Politics / Re: Very Long Queue At Mega Petrol Stations .what Is Happening In Nigeria by wonder233: 1:34pm On May 09 |
In your narrow mind, you've defended whatever persuasion you belong to Let me educate you: The purchasing power of a country's currency within that country is a function of the country's prevailing economic indices. That 4-dollars per litre in America in relative terms may not be as punitive to the American living in America compared to the N1,000 per litre to a Nigerian living in Nigeria. . DaddyCoool: |
Foreign Affairs / Re: Israel Shells Rafah As Biden Vows Arms Suspension by wonder233: 12:10pm On May 09 |
Lol Biden is a clown. Lloyd Austin, the defence henchman says normal arms supply to isarael is going on. Biden took permission from the powerful isreali lobby groups on what he can say to appear good. And they gave him go ahead to issue this statement. Those who understand world politics know what is behind all these conflicts. But low IQ Nigerians, especially of a certain ethnic group are happy their earthly gods are killing people. 1 Like |

Low class have a right. Its the middle class that don't. Laws are made for them. They are rich enough to pay fines but not influential enough to bypass them like the rich. The low class on the other hand are not bothered cos they can't and won't pay fines and have no dignity to lose in the process. Take a look at LASTMA for instance, the VIP SUVs, escort cars, danfos, koropes and okadas break all traffic laws, but nobody apprehends them, but the corollas, camrys, etc are severely dealt with even if they innocently strayed. That's when you hear stuff like "law is law", etc eedimo: |

Don't be an ignorant. Nobody did anyone a favour, the brands got promoted by the show, do you know what that translates to in terms of revenue for them? The way some of you reason ehn! She definitely cheated. When the man says his own side of the story, she would keep quiet. Girls cheat casually, she may have had "just sex" with a colleague. And the man may have chanced upon it. Now, she can wail, cry, shout, claim victim, even commit suicide, but did she cheat? Yes! iLegendd: |

I agree with you. However, you need to understand the system over there is skewered to favour women in issues like this. If he had lost his temper in that video, the system would have latched on that. He would have been labelled "abusive" and they would fleece him for everything he's got and slam a restraining order on him and won't see his kids. If he can't kill them on the spot and go on to live a normal life or make them permanently disabled, then this his response is the best abeg. It is either 100 or 0. Its like in football, one annoying player will provoke you, if you know you can't break both his legs, then just leave him, instead of giving him one slap that won't really do any harm then collect red card and suspension Calitoscassius: |

All the more reason he needed to be this calm more than anything. Any loss of temper, he would lose everything. As for custody, it is almost a given it will be awarded to the woman especially if the kids are underaged. Infidelity is not grounds to deny her that. Only mental or proven financial incapacitation will make it otherwise. Calitoscassius: |

Abroad, a divorce for a man means losing everything he has ever worked for to the woman in the name of alimony. The only way you can escape that is if it is the woman that is initiating the divorce. Even if you have solid proof as this man has, they will still bleed you dry a d give to her as settlement. That is why he had to be calm and not do anything rash. marlow1962: |

Family / Re: Marriage Is Now Useless, No Discipline by wonder233: 12:35pm On Mar 15 |
Marriage is one of the biggest scams humans imposed on themselves. The simple reason is that humans, like other animals are wired to want sexual variety. But modern humans in a bid to organise society, came up with the notion of marriage. It takes a lot for people not to stray sexually, cos you're going against your base nature. What is within our powers to achieve as higher animals is responsibility in caring for offsprings... And for that, you don't need marriage. But everyone is a hypocrite, especially in this clime. 45 Likes 9 Shares |

Let me reply you just so others can benefit. Sanusi as CBN gov told the big banks he doesn't want another bank failure as that will shake investors and depositors confidence, that they must absorb the less healthy banks to save people's funds. All the top banks, nobody agreed to touch Intercontinental bank because their debt was so great. Sanusi told Wigwe he had to take the liability as a friend as non one else will help him avert that stain of being another CBN gov that had a collapsed bank under his watch. When access acquired Intercontinental, it almost sank even access cos the rot in the books of Intercontinental was so great. Oshokhai69: 1 Like |
