Eviction twist loading.
With the way the producers have overhyped various things this season, I won't be surprised if the twist is that they evict 4 people out of 6 instead of evicting 3 people so they'll have five people in the finals.

What kind of family drop their 6-year old child to be used as an house help? A 6-year-old house help? A freaking child! A child that should be in primary school enjoying cheap sweets and goodies, yet being forced to do hard labor. Have we no shame or empathy in this country?
Both the girl's parents and the maltreater are to blame. Why give birth to children that you can't take care of? |

He's worried if they took care of Nini and gave her food. He's thinking that she's still angry with him over their fight. He even said that he stole her picture.
Now he's breaking Big Brother rules by saying that fans must vote for Nini for her stress. He said that they are all up for eviction and fans must recognize all these and vote for them.
Pere tells him to forget all that. He tells Saga that things don't work like that outside and you can't predict the outside world. |

Pere said that the camera was on his face for hours while he was pacing around. He was just too aware to fall asleep. He said that he his subconscious and instincts was strongly keeping him awake.
He said that the moment he closed his eyes, the door opened and he heard Nini running downstairs. He said he jumped up immediately, but he could only see the backside of her figure as she ran. |

Gentlefury: I visualized you straining yourself mentally to work up a sweat and compose this embarrassment of what seems to be an attention-seeking comeback than a decent rebuttal.
I'm not the person on who you should project your deep anger at an obvious lack of care growing up. I'm also not to blame for your tragically absent level of comprehension. But i'm an equal-opportunity adherent and i deeply believe even special needs folks like your good self are capable of meaningful contributions so i'll indulge you with an analysis of the points in your response.
For starters, can you please itemize the points where i failed to achieve coherence? It would help me know exactly what you're on about.
And you seriously overestimate my need for validation, so i see no harm in being called a "grandpa" , owning my age and my generation, than to be a sniffing wimp of a bat like you shuffling between a whiff of the maturity many Millennials are supposed to have with your embarrassing desperation to come across as being younger than you are by acting like the cool kid with an endless supply of witty retorts. Just like you've made a mess of making a profitable meaning out of your almost 3 decades on this planet, you've once again failed at this simple task.
Check our comments and determine with even your deficient IQ who started with the name-calling and insults.
Your half-baked education is also the reason why you couldn't see that i drew 2 parallels between separate generations drawing their origins from the tail-ends of preceding generations. But like a child eager to impress his estranged dad, you just wanted to show me that you can yab!
That you earn your living in a sector doesn't mean you know anything about the human resource aspect of that sector. Let me humour you since you are most likely about to name-drop :- What's the age range of the oldest Patricia staff? What's the average age of Paystack staff? Google Nigeria? Facebook Nigeria? Centric Gateway? Tek experts? The Andela you mentioned earlier? Or general tech startups from 2016, barring the relative oldies like Interswitch and System Specs? If you can't accurately answer at least 2 of these questions then why open your putrid pie hole in the first place you this wannabe youngster?
Again, don't embarrass all the people that called you smart. Nigeria caught on to the Cryptocurrency wave, but it's still a novelty considering that it's trading dynamics are a different game from trading FX and not even one communist country has managed to exert some regulatory control on it - it disgraced even Emefiele's attempt at limitation last year, so forget your weak bragging, many people still don't know much about it, hence the need for skilled agents like Patricia. It's still a hard nut to crack, hence the reason criminals love it (ask Pankieroy), so what's with this rubbish your trying to do? Did you see me directly translate this to academic soundness or as one example of how well modern day cybercriminals stash money using knowledge of advanced fintech?
You were dismissive of my specific critique of a major aspect of Gen Z music, the SoundCloud genre, and i countered that it shouldn't even classify as coherent music, stating that Nigerian Gen Z kids were better off with superior Alte Cruise sounds and much better artists. How did this turn to a contradictory statement? Are you a truly a product of a recognized university? Are you really this mentally retrogressive in person? I shudder to think of the huge catastrophe your employer is risking by just having a primate-in-disguise like you on its payroll!!!
Your last paragraph....... really? Very anticlimactic to be honest considering you held yourself out as being an intellectually orgasmic delight, only to end up disappointing me serially like Churchill and Kpokpogri took turns in doing to Tonto( she was the baddest chick in my day, kids like you wouldn't know).
You also had to involve other innocent members of this thread that came online for a cruise only to be confronted by your foul smell, and empty ITK , having the guts to call them "Ignoramuses" whereas your brand of stupidity has been known to be legally punishable with death in some countries!!! Why did you have to waste my precious time with your pseudo-commonsense? Do you hate me that much?!!! See how worked up you are. You spill trash for your fellow ignoramuses with no one to counter you. Now you're getting so worked up because of me. How you dey Grandpa? How long did it take you to come up with that writeup? How does it feel to want to be right so desperately, and yet be so wrong? After all the years of parading yourself as an intellectual, only to be owned by your grandkid mate. Painful right? E choke abi? Pages of essay, just for me. Paystack staff? Google Nigeria? Facebook Nigeria? Centric Gateway? Tek experts? The Andela you mentioned earlier? The average person working in those companies are millennials. If you can't get that after me hammering it to you at thrice, it's not my fault that you've got the comprehension of a toddler despite your old age. Only an ignorant nonentity that thinks he knows more than what he does will assume that those companies are mostly populated with GenZs. You have no point Bro. No point. The average GenZ isn't more academically sound than the generations ahead of them. Nothing you've said proves this. The average Gen Z hasn't experienced any abnormal success that the world hasn't seen before. Abeg, Patricia and PiggyVest aren't owned by Gen Zs. Using crypto doesn't make you intelligent. If you think otherwise, I can only imagine your IQ. Yahoo boys are not hackers. Like I said earlier, all you do is to post nonsense writeups on BBnaija threads for your fellow ignoramuses because you feel one will point out your intellectual bereftness. Now you nyash has been opened and you're writing long threads trying to cover up for your gaffes. Na wa for this Grandpa o! Next time you'll verify your facts before posting trash. And no, I won't do the job for you if you're too lazy to do that. Perhaps, you're too busy with your old man duties. |

Gentlefury: This is blind arrogance talking just because i correctly identified you as intellectually inferior here.
You think the Gen Z designation just came up? What you classify yourself as is irrelevant, people like you seem prone to identity issues.
The Gen Z movement came off the tail-end of the Millennial generation the same way Gen X and the hippies came on the tail-end of the postwar generation, the Beatniks(Mods in the UK)- the actual originators of the counterculture movement.
Don't be mentally lazy skimming off quick points from Google search results. Properly research the topic and then come prepared.
Cite at least 4 examples of tech start-ups having more Millennials bearing in mind that most people typically graduate at 23-24 for government universities and 21 for private universities.
Andela..... Nairaland......Jobberman.... are/were these tech companies in the strictest sense? Or were they just businesses that leveraged off the internet through websites while still maintaining brick and mortar operating structures? When did Jobberman finally push out its app, an arguable flop? Or you just feel like faffing around today?
Yes, if knowing Interswitch makes me 'old', then i proudly own it, which is more of a reason for you to defer to my greater knowledge on this topic.
I find it baffling that you think we're mates to necessitate you thinking you can make snarky comments with me. If you're battling with daily comprehension blame it on the school that churned you out and no one else - the Yahoo citation was used to buttress that these Cyber criminals aren't like the Corduroy pants wearing urchins of 2003-2009, these current ones have gone into full-time hacking, laundering proceeds mainly through cryptocurrency as against the surface Camry muscle and Mercedes-Benz cars they roll with. It takes more than your typical Marlian to think that far.
Go to the Google you're skimming comeback material from and check specific cases like Unilag convocation records since 2012 to check the number of 1st class graduates produced instead of indirectly telling me to research on your behalf.
You're a flying fool if you think most of that SoundCloud rubbish qualifies as good music. Music at the very least has to come with audible words and the artists at the very least need to be sober. It's why the noise pollution goes so we'll with funny drugs from Lean,Purple, Molly to a wide range of names. We're more fortunate here in Nigeria with Alte Cruise and even more dedicated young artistes following the lead of Burna and Wizkid.
ENDSARS was all them, older generations punked out because typically from your late 20s upwards, your brain starts warning you to 'take am easy'. Those kids were legit heroes, and they died very bravely. It was even Millennials and older folks that complained about them being sort of a nuisance. It was an amorphous, leaderless, spontaneous and collective outburst of anger, and they seem very willing to do it again.
You should really learn to canvass your arguments intelligently without the need for name-calling like a bus conductor. It's why i had to indulge you in the same language to show you that no one has the monopoly of a foul mouth. The problem with you is you fail to prove your arguments or make a single coherent point despite your long ramblings and your verbosity. Name-calling like a bus conductor? Easy grandpa. You started with the derogatory words and you continued with it. Keep it up. I'm much more civilised than that unlike you uncouth BBN thread stans. Most Nigerian tech startups has more millennials than Genzs working there. I work in the ICT space as do most of my friends and I'm much more knowledgeable than you there. You just sit in a dingy, dusty corner of your bed and make careless assumptions, thus misleading others. 26, 27, 28 and 29 years olds are millennials. That is a fact that you haven't debunked. Instead you're writing trash about Beatniks, hippies and all that. People like you beat about the bush with lengthy writeups intended to confuse, rather than admit that you were wrong. You'll rather bask and drown in your ignorance than learn. Full-time hacking? Yahoo boys = full-time hacking? You know nothing, Jon Snow. And using crypto= being academically sound? Omo! The bar is so low for you. Crypto that any average educated person can use to push funds around. Move around GrandPa and educate yourself. The world isn't a 19th century relic anymore. I've never mentioned Soundcloud in any of my writeups, so the fool must be you. Na you talk about Soundcloud and alte. Na you still refer to yourself as fool. . Sorry, Grandpa, take your meds so you won't forget your own writeup next time. From your writeup, it's so clear that you're actually the one skimming random points off Google to decieve your fellow ignoramuses on this thread. |
TV/Movies › Re: BBNaija 2021 Live Updates Thread by wman(m): 11:05pm On Sep 22, 2021 |
Gentlefury: You're eager to pass your knowledge of as valid by checkmating my points abi? Okay let me indulge you.
Gen Z typically stops at the ceiling of 24 years, but what we call the Gen Z proper are actually the offshoots of the tail-end of the millennials, many of them currently at the ceiling age of 29, a set that was distinctively noticeable for everything from their type of music to attitudes on sex and career goals. I personally witnessed this difference when i ran my since-deferred Nysc in 2013. Talking about smoking grass or drinking beer around these guys automatically gave you away as an oldie, straight lowcuts, straight jeans and loafers could have led to being called a parent.
The millennials were the last set to be taught the ideas of conformity and seeing success in very few areas outside the confines of the rat-race 9-5 job plan. I've seen the office layouts of companies like Patricia, very few or no millennial could have dared to think that far, any of us you'll find in tech would be in either Interswitch, Paycom or Unified payments. Before Microsoft, Google , Yahoo and the likes of Facebook, how many of us Millennials in Nigeria dared to dream that far? How many of us in music dared to venture without the backing of godfather record labels the way most of them are doing? The cool kids among them even formed their own Nigerian SoundCloud genre, Alte Cruise!
You also need to watch your language so that you don't seem no different from the Gen Z kids you're castigating. You should know that ideas typically flow at a slower and diffused rate between first and 3rd world countries. And yes, these guys are legit very brainy. Google academic records and school graduation rates between Gen X, Millennials and Gen Z, check the number of 1st class graduates coming out of even Federal universities today, check out the more complex and scientific forms of Yahoo these little monsters actually carry out today, forget about mutations like the Marlians.
Another thing about Gen Z is their unusually high interest in politics. Say what you will, these kids singlehandedly put all of us to shame with #Endsars. They walked the walked, and very bravely died, but they finally ended SARS that messed up and violated Millennials since 2005, even putting Tinubu to flight in the process!
It doesn't mean they're perfect though. Their filthy SoundCloud music, wide variety of weird drug use, and very very disturbing ideas about sexuality and gender identity are worrisome issues, but it's up to older generations to guide them right. It's also worrisome that they think they know everything, hence their arrogance and lack of manners in many cases.
They'll learn eventually, hopefully without losing themselves in the process.
As for your comments on porn, don't blame human deviance on one generation, so it's the Gen Z kids alone that made Nigeria the number 1 porn-loving country on Earth? It was Gen Z that brought runsgirls and sugar daddy syndrome? It was Gen Z that gave up their virginities over Blackberry phones and BB pins? If you have some beef with them because they somehow have more supple-looking skin than yours just admit it, but call them out where necessary - and don't ever think you're intellectually fit enough to give me a verbal wedgie. After all this, you didn't make much sense. The oldest Gen Z according to most definition is 24 years old. You referring to someone that is 29 years old (5 years older) as Gen Z is nonsense and a blatant attempt to twist facts. I've never seen a single argument or survey where a 27, 28 or 29 years old is referred to as Gen Z. Most tech startups in the country have more millennials than Gen Z working there. I'm in my late twenties. I'm a millennial, not a Gen Z. See you talking about Interswitch. You be GrandPa o! Like Andela, Nairaland, Jobberman and co didn't exist. You haven't brought out a single proof to show that Gen Z are better academically than millennials. Imagine bringing out Yahoo as a proof. Yahoo that if any sure nigga gives you format, you'll copy and replicate same. Yahoo na sign of academic success? Massive facepalm for you. Surveys and results from academicians says otherwise. In Nigeria here, there was an abysmal failure rate in JAMB and WAEC. In the US, they want to revamp their educational system as average grades keep dropping. Same for several other western and Asian countries. Bring out a single proof to show that Gen Z are better academically. All that talk of Gen Z music makes no sense. Music has always gone through various evolutions. They did well with EndSars. But EndSars was a collective movement fueled by the lockdown and the Black Lives Matter movement. As for their interest in politics? That remains to be seen or confirmed. 26, 27, 28 and 29 years old are millennials. Not Gen Z. Saying a 29-year-old is a Gen Z is intellectually dishonest. |
TV/Movies › Re: BBNaija 2021 Live Updates Thread by wman(m): 10:14pm On Sep 22, 2021 |
Gentlefury: I think it's a badge of credibility with Gen Z kids to be as brazen, brash and disrespectful as can be. It doesn't help that they're the first generation to combine a carefree attitude backed up by recreational use of weird drugs with a very abnormal high success rate in academics and even life itself e.g Abeg, Patricia and Piggyvest are Gen Z companies owned by goofy-looking youths.
But like the rest of us, they'll be wisened and humbled by age. I know you love Angel but the girl needs to watch it. Boma was very close to beating the exuberance out of her, that you're in the same space wearing silly Abeg pajamas and eating food provided by sponsors DOESN'T mean you're truly on the same level, there's still life after the show and such a thing as respect in the sense of courtesy to everyone you meet different from the type you earn. Haven't you noticed that it's the females that usually take advantage of this "We are all equal in Big brother's house" to be very provocative? Some people already believe they're not winning the money anyway, they might just snap and pull a Kayvee on you and then happily chop disqualification and possible police arrest. Abeg, Patricia and Piggyvest are owned by millennials and not Gen Z. A lot of old high-flying videogame programmers, rock stars, stock analysts and all used drugs and alcohol. It's nothing new. Tech geeks are known for their goofy dressing. Abnormal success rate in academics and life? Bullshit. The most suicidal generation with feeble mental health. The generation with bad grades all over that is a serious source of concern in all continents ranging from Nigeria to USA to China. The generation addicted to smartphones, social media, easy porn and all sort of vices. So bad that China had to restrict their social media use and gaming time due to poor grades. Please o! Verify your facts before posting. You are misleading a lot of people. The second half of your writeup was correct though. |

alexvic12: The truth is that BDCs are partially responsible for the free naira fall.
People go to these websites and get quotes for FX (remember that anybody can just write a figure on their website and others will copy it).
How can the dollar to naira increase by over N50 within a week and we say people are not manipulating the figures?
Nigerians are just after quick gains!
Go to Binance P2P, those guys keep updating new prices every day.
Where do they get their quotes from? Is there a particular official channel that announces the quotes for the day?
If yes, why are they not following the official CBN rates?
Let's be honest!
CBN set a rate, BDCs increased it. Nigerians go along with it and turn around to insult the CBN for the free naira fall.
Tell your relatives, friends, and colleagues who are into BDC to stop increasing the rate anyhow.
Let's stick to the official rates.
P.S: Before you jump to insult me, have you wondered why these BDCs (and P2P) buy high and sell low?
For example, someone buys dollars at N480 and sells to someone else at N500.
Where is the conscience? Dead!
Stick to the official rates! Stick to the official rates ? How? When there is a scarcity of dollars? When there is fuel scarcity, the fuel black market thrives. When there is scarcity of dollars, the black market thrives. No official rate won't change that. The parity between the official rate and Black market wasn't much before this administration came into power. I remember when CBN admitted that they spend billions of naira defending the exchange rate every month instead of floating it to the actual price. Ex CBN governor Lamido Sanusi condemned them for this. He said he could make money easily by buying dollars low from the CBN and selling it at the actual rate |
