Great submission.

NB1912:
This is one of the reasons why you didn’t meet GTE requirement for visa purpose. Study leave approvals are usually granted to employees to upskill themselves in their current role which can be beneficial to the company. The visa officer did not see the correlation and the benefit of your company granting you a study leave approval to study social work which is totally different from your current role as a legal officer.

In addition, you mentioned that you supported your application with a job advert you are going to apply for after the completion of your studies. Again, this is an issue. Since your company is granting you a study leave, you should always mention that you are returning to your position after your studies to enable you qualify for a senior level role at your organization.

Your solution is simple. Re-apply for a course in line with your profession as a legal officer. Get the same study leave approval from your organization, but this time, the letter should mention that the skill you will acquire after your studies will enable you to qualify for a senior level position within the organization. Then switch to social work once you get to Auzzie.

If you list all the documents you submitted It will be clear if you need to address other possible issues. Cheers!!

I have gained admission and I'm 37. Please due date for the commencement of this new policy?

NB1912:
At the moment, there is no clarity from the government if this new rule will impact existing students or if it will only apply to applications lodged after the implementation date. I guess there will be more news on this in the coming weeks.

Official rate is not N800/AUD
desertboom:
Please, I need clarification.
Someone said Form A is still active but not at subsidized rate anymore. I know the current official rate is at 800 naira per dollar.

Is it possible to use Form A at the moment? I am not in a hurry, even if it takes 3 months

Thank you so much
Frankrobbn1:
Absolutely! Including your personal bank statement is indeed a great idea. It helps demonstrate your personal financial establishment and strengthens your application. By showcasing your own financial status, you provide further evidence of your ability to support yourself during your studies in Canada. This can greatly convince the visa officer of your financial stability and increase the chances of a successful visa application. Remember to ensure that your bank statement reflects a consistent inflow with a reasonable balance in it.

I hope this detailed explanation helps you understand the importance of including a personal bank statement in your application. If you have any more questions or need further guidance, feel free to ask here. Good luck with your Canadian study visa application.

Thank you so much.
My elder brother want to stand in as my sponsor with the required amount of my tuition fees for 1 year, living expense and travel expenses in his account.

My question is, is there still need of me showing my funds as I have some money from my savings and I am married with 3 kids.

Frankrobbn1:
If you have the required funds in your own account and can provide the necessary documentation to prove it, being a single sponsorship can indeed be a strong indication of your financial stability and ability to cover your expenses during your studies in Canada. It shows that you have personal financial resources available to support yourself without relying on someone else.

When applying for a study visa, the key is to demonstrate that you have sufficient funds to cover your tuition fees, living expenses, and other costs associated with your studies. As long as you can provide the required financial documentation and meet the immigration authorities' requirements, being a single sponsorship can be a viable option.

Good evening all.
I want to apply for a master's program in Australia, but my challenge is if I should use self funding or sponsorship.

I can afford a 1 year tuition fees, living can expenses and other fees.

My fear is, if they will grant my visa with just 1 year POF since it's a 2 years program and I am sponsoring myself.

If I choose to use a sponsor, I don't have a sibling who can show from his pay slip such volume of funds. They earn less than a 100k.

Please I will need you advice.
Thank you.
