So Donjazet supported Buhari in 2019? Wow. 2015 is understandable. But 2019? unforgivable. I will never rate Donjazet or take his words seriously again. Of course, I'm a nobody and Donjazet can care less about me since my opinion about him doesn't count in the grand scheme of life. I might even prefer to understand people like OasisX and Raumdeuter who at least stuck to their guns, speak more politely and hardly cuss people out for their political choices. This Saturday, I'll vote for Peter Obi, but I will never take Donjazet seriously again. Anyone that has insulted others miserably for refusing to support Peter Obi should not be someone that supported Buhari again in 2019. |

BlueRayDick: Baba at this point I believe it's exhausting trying to convince anybody again. If the travails of the last 8 years has not taught the common man(not party faithfuls o) a lesson, nothing else will.
I engaged an elderly woman yesterday(She's a senior civil servant who works in the ministry of education). She was heaping curses on Emefiele for the woes of the common man due to the naira redesign and all. Then I told her it appears her curses are misdirected/not all inclusive cos I don't think she listened to Buhari's broadcast. She agreed she didn't listen.
Then I told her to try and check it out or read the manuscript. She should watch how Buhari used "I" first person singular pronoun in most parts where he talked about the policy. He kept on saying "I authorised", " I consulted", "I directed"... etc. I told her Buhari did it and owned it with his chest that maybe she should think about that.
This woman then went on another round of curses directed at Buhari and started talking about how he is doing all of this to sabotage "asiwaju" and he will be put to shame in Jesus name. She then ranted about how Buhari has misruled us for 8 years and that she has a 2018 graduate in her house which she still feeds cos he couldn't get a job under this Buhari administration ( Surprisingly she voted Buhari for second term in 2019 o; I discovered this from her asiwaju talks)
Guess what? She is determined to vote asiwaju of APC in 2023 and believes he will win cos he will get sympathy votes from people who feel he's being persecuted. She went on to talk about never contemplating voting Obi cos she isn't "Ọmọ àlè". Only an ọmọ àlè will vote for Obi leaving Tinubu. She is not interested in whatever he wants to do. At this point I knew my job was done.
What even intrigued me more about her was that she confessed she has relocated her PVC to somewhere on the island cos she wants to vote for a certain house of reps APC candidate whom she wants to win.(God knows whatever promise that person might have promised her and the political group she is leaning towards). She said her husband was even concerned that this one she's carrying the election matter for head as if any of her family members were on the ballot.
Now imagine the length that woman would go to vote APC back into power despite complaining of suffering under the same APC government.... There's no level of enlightenment that would make that woman not vote APC, she's made her mind up.
In Nigeria I believe the people know the truth but the truth didn't make them free. Why? Because they don't want to be free! Sometimes I think regardless of prayers, God gives people a right and freedom to choose their leaders. Same way the Israelites cried out for Saul instead of the leadership of God and his prophets. If Nigerians willingly vote for APC again, they deserve everything they get. Just that everyone will suffer for the decision of the majority. |

SmartPolician: Are you an INEC staffer? Stop quoting me if you are not because e-channels can do almost everything cash transactions do.
The last time I checked, NYSC doesn't pay corpers using cash. Besides, CBN has branches in all the 36 states and the FCT. They kicked off Cash Swap program that targets unbanked Nigerians in rural communities. Those corps members should access cash through that channel, if they really need cash.
Unless the CBN drops this policy, everyone must embrace it. Cashless payments have more benefits than carrying cash about. Our problem is that we are obsessed with cash payments, and we are struggling to come to terms with the new normal. NYSC pays bicycle/transport allowance in cash. That's the first money corpers get in NYSC camp. It's meant to cover their transport expenses. |

Spy360: 1. Seun said no one can save Nigeria and referred to Peter Obi as an opportunist.
2. Peter Okoye said if no one can rescue Nigeria does that include his father Fela, since his father fought for the good of the country. Shame x3
3. Seun now said he is not like Peter Okoye who fools around with politicians
4. Peter Okoye then said Seun is a no body without his surname
Which lie dey here again? These are two men fighting
Na una wey misinterpreted the whole thing to make it sound like Peter Okoye attacked Fela. Probably to cover the shame of Seun not being a up to PS levels.
No one will attack Fela knowing what he has achieved. But this shouldn't be a cloak to wrap his kids when they misbehave. 1. Peter Okoye said Seun Kuti has erased his father's legacy. That is a very foolish thing to say. Fela's legacy is too great to be erased by the random utterance of his son. 2. Peter Okoye referred to the shrine as a "local shrine" Another stupid disparaging talk. |

DontBullshitMe: I know I'm calling it early but Atiku will win this election.
The momentum is too high, Northern rallies are too convincing. He's unstoppable at the moment.
Prepare Yourself. I have a feeling too. Sadly, it's either Atiku or Tinubu. Atiku will win the north and he has the best chance of getting 25% in most states. The major factors against Atiku winning is the power of incumbency, the forces of INEC and the police plus APC's vote buying. Nigerians are so bleeped up that they haven't suffered enough. And they are so tribalistic that they can't realize that Peter Obi is a better option. |
