Whether GEJ has account or property abroad na him know, atleast he was able to regulate and pay Nigerians debt for us. I just fear the worse for this present administration, our debt just dey increase like garri wey dem soak for days, and yet the borrower wey we get as president never think to stop. See as senate ginger to approve ₦865b yesterday, cos dem know say na beta cashout for them. Just pray wen all this is over, we don't turn slaves in our own country....

I don't even trust Chinese ppl 1bit, it's said that I'm 2050 the population of China will be too much that they won't be able to accommodate their own country, that's y they all doing all this and even entering African countries most especially ours. They aren't here for our gold, but to take ownership of our country. Thanks to our government that are blinded by the money and grants the Chinese government gives them, they give out this money as loans with little interest for us to pay and we smile and accept it. Meanwhile by doing dis we are just placing ourselves in serious problems. Imagine a country where the covid19 came from, and yet we still accept China to still come help us, it's only God that can help us in this country

People are saying staying home and stay safe, I also agree with that, but the problem I have is, if we are copying the western world and it's not working, y don't we try other means. Let's assume they aren't able to get a cure b4 3-4months time(though just pray it doesn't happen) I'm very sure ppl saying staying at home is safe will be the first people to come out and cry. Our African leaders aren't even trying to get a cure or solution for themselves, instead they are waiting for the westerners to do so and begging for funds from international bodies, I just pray after this whole ish has settled down, the international bodies in question won't say they just borrowed us. Even if the western world say they won't open till June, they have the funds to give their citizens, do African countries have that? Africans should rise and make their own research too, what is bad if we are the ones who find the cure to the covid19, is it bad? Na so so copy copy we like

Africans have always depended on white people for everything, before the pandemic corrupt african politicians always run to the white man's country for treatments when they are sick rather than fixing their own healthcare system, don't be surprised that some of the resources that will be used in producing the vaccines if ever and effective vaccines is found may have come from african soils.

British scientist are trying a new vaccines here in the England, they started this thursday although they are not saying the name of the vaccine as it is still on trials.
Heard a doctor has already volunteered and injected herself with the vaccine, so we waiting for the result

Thank God.

US hv gat the Covid19 medicine. And they inject 53 infected people on 23rd April, 2020. They are under trial and their results will come out soon.

Medicine name is RAMSIVIRI

So that this Nonsense and political figures will stop in NIGERIA.
Bro it's REMDESIVIR, it has already failed first test. My own question is why are Africans waiting for the whites to bring out a drug then they can use, can't we Africans do our research too, so that the whites can get the cure from us? So now if they can't get a cure soon, does Africans think they will be able to survive for so long?

I swear to God we have over 20,000 cases in naija already but testing has just not been efficient enough
Our government can still do more and better
Moreover what are we doing to cure this disease? Or are we just going to keep recording cases and wait on the western world for cure?
Exactly what their plan is, wait for vaccine. No research

Ademoore07:
God bless u. In this your quoted comment, it is acceptable. That is the receives salary from the state govt (AAU) and FG (UNIBEN). What FG is trying to avoid is to get the lecturer paid in both federal institution (say uniben and futa). No sensible lecturer will work that way. So, let them drop their bvn.
Exactly

9jatriot:
You are also correct but in your example you used a state university and a federal university. In this case, I think it is what they refer in academic cycles as visiting lecturers, that is a documented process.
Assuming we take UI and Unilag since they are a little close to each other and are both federal schools. The FG wants to be sure that no lecturer is drawing full salary from both schools. So, if a lecturer in UI happens to be handling a research in Unilag, nothing wrong with that, but FG wants to know what exactly you are doing. So that if there is need to only pay you basic salary in one school and research allowance in the other school, you will be entitled to it. Since the employer says this is what we want, when did employees start dictating mode of payment?
Now this is well explained and understood, but FG self wey dey collect money from almost every corner nko grin grin grin them no go do dem checks and balances now

9jatriot:
Let us use this analogy to answer your question. Imagine a bank like GTB with many branches all over the country. In this case, let FG be the employer the same way GTB is the employer, let the branches be like the different federal universities all over the country.

Now imagine one staff employed in Ado Ekiti branch of GTB and collecting salary from there, can this same staff go to GTB in Aba branch to be working and collecting salary without affecting his work at his parent branch in Ado Ekiti? So FG, the employer is saying if you are in a federal university in Ado Ekiti, let us know you are there and know those in Aba federal university.

Lecturers will argue that sometimes they go on sabbatical leave from one university to the other, a GTB staff will also argue that sometimes, he can leave that Ado Ekiti branch to Aba branch for a period of time for may audit or special job that he has to do. In this case, the employer (GTB) will be aware and pay him accordingly. But ASUU want FG to pay them salary in Ado Ekiti and same thing in Aba university, if you are the employer will you agree?
Bro I understand u very well, but if a lecturer his parent University is uniben and assuming he lectures in business administration, his lecture time is let's say 9am-1pm and then he has another lecture in Ambrose Alli University by 4pm-6pm then it should be the school that invited him that will pay him his salary and not the FG, as far as he does his work well. I don't really see it as much of a problem.
