IslamMuslim Singles: Why Are You Not Married? by Wizeboy(op): 10:10am On Dec 11, 2014
Marriage refers to the mutual relationship ordained by Allah for the believers as an act of worship between two people who love, trust, care, understand and respect each other for the sake of Allah; so as to attain jannah, procreate children, fulfill their sexual desires, unite and enjoy companionship forever with its continuation in paradise
in shaa Allah.

The Prophet (pbuh) said: “Three matters should not be delayed: prayer when its time comes, burial when the funeral has arrived, and the marriage of a single woman when a well-suited man has proposed.” [Tirmidhi]

Why should you delay marriages then?
The Prophet (pbuh) addressed the youths encouraging them to get married as soon as they are capable of shouldering the responsipility of marriage saying:
“O youth! Whoever amongst you is able to marry, let him marry, because it helps him keep his eyes away from lustful looks and preserve his chastity. And whoever is not able to marry, let him observe fasting, as it is a shield for him (i.e. protection from lapsing in fornication).” [Agreed Upon]

Early marriage doesn’t mean that the spouses could be not mature and responsible, the Qur’an hints saying:
“If you find them of sound judgement.” (An-Nisa': 6) That means puberty or marriageable age is not enough to be qualified for marriage. If a son is capable to run a household life and he is able to maitain mentally, psychologically and financially and everything of his wife, then early marriage is the only way to keep our children away from haram.

Marriage is a great tradition of the Prophet (SAW). Brothers and sisters in Islam, why are you still single? Are you not tired of having wet dreams and staring at the opposite (non-mahram) gender?

Is it financial issue? Money is not an enough excuse for you because some companions were almost penniless as at the time they married. Allah promises to enrich
married couples from his bounties. If unemployment is your excuse? Allah promises to make a way for you from sources that you couldn't have imagined.

Is it tribalism? Allah said He created us from a single pair of male and female and made us into nation and tribes so that we may know each other.

Is it your fear of heartbreak? The prophet said; what hit you couldn't have missed you and what missed you couldn't have hit you.

Is it because you dislike early marriage and you want to graduate from school before marriage?
Allah said: "Perhaps you dislike a thing but in reality it's good for you and perhaps you love a thing but In reality it's bad for you"

Is it because you want to have your own car/house first? The Prophet said: whoever trust Allah sincerely, Allah will provide for him just the way He provides for the birds who go out in the morning empty and return home satisfied.

Dear single brothers and sisters, what then is your excuse and why have you refused to marry? Don't you believe in the words of Allah and the sayings of the Prophet?

Trust in Allah and get married irrespective of your situation once you met the right brother/sister. Allah said: "Has the time not come for the believers that their hearts should be affected by the Qur'an and to embrace the truth which has been revealed" -(Surah hadeed:16)

Once a person reaches puberty, he naturally starts getting inclined to the other gender, because he/she has feelings and emotions running through the veins and hearts which has to be fulfilled either through the halal way or haram way.

Some people are born with high level of shahwa (sexual desire) while some have low hawa. This is why you see today in primary and secondary schools, small children now go to the bushes and uncompleted buildings to have haram fun (zina and its preliminaries). On valentines day, that's the day of zina especially in tertiary institutions.

If every family follows Qur'anic injunctions in conjunction with the sunnah of the Prophet and forms the habit of giving out their children or encourage their children to marry as soon as they are mature emotionally and a male child is financially buoyant, then many people will be married with their chastity intact.

Another thing that increases temptation in people is all these TV and western media we watch everyday. It's part of the agenda of the unbelievers to create a Godless society where people will now fornicate like chickens, that's why they entice through their movies with lots of
romantic scenes and this is what corrupts young minds today; may Allah protect us.

“Early marriage is recommended as long as the requirements of marriage are met including the ability of each of the spouses to fulfill his marital duties and protect his/her partner against temptation. The husband should also be able to shoulder the financial responsibilities at the sufficiency level. There is no specific age for marriage according to Shari`ah but the criterion is the capability of both spouses.”

BROTHERS AND SISTERS, is time to access yourself properly and marry that brother/sister you have found compatible in order to complete the other half of your deen and earn reward from Almighty Allah who prescribe marriage to all Muslim.

BusinessBefore You Quit Your Job To Become An Entrepreneur by Wizeboy(op): 4:37pm On Dec 08, 2014
You could be wondering, sitting on the fence with an idea or a desire to start your own business. Inspiration to start a business comes through many different sources and not all reasons are valid enough to pursue a business.

For instance, bragging/showing off or getting fed up of being answerable to your boss all the time isn't the right reason to start your own company. Because when you do, you are then answerable to your employees, customers, partners/investors, etc.

So, before you do take those first steps, you must know the landscape where your feet will land on. Being aware is the first step towards taking the right decision.

Your Business Must Solve a Problem

Whatever you decide to do as a business, always start with a problem that a specific category of people have or one that you have encountered yourself. Do not start up because market research states great potential for your industry.

Go the extra mile in finding out what challenges people are facing, and then build your product or service to address that. Nearly every successful company built to survive, solved a problem for a defined group of people. For example, Dropbox solved the problem of syncing files across multiple devices. WhatsApp solved the problem of messaging (without incurring messaging costs) across multiple phone manufacturers.

Procrastination is Dangerous/Startup Killer

* “Only put off until tomorrow what you are willing to die having left undone” ― Pablo Picasso

The first step of starting a venture is to start one. If you want to start your business, shut up and start up. If you don't act on your idea today, someone else is bound to stumble up on it and take it to market before you can.

No idea is unique until it is executed, for the difference lies in the execution than the idea. Google wasn't the first search engine when it was launched. There were many others. But what differentiated Google was its execution (algorithm) of the existing idea.

The day you decide to startup, is the day you should take the plunge. There is no right time or moment to start your business and you will never be able to imagine all the possible things that can go wrong even before taking your first step. Cross that bridge when you get to it.

* “Procrastination is the thief of time, collar him.” ― Charles Dickens, David Copperfield

Failure is One of the Prerequisite of A Business

* “Only those who dare to fail greatly can ever achieve greatly.” - Robert F. Kennedy

If you are going to startup, you are bound to fail. For in failure are life's little secrets. For in failure is where you will discover a pivot that can make your product or service successful. Angry Birds was the 52nd attempt that finally made it for Rovio. PayPal was Max Levchin's fifth attempt at entrepreneurship that finally won him the things he deserved. So embrace failure.

You cannot learn to ride a bike by reading how to ride one. You've got to hop onto one, fall a few times, but then you get up and hop on again. And only then will you gain the confidence and the balance to ride free. This is exactly how it works in startups too.

* “If you’re not prepared to be wrong, you’ll never come up with anything original.” - Ken Robinson

Capital is a Bane

This holds true for mainly tech ventures. The more money startups have had in their initial days, the more mistakes they have made. So it's a good thing that you do not have capital to startup as you wouldn't foolishly hire professionals more than you need or rent a fancy office space, which is irrelevant on day one.

If you want to start a product company, bootstrap. Pool in your resources from savings or borrow from friends or family. There are many more ways of raising money to build your product. But importantly, get a proof of concept done (outsource if you must) and get some traction before you take it to investors.

If you plan to start a services business, then get your first client, and then hire a team to work on it or simply outsource. Deliver a fantastic service and then work your way into setting up your own team.

So, here having established the ground for taking your first steps as an entrepreneur. This was the easy part. The hard part is to quit your job and take the first step. And the day you break free, that is the day your fears will be laid to rest. Because, that's the day you've just learnt to take your first step and there's no stopping henceforth.

“Everything you want is on the other side of fear.” - Jack Canfield

The goods are normally receive at the nearest post office close to the address you provided when ordering for the goods.

But there have been some few case in the past where post office officials delivered to the person's house but not common and I will advice you not to wait for such opportunity. Once you receive call from post office that your goods has arrive, kindly go there to collect it.
IslamRe: What is the Islamic Ruling On Taking Insurance Policies? by Wizeboy(m):
Asalam Alaykum Waramotullahi Wabarakatuh

Commercial Insurance is strictly disallowed for Muslims.

Islam however been a complete religion and ways of life provide for all human needs. ISLAM has its kind of Insurance which is called "Takafu".

TAKAFU is defined as an Islamic insurance concept which is grounded in Islamic muamalat (Islamic banking), observing the rules and regulations of Islamic law. It is a co-operative system of reimbursement in case of loss, paid to people and companies concerned about hazards, compensated out of a fund to which they agree to donate small regular contributions managed on behalf by a Takaful Operator.

The principles of takaful are as follows:

a. Policyholders cooperate among themselves for their common good.
b. Policyholders contributions are considered as donations to the fund (pool)
c. Every policyholder pays his subscription to help those who need assistance.
d. Losses are divided and liabilities spread according to the community pooling system.
e. Uncertainty is eliminated concerning subscription and compensation.
f. It does not derive advantage at the cost of others.

Takaful is always in form of cooperative or mutual insurance, where members contribute a certain sum of money to a common pool. The purpose of this system is not profits, but to uphold the principle of "bear ye one another's burden". Commercial insurance is strictly disallowed for Muslims (as agreed upon by most contemporary scholars) because it contains the following elements:
1. Al-Gharar (uncertainty)
2. Al-Maisir (gambling)
3. Riba (usury)

TAKAFU Insurance policy are common in Asia and Muslim countries and are also common in South Africa but some Nigeria insurance company have started seeing a need to establish TAKAFU policy in Nigeria as well. The only Nigeria Insurance company, which I know that offer TAKAFU Policy in Nigeria right now is Cornerstone Insurance Plc.

But I know so many Insurance companies might want to start in the future with the guidelines of TAKAFU Insurance policy that the National Insurance Commission released recently for any interested insurance companies that want to partake in such policy. You can read about the guideline on: http://naicom.gov.ng/content?id=147

When the goods/parcel arrives ,are there extra charges when one wants to clear it up@the post office?
No extra charges is require to clear your goods at the post office when it arrives as the total cost of shipping has been paid by the seller but due to the corruption that's rampant in Nigeria, try to hold like N500 you will just give the officials, because sometimes, they ask for little tip before your goods will be released.

They can even deceive you by saying it is official money and there's receipt for it but all are lies, just give them in order not to delay your precious time.

@wizeboy, problem o. I cnt track my order. It is showing nt found after almost 2 weeks i ordered it. What shld i do?
Track your order @ www.17track.com, but it might take up to 5 to 7 days before you will be added to track your goods sometimes. If it is still showing not found and its up to 2 weeks now, kindly send message to the seller so that he can check with the post office over there and explain the reason for not show.

But I guess the delay might be caused by the Double 11 aliexpress and all other stores did on November 11 whereby they sold there goods at more cheaper rate and the goods sent to post office at that particular alone worth up to billions of dollars. You can google Double 11 to read about the promo and how it normally slow down shipping during the time they always hold it.

All in all, try to contact your seller for explanation on what is delaying the tracking from showing.

does the quantity of wristwatches matter in any way?
Yes, it matters a lot... The larger the quantities of any goods you order, the lesser the cost of the product. You can buy a product at the rate of $15 while buying 20pieces of the same product might reduce the price to $10 and below depending on your bargaining power.

If you now want to deal in such product in very large quantities, you can just go to the manufacturers/suppliers directly at alibaba for very low and competitive price.

am worried a bit now, i am tracking the movement of my Goods via DHL, my problem is since my goods got to Nigeria since three day past but is still showing custom status, why is dat.
Custom might have held down your goods, kindly go to DHL website to copy their customer care phone number and call them to know the latest status of your goods. If custom have held down your goods, you might need to ask the seller to send you invoice of the goods, in which custom or DHL will ask you to send to them in order for your goods to be cleared, you might also be asked to pay some certain amount of money.

People who know, don't always like using DHL to ship unless you have asked your seller to understate the price of the goods or quote it as a gift, if not, this kind of problem always arise.

i hv bn monitoring dis thread. I hv a problem. I hv already registered in aliexpress, the goods there are expensive and they are nt dat easy to sell. For instance, the price of those watches there, if converted 2 naira wl b clocking 3,500. Hw much cn i sell such watch. And hw many ppl cn buy such watch.
If you search well, you will see wristwatches that are not too expensive and even all those you call N3,500 will worth N6,000 and above in Nigeria, just try to search well. You don't need to search only the first page, you are free to search all the pages and go for anyone you know you can sell well.

Moreso, the price some of the sellers normally quote are not always the final price, if you want to buy more than 1 piece or assure him of always buying from him and that you sell the wristwatch to customers, some seller can reduce the quoted price up to 50% percent for you. I have bought a product of $23 for $10 before based on the fact that I decided to buy like 5 pieces and also promised him to always patronise his store. Everything is about strategy bro and your bargaining power.

If you use free shipping option, it normally takes between 2 weeks to 6 weeks for your goods to arrive at the nearest post office to the address you provided, it all depends on the type of postal service your seller use.

My investment in tissue paper conversion is ready but still having challenge on how to pick a name.
Please if you have idea on how to go abt these problems, I'll appreciate your contribution:
1) how do I pick a name so it doesn't clash with an already existing one in the market.
2) do I need registeration with any government commission (I'm seeking a way to avoid tax for @ least next 6 months since my capital is low, lots of running expenses without any profit yet)
3) do we have tissue paper manufacturers union in Anambra, Delta & Lagos? If yes how do I join them

Help needed pleassssss

Help needed
1) Formulate a very unique name that you know is not popular, avoid the use of common name like Victor Nig. Ltd, but you can try to be unique with the name like for example if your name is Victor Ezekiel, you have use Victze Nigeria Limited and so on. Search for such name with Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) before you will start using it. It is very simple to make search in CAC and you don't need any Lawyer to do that for you. Kindly go to the nearest CAC Office closer to you and obtain the "AVAILABILITY FORM" with the sum of N500 only and fill it. Check back in the next two weeks or so for the result. You have opportunity to fill 3 different names on the Form.

2) Register with CAC after which any of the 3 suggested names are approved, as this will give your business some legal backing and safe you from stress of litigation in the future. Registration of Limited Liability Company should not cost you more than 70k if you contact some lawyers. But if you don't have such money for now, kindly register your business under PART B "Business Name" to secure the name, after which you can turn it to a Limited Liability Company in the future with a help of Lawyer by filling some document with CAC.

MeriTrade is an online stockbroking service powered by Meristem Securities Ltd that allows investors buy and sell shares/bonds.

You must however know about shares/bond to operate this Account because you will always be in charge of your Account by buying and selling stocks/bonds at your wish. Meristem only create this platform for easy trading of shares by individuals and not that they will be operating it on your behalf.

Kindly do more research on it.

ok thanks for d info but, dont u think that using debit card will put buyer at risk because i know that once u pay with debit card the money will be taken from ur account immediatly to sellers account, what happends when seller did not perform, how do u recover ur money?
You are wrong, when the money is taken from your Account through the ATM transaction, it goes into an intermediary Account which is known as Escrow, the money will never be released to the seller until you receive your goods and are satisfy with it.

If you didn't receive the goods within the specify days and/or the goods are not as described, you are free to open dispute, in which if your claim is genuine, your money will be return to you by Escrow service. Escrow Service is the main reason I insist newbie use their ATM Card to process any payment made in aliexpress or Dhgate for proper safety of their hard earned money.

i hv run some check but the only approved method of transfering moni to ur DHpay Account is bank transfer and western union. can give me the link about ATM debit card pls?
You don't need to transfer money to any DHPay Account as I said earlier. You can pay for any goods you buy on Dhgate with your Mastercard or Visa ATM Card.

Select any product of your choice, then stroll down to click on BUY IT NOW, another page will pop up where your Shipping Address will be required, you will fill all the necessary information after which you click on proceed to payment, at the page of payment, many options are always available to pay depending on the seller, some sellers have PAYPAL, Debit Card, Western Union, DHPAY and so on.

Select Debit Card and choose your debit card type either Mastercard or VISA, fill in the necessary card information and your order will be successful.

Ensure that you confirm the total cost of the goods perfectly before proceed to pay.
