Wooooow OP you really nailed the time period. When I was a fresher in Uniben in 2003, Cyril came to our class and addressed us: he did a mental trick of guessing your name using some numerical calculations. He was also the life of every party on campus. Later got to know he was in Civil Engineering dept and had been in school for quite a long time that students have come in and graduated, but he was still there... (there were many people like that, some where not even students, just staying and enjoying school life). I too graduated and left. Years later, I came to process my transcripts, and still saw him doing his thing. People said he had a mental problem, that he was originally a brilliant student. I never knew what became of him... Some people said the school forcefully graduated stagnant students like him and ordered them out of the school premises, others said his mental condition got worse and he disappeared from the school vicinity... |
Civilians can be very funny... They wrote "high ranking officer". Dude she is an ASP (Assistant Superintendent of Police). This rank is equivalent to a Lieutenant in the army. And an army lieutenant is literally the 2nd most junior commissioned officer. I think OP was trying to refer to her seniority in contrast to NCOs (non-commissioned officers). |
Rubbish!! Its in Lagos they do these nonsense... A city majority of the inhabitants can't afford to live in, but persist...and to cope, devise all sorts of survival antics. |
Yeah,.. Kill the bttch! . She had wanted to spring a surprise on him, by cutting off his manhood, so that either he dies or is castrated for life, while she will be untouched? Kudos to the man, nobody has monopoly of violence. |
Nonagenerians... octagenarian is 80s kaludestiny10: |
At least the girls have been impressed. Nothing girls like more than guys driving power bikes. Guys know that, so, every year, they gladly sacrifice their precious lives for some useless admiration |
Humble because he is supposed to be God, but just decided to humble himself, right? iwaeda: |
He came as per he is God or Jesus Christ? Cos I can't understand why you sound so flattered that he came to your church. iwaeda: |
He fvvked around, so he found out. The woke Lgbtq agenda, trying their hardest to propagate their rubbish even to areas that don't agree with them. There is nothing like "gay imam", they tried to plant an imposter in SouthAfrica, being the most Lgbtq friendly country in africa, hoping it would take roots in the rest of africa. Make una rest, everyone must not be gay. |
what does the law, in this case, the CBN act and public sector regulations say about their appointment, tenure of stay and remuneration? If these do not conform with the extant laws, then, they are illegalities. Gender, academic qualifications and work experience cannot make them legal.. ogugwa1992: |
Paid article. They sponsored a hack writer to do image laundering for the illegal appointees. Bragging about them having PhDs and qualifications as if that automatically legitimizes the illegality. The question is: what does the law, in this case, the CBN act and public sector regulations say about their appointment, tenure of stay and remuneration? If these do not conform with the extant laws, then, they are illegalities. Gender, academic qualifications and work experience cannot make them legal. So Mr hack writer, take several seats. Your article is dust. |

Hahahahahahhaaa children full nairaland sha. The conventional commercial banks are the backbone of the economy. They are why your society hasn't collapsed. Do you think the financing of multi billion maritime, oil and gas, industrial and capital projects can be financed by your Opay and palmpay? Do you think we're talking akara money here? Will you carry opay to secure world bank or Afrexim financing for your national projects? This pikin, abeg go wash plate for your mum, lunch will soon be ready SatoshiX: |
She cheated with a colleague and I found out. So I ended the marriage. The person involved has been crying profusely that all I had been to her was good, kind, supportive and loving, so your insults mean nothing to me, this is an anonymous forum UyaiIncomparabl: |
Same here, mine also also lasted just 4 months. Choose your peace of mind guys. There is little for you to enjoy in marriage as a man. pimplucious: |
He will still win... So long tribes remain in Africa. |
Retard, you didn't see where I said "any sort of evidence"? You think the justice system works based on sentiments or one sided reporting? My friend, will you take yourself out of here! Zetty177x: |
Picture or video or any sort of evidence. I don't rush to conclusion based only on one side of a story. See the commenters above me jumping to conclusion, that is why it is so easy to control you guys in this country. They will kill person and quickly put out a narrative that the person committed suicide or died ontop woman, and y'all will lap it up and start commenting your stale jokes and motivational quotes. Never seen a more vacuous population. |

Did they ask you to swear that you're a Muslim before commenting on Burma Boy's post? Bahamas95: |
See the deaignation: "northern Christians/Muslims". North to represent tribe, Christian/Muslim to represent religion. Tribe and religion, the two things that have kept Nigeria underdeveloped. Nothing anybody can tell me, Nigeria is a shithole |

Fake news |
I thought selection of the VC is independently done by the governing council of the University and ratified by the president. Is it now a direct political appointment by the President? |
A distracted member of the public... torqque7: |
See how hard they are trying to distract the masses with staged political beef. So are we supposed to forget the hunger, insecurity and hardship in the land be excited with this watery quarrel they are trying so hard to sell? |
Unfortunately, most Nigerians think this way. When I became an adult, I was shocked to find out that money for sex is the norm. Growing up, I had thought that was the definition of prostitution, but the harsh truth is that our society endorses it. Even you criticising, you endorse it, you just don't know IT. You can't get married without "paying". You call it bride price and defend it as your culture, and look at anyone that speaks against it as mad. So, what are complaining for? Isn't it same payment for the woman? |
So, nothing really concerns me with farm tools losing their lives in the quest of looking for a man to pay their bills while still enjoying the maximum benefits of belonging to no one...nothing concerns me at all, it is a hazard of the profession. My real condolence goes to the people who unknowingly have eaten human flesh. I wonder how I would feel if I ever had to confront the fact that I ate human flesh. Yuck! |
Fvvk around, find out |
I don't care. It has nothing to do with me. My only grouse is why Nigerians are still hyping this stale awards that has outlived its usefulness. We are still feeling flattered that they considered us worthy enough to give their award. Not forgetting that they created an inferior category for just you subhumans and give you the award during the commercial break under the staircase. |
