Was the battery down before it went off? Did you see d charging sign wen u plugged it to power supply? Did the phone fall?

Yes the IMEI number is written under it. You can also check with a code.

Get a new Gionee charger to check if it will charge. But if the problem remain d same you have to change your sub PCBA(charging port).
