Option 1. Tell him your husband is not comfortable with your dealings with him, you will appreciate his not communicating with you again...this automatically makes him an enemy of your marriage if he persists, an liable to harsh treatment.

Option 2. Form Vex. Tell him he failed in what you wanted him to do, and that it is his colleague in their business that is still disturbing your peace with noise, right now you want to be left alone by all of them.
