter can be separated from other applicants who are not serious. If possible, you can also implement trial periods for new employees.

Most important, make sure that the person you are hiring can really do what you need him or her to, and that he or she is a person that you are willing to work regularly with. While the idea of your business is important, your employees may make or break your ability to be self-employed, because they will be doing much of the work and client interactions themselves.

If you have the drive to plan correctly, the motivation and organization to implement your plan, and the financial backing and right employees to succeed, you may be on your way to a long career as your own boss.
IslamRe: Open Letter To Seun On Putting Islam For Muslims Section Threads On Front Page by Wizeboy(op): 9:15am On Oct 03, 2014
Mr. Seun Osewa,

Its Friday again and a special day as that been ARAFAT DAY which is very important in the lives of Muslims worldwide and no single thread about it on front page. It is disheartening to note that what really attracted me to joined Nairaland several years ago are now been relegated to the background due to discrimination, marginalization and partiality. You should always try to treat everybody with fairness no matter their race, ethnic, religion, political influence or colour.

Seun, did you actually know how many people ISLAM thread on front page have attracted to joined your forum? Kindly check this link to see people's comment on how they joined Nairaland because of ISLAM thread on front page https://www.nairaland.com/867194/nairaland-muslim-newbies-introduce-yourself

As a leader, it will be better you act with fairness, impartiality and create avenue for all faith to enjoy equal right. Despite this thread not on front page, can you see for yourself so many hiding post due to some people derailing the thread? Why deny us front page then, when we have no hidden place whether we are on front page or not

Seun kindly come and give your reasons why this marginalization should continue. I have never engaged you before since I joined your forum few years back but you have really not acted fairly to the ISLAM thread.
IslamRe: Open Letter To Seun On Putting Islam For Muslims Section Threads On Front Page by Wizeboy(op): 7:58pm On Oct 02, 2014
garsul: Assalamu alaikum. The OP only spoke the minds of some muslims, of what use is a topic on the FP, when the thread will almost certainly be derailed by intolerant bigots casting aspersion on the deen and saying regretful things about our noble prophet (PBUH) with some muslims battling to distance islam from their threacherous lies & slanders. For me and some other brothers & sisters that I know, we would rather come to the islamic section and pick an uninfested thread for our consumption
Bro, kindly check almost all the threads on Islam thread and show me just one thread that is not derailed despite the fact that we are ban on front page.

I am certain that if not for the front page, you wouldn't or only by few chance discover that there's an ISLAM thread on Nairaland. The way you saw Islam thread on front page and came in, allow other brethern too to discover such opportunity.

Seun must learn to act with fairness, he must learn to be a true leader, because been the owner of this forum automatically crown him as a leader. We totally reject the marginalisation.

Mr. Seun Osewa, kindly come and explain the reason for your action and why we should continue to be treated badly here.

PEACE

Seun please your attention is needed here...

It is disheartening that no single Islam thread on front page. Check my profile since I have joined your forum (Nairaland). I have never been banned or make unscrupulous comment to anybody likewise many others here.

Why would people committing the offence be justify while our innocent thread is been punished. This is purely discrimination, I don't really mind if you ban me because of this, is time you should start acting indiscriminately without fear or favour.

Many comments are been hiding on your forum each day and you never ban such section on front page.

Peace
IslamOpen Letter To Seun On Putting Islam For Muslims Section Threads On Front Page by Wizeboy(op):
Dear Seun Osewa,

We write this open letter to you, the owner of Nairaland.com to express our disappointment and objection to your barring threads located in Islam for Muslims section from the front page of your website (without restrictions).

We want to let you know that most of us participate actively on other threads in other sections without breaking the rules and find it disheartening that we cannot express our beliefs on your forum without been marginalised whilst people of other faiths have their threads on front page without any discrimination.

We learnt that you decided to ban Muslim threads from front page due to many hidden comments and bans that are given to erring members who break your forum rules by posting insults or seeking to derail threads.

This we find to be unfair and unjust as there are many hidden comments in the Politics section with bans handed out to rule-breakers. Yet, threads from that section appear on front page virtually every day.

Whether a thread hits front page or not, some people might still break Nairaland rules and you can easily find threads that are not on front page with hidden comments.

Therefore, your refusal to let our threads hit the front page for all to see has not achieved your desired result as it only portrays you as a biased and unfair decision-maker.

We appreciate what you have achieved with Nairaland thus far but expect that you would build it as a platform that is fair to all regardless of faith.

Therefore, we request that you reverse this unfair and unjust policy of yours and instead ensure that the forum rules are implemented fairly at all times.

We hope you will consider this open letter and act accordingly towards being fair to everybody.

Best Regards,

Business5 Money Lessons You Can Learn From Your Friends Who Are Broke by Wizeboy(op): 7:42am On Oct 01, 2014
Having good friends is one of the best parts of life, especially if you have friends you can trust during the good and the hard times. It’s great to have people who share interests with you, who you can confide in, and who you can have fun with. Many of us struggle with having a natural competitive attitude when we are around our friends, and it is easy to fall into the pattern of wishing we had all that our friends do, whether that includes looks, money, or possessions.

However, sometimes part of being friends with someone is seeing the other person lose out or suffer. No one wants to see a true friend hurt, but in addition to comforting your friends when necessary, you can also learn from them. As tempting as it is to fall into the trap of wanting what your friends have, if you choose to, you can really learn from your friends’ mistakes — especially financial mistakes.

1. Don’t peer pressure spend

Yes, your friend’s new car is awesome, and it might look even better in your own driveway. However, if purchasing a new car would put you in serious debt, it just isn’t worth it. Most likely, you have seen firsthand what debt can do to someone. According to Debt.org, debt can have a huge emotional effect on a person. When we don’t have enough money, our choices are limited. Debt, of course, can also affect your ability to pay other bills, as well as your credit score. As tempting as it is to want to have what your friends have, remember to pay attention to those friends who have spent so much money that they are now truly suffering. Don’t take money from savings, make huge purchases, or borrow to play catch-up with your friends.

2. Start saving early

This is another lesson you can learn from your friends who are broke: start saving early. As fun as it is to spend recklessly and to believe you have years to start saving, this just isn’t true. The sooner you start saving, the better. You may already have friends who have maxed out their credit cards, or have purchased big houses and fancy cars and have no money left to put toward retirement or other types of savings. Or you may have older friends who warn you (either literally, or by the way they live) that failing to save enough can be detrimental to your future. While it’s important to set money aside for fun activities, it’s really essential to start saving money as early as you can.

3. Take your job seriously

With so many people looking for jobs, you probably have at least one friend who is living at home with his or her parents, or hasn’t had a job for months. Many people are out of work by no fault of their own (there just aren’t enough jobs in their field), but some people are out of work because they didn’t take their jobs seriously. You undoubtedly have a friend who partied too hard, came into work late too many times, or was just disrespectful or lazy too often. That friend is paying the price, and you don’t want to follow in their footsteps. Regardless of your age, or how far into your career you are, it’s important to take your job seriously. If you become too complacent, you could easily be broke in a few months.

4. Be wary of student debt

If you are considering a college education, be careful about which college you choose, because student debt is a huge problem for many people. According to USA Today, 71 percent of students took out loans in 2012, and the average student debt reached almost $30,000 in 2012. If you haven’t attended college yet, think carefully about what might happen if you amass a large amount of debt and then you can’t find a job to pay it off.

If you are years out of college, but you are considering graduate school, look around you. Graduate school might be the best bet, but there are many people who took on graduate school, or extra certificates, and are now drowning in debt and can’t pay those loans back. If you are considering paying for your kids’ college tuition, you also need to be think carefully about the amount of money you are willing to spend as well. As great as some expensive colleges are, sometimes at least starting at a more affordable school is a better idea

5. Don’t rush to get married

In no way should you avoid getting married if you have met the right person and you are deeply in love and ready to make wise decisions together. However, don’t rush into marriage without thinking carefully about how you want the rest of your life to pan out. Take time to consider important financial decisions before you get married. Determine if you plan to have kids, think about your savings goals and your work goals, decide if you want to rent or buy over the next few years, and figure out who will manage the money, and if you will combine your assets. You can always mutually change your mind later, but since financial disagreements often lead to relationship problems, you will be giving your marriage a strong foundation if you handle these issues ahead of time. Divorce can be very expensive in addition to being heartbreaking.

It’s great to have friends, and hopefully you and your friends will mostly heed these five warnings. However, whether you have a friend who experienced a nasty and expensive divorce, or a friend who didn’t take their job or bills seriously, you can certainly learn from them

Firstly, Been a Computer Science graduate, I want to believe that your passion will really be in the area of ICT... You can add the sales of Laptop, Tablet and other IT gadgets to your existing computer engineering work. You should just decide whether you want to be importing these gadgets or you will look for an importer at Computer Village who can be selling those gadgets for you at a reduced price.

Secondly, you can use the money with you to do some CERTIFICATION programme on Networking and/or other hot cake ICT area, which upon completion, you will just be writing proposal to various company in order to secure a contract from them.

Finally, you can sit down and think where your passion lies, what did you really love doing even if the money is not much; you can just venture into such business, as passion is always the prerequisite of success in any business.

I wish you success in your endeavour.
