I recently got a State government teaching job and I was told the start up salary is 60k plus.

I work in a private school where I earn same salary range but I make 150k minimum from home lessons.

My challenge now is which of them I should to continue with and should I leave the school, the lessons will stop because parents always prefer teachers from the school.

2023: PDP Has Valid Governorship Candidate in Delta State
…As Party Charges Deltans to Disregard Social Media Speculations

The attention of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has been drawn to speculations in a section of the social media that our Party had disobeyed an Order of Court with regards to our Governorship candidate in Delta State and that our Party do not have a candidate for the 2023 Governorship election in the State.

For the avoidance of doubt, the PDP makes it abundantly clear and states in very precise and categorical term that our Party had not disobeyed any Order of Court and we have a valid Governorship candidate for the Delta State governorship election in 2023.

However, in the interest and due information of our teeming supporters and the general public, our Party clarifies as follows;

In line with the new Electoral Act, submission of names of candidates is no longer physical but by electronic transmission to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC). Under the electronic process, INEC grants access to its portal to political parties to electronically upload its candidates’ information/particulars; which access for governorship candidates closed on Friday, July 15, 2022.

With reference to Delta State, our Party duly submitted and uploaded the name of Oborevwori Sheriff Francis Orohwedor as the Delta State Governorship candidate of the PDP onto INEC Portal on Friday, July 8, 2022.

On July 18, 2022, three days after the closure of access to the INEC Portal, our Party and INEC received a Court Order directing the substitution of the name of Oborevwori Sheriff Francis Orohwedor with another name. However, given the closure on July 15, 2022, our Party had no access to the INEC Portal

Subsequently, the PDP and INEC were served with Court of Appeal processes comprising; Notice of Appeal, Motion for Stay of Execution and Records of Appeal filed by the candidate whose name was initially uploaded by the Party onto the INEC Portal.

It is instructive to state that under the INEC guideline, the last day for effecting any change of names of candidates for the 2023 general election is September 28, 2022.

For emphasis, the PDP currently has a candidate for the 2023 Governorship election in Delta State. If there be any change drawing from the outcome of the judicial processes, such will be duly and appropriately reflected in compliance with the Order of Court. The PDP as a law-abiding Party has always and will continue to comply with Orders of Court in every matter and situation.

Our Party therefore urges our members, teeming supporters and the people of Delta State to disregard the speculations and remain focused on the platform of the PDP in their determination to consolidate on the achievements of the Governor of Delta State and our Vice-Presidential Candidate, Sen. Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa.

The PDP is fully prepared for the 2023 general elections in Delta State as well as across the nation and will emerge victorious at the polls.

Should he submit documents with the same name to INEC this time, won't he be disqualified for the wrong documents he submitted in 2015?

Sheriff is more popular than Edevbie.

David Edevbie has never won his ward for PDP. David Edevbie has never contested any election. Sheriff has won several elections.

Know it that, if David eventually become the flagbearer, he won't still win his local government. So who will deliver him? .

Yes, I got the gist now. He can even decide to present one of the certificates that have his name matches with the name he filled in nomination form, and he will be freed.
But my fear is that, Sheriff is very unpopular. He will find it difficult to defeat Agege man.

He was also a one time adviser to late president Musa Yaradua.

Ibori simply want to use David Edevbie rejuvenate his failed businesses.

Nice analysis.. osanebi wanted to represent ndokwa fed constituency but okowa wanted nnamdi ezechi..the thing is even delta south will deliver bloc votes alongside Delta north for okowa in presidential election while the vote will be split between APC/lp/PDP in central... edebvie should better pray he wins till supreme Court if not his political career might be over..there are so many loopholes in that judgment like I said sheriff will be re installed, edebvie dragged PDP, INEC and sheriff to court..the appeal by lawyers from sheriff and PDP against edebvie will be a tough one to scale through..if and when he loses his political line Will be fading...

David Edevbie has being in PDP for a very long time but has never won his ward for PDP not to talk of Local Government.

Edevbie has no legacy in all his year in government on his home town Afiesere, in Ughelli North. His only chance is the support of Ibori and the sympathy that Okowa is trying to take who calls the short from Ibori. Outside this, Edevbie can't win.

Okowa will never support Edevbie. The man almost cost him his seat in 2015. He also won't support Agege, I don't see that miracle happening.

Agege / Edevbie is a win win for many top gunners in the state including Ibori but Edevbie has an upper hand.

And Edevbie is also from Ughelli. I know most of his supporters who moved to Agege's camp but with the latest rulings, they are sure going back.

If PDP is disqualified, then it is an easy ride for you party, but if they field David, then the battle will be a tough one. The presidential election will be affected a little but I don't see the PDP pulling a margin of 400k.

Despite the discrepancies Hon. Sheriff 's name, Okowa still went ahead and picked him.
. That's how God punish people who fails to listen to warnings.
