omron: Hello fellow romancelanders My name is Kunle Ara i really needs your advise now as am really confused and having a feeling of guilt, i have been dating this lady called Funke for the past 2 years.. She is 27 years old a Virgin and a churchy girl,She has never known any man in her life and am her first boyfriend. During the 2 years of our courtship i have known all his family member and my family members too know her as well. Bottom line is that i have a lot of complain about her she is a good lady with good character but i see that we are not compactible in so many ways, What i like she hates and what i hate she like. She is an indoor type ,very shy ,secretive, doesn't talk ,a saddist, she might be going through pain she wont talk it out but one will just notice it in her face if you force her she wont say it,She is not also lively and social, she dresses like SU like a church girl like deeper life girl. i have told her about this for a long time but she does not heed to my advise. The most of it all is she only had a seconndary school certificate and no higher institute certificate, she did not learn any work and she is not exposed, even in my business which am doing she is not supportive at all.She has never allow a space for us to work together or assist me And looking at me am a very popular guy and hardworking but it seems she doesn't fit the kind of lady i need. And when she gets angry she might keep malice for days. I want to break up with her because i have seen a lady that has 95% of qualities am looking for in a woman. I complained this to her last time she came to my house and she told me may be i have someone with those qualities ,she caught me on a call with that lady and shee walk away ..she begged yesterday that she loves me that she can't afford to loose me and i dont wish to marry her out of pity because the new girl am so much happy with her and she has all the qualities i complained about the former one. And right now i dontt know how to break up with her because i dont want her to go through shock ..she doesn't have mind like that ..please how will i tell her without injuring her and her health so she could go on her own ...please i need a good advise.. Politics › Re: Buhari Cages Tinubu Over Plots To Stop Ambode’s Ministerial Appointment by WonderManly(m): 5:58am On Jul 05, 2019 |
minasota: President Muhammadu Buhari has adopted a nomination process that will make it difficult and impossible for anybody to obstruct the nomination of former Governor Akinwumi Ambode of Lagos State for ministerial appointment except the entire senators so decide, National Daily reports. This was done in the midst of the Cold War which has been lingering between the President and the All Progressives Congress (APC) national leader, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, who have maintained latent disharmony of interests in the ruling party over the years.
Sources from the Presidency revealed to National Daily that President Buhari having received reports on the nominees he is sending to the Senate for screening and confirmation, including reports on the environment of the nominees, made certain adjustments to forestall impediment or obstruction of the confirmation process by any political bloc or godfather.
Some APC stakeholders have expressed the view former Governor Ambode has become a critical factor in Buhari/Tinubu political relations since the 2019 general elections. In the buildup to the elections, the Lagos State APC was involved in mild crisis over the decision to stop Ambode from picking the party’s governorship ticket to seek re-election for a second tenure. The intervention and appeal of President Buhari, who held a personal meeting with Tinubu, could not save former Governor Ambode. That episode has gone into the annals of history of Lagos State politics, including the party politics of the ruling APC.
In the post-election period, the former Lagos State Governor is being widely conceived to be one of the ministerial nominees on the appointment list of the president yet to be submitted to the Senate for confirmation. There has also been the innuendo that the godfather of Lagos politics, Tinubu, is also allegedly out to lead the state APC to frustrate the political appointment of Ambode.
National Daily investigations revealed that a lot of calculations have been put on the chess board of the godfather and the Presidency. There have been arguments how Lagos will have two slots for ministerial appointments. However, there are indications that the President has the discretionary powers to make such decision. https://nationaldailyng.com/buhari-cages-tinubu-over-plots-to-stop-ambodes-ministerial-appointment

Ugobestikyblog: Elder statesman and ex-Ogun State Governor, Aremu Olusegun Osoba, has said that former President Olusegun Obasanjo betrayed the Alliance for Democracy, AD, Governors and Afenifere leaders, who supported him for a second term.
Osoba stated this on Thursday when he spoke with reporters Thursday on the political earthquake that swept through the five Southwest states in 2003,
The elder statesman pointed out that apart from the ‘D’Rovan Presidential Electoral College fiasco of AD in Ibadan, another factor that led to the implosion of Afenifere and the AD was the pact the party and pan-Yoruba organisation had with the former president.

Sports › Re: Breaking: Frank Lampard Has Been Confirmed As The New Chelsea Manager by WonderManly(m): 9:12am On Jul 04, 2019 |
actiondrilling: One of the greatest players in our history during his long and illustrious career, Lampard returns to Stamford Bridge having signed a three-year contract.
The 41-year-old said: ‘I am immensely proud to be returning to Chelsea as head coach. Everyone knows my love for this club and the history we have shared, however, my sole focus is on the job in hand and preparing for the season ahead. I am here to work hard, bring further success to the club and I cannot wait to get started.’
Chelsea director Marina Granovskaia (pictured above right) added: ‘It gives us great pleasure to welcome Frank back to Chelsea as head coach. Frank possesses fantastic knowledge and understanding of the club and last season, he demonstrated he is one of the most talented young coaches in the game.
‘After 13 years with us as a player, where he became a club legend and our record goalscorer, we believe this is the perfect time for him to return and are delighted he has done so. We will do everything we can to ensure he has all the support required to be a huge success.’
Lampard learned from some of the best managers in the history of the sport during his trophy-laden 13 years at Chelsea when he blazed a trail. Only Ron Harris, Peter Bonetti and John Terry played more than his 648 games and Lampard famously leads our all-time scoring chart with 211 goals. His goal touch allied with all-round quality and fantastic stamina helped change the way football views the modern central midfield player.
Lampard's dedication to improvement, versatility and reading of the game was exemplary, and those assets bode well as he begins life in charge of an elite Premier League club he knows inside out.
Not surprisingly Lampard has a fantastic relationship with the Chelsea supporters, who voted him their Player of the Year three times and who have sung his name regularly since he left in 2014. Everyone at the club is excited to see him patrolling the Stamford Bridge touchlines and leading the quest for more silverware.
As a player he was the man for the biggest occasions - not least when his goals fired the team to the league title at Bolton in 2005, when he provided the vital pass for Didier Drogba's winner in the first FA Cup final at the new Wembley, or when he led the team in John Terry's absence in the Champions League final in Munich.
Lampard's brilliance was not just limited to the deluge of goals he netted over the years, nor was it confined to the significance of so many of those strikes. What really stands him out as one of the all-time greats was his extraordinary consistency.
He netted 20 or more goals for five consecutive seasons and according to Premier League statistics, he supplied the fourth-highest assists figure in the competition's history. He also made a record-breaking 164 consecutive league appearances between 2001 and 2005, still the highest for an outfield player.
Through this unflinching commitment, he blossomed from the solid Premier League midfielder he was when he joined Chelsea in 2001 to become the runner-up in the FIFA World Player of the Year awards four years later. No such global recognition has been bestowed on any other Chelsea player, before or since.
Lampard left Stamford Bridge in 2014 having won three Premier League titles, four FA Cups, two League Cups, the Europa League and, of course, the Champions League. He is also the Blues player to have represented their country more than anyone else in our history. He retired from England duty with 106 caps and 29 goals to his name, hanging up his boots for good in February 2017 having left a remarkable legacy in the game as a player. We hope he will do likewise as a manager.

Fyzt: Abeokuta Ogun State : The governorship candidate of the Allied Peoples Movement in Ogun State, Adekunle Akinlade, has turned down the advice to withdraw his case against the Ogun State Governor, Dapo Abiodun.
Akinlade while turning down the advice by some political parties under the aegis of the League of Registered Political Parties in the state to jettison the petition at the Election Petitions Tribunal, described the call as a mere distraction.
Akinlade, who spoke through his media Aide, Azeez Adelani, described the group as fake, alleging that members of the group were paid to give Akinlade the advice.
Akinlade maintained that he would not be intimidated in the course of seeking redress to alleged anomalies in the March 9 governorship election in the state.
The statement partly read, “As a responsible political party with people-oriented manifestos, the Allied Peoples Movement governorship candidate will not be intimidated by any irrelevant group to abandon the mandate freely given to him by the good people of Ogun State at the just- concluded general elections. As we are soaring to victory with a belief that good will always triumph over evil, no matter the cost
“We wish to educate the mischief makers that our resolve to approach the election tribunal is to seek redress to the injustice meted out to us at the March 9 governorship election in Ogun State, as allowed by the constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria
“We understand that the conference was that of inconsequential money-seeking politicians, billed to create fear, apathy, discouragement; and to intimidate the reasoning of our teeming loyalists and people of Ogun State to believe the odds are against the APM at the tribunal. Whereas, in reality, they are afraid as regards revelations so far at the tribunal
Besides, the intrigues and the fraud that surrounded the declaration of the election results by the electoral body, despite our calls for its abortion, due to the abnormalities observed.”

ackim: Cameroon Coach Seedorf Reveals His Major Worry Ahead Of Blockbuster Game Vs Nigeria Cameroon coach Clarence Seedorf is worried about his team's blunt strike force ahead of their blockbuster Africa Cup of Nations round of 16 clash against Nigeria in Alexandria on Saturday.
Like the Super Eagles, the Indomitable Lions netted only two goals in the group stages but they have a better defensive record than the West Africans, with the highly-rated Ajax Amsterdam goalkeeper André Onana yet to concede in the tournament.
Clinton N'Jie (Marseille), Stéphane Bahoken (Angers), Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting (PSG), Karl Toko Ekambi (Villarreal), Joel Tagueu (Portugal Marítimo) and Jacques Zoua (Astra Giurgiu) are the players classed as strikers in the Cameroon squad.
''I do not think of Nigeria (opponent in the round of 16), we just finished the match, I'm very happy because we qualified, but we were disappointed because we wanted to win the match, we completely controlled this match,'' Seedorf was quoted as saying by France Football.
''We have to improve in several details, especially in attack, we have to be smarter to create more opportunities, we have not conceded a goal yet, there are positive things for the future. ''
The Super Eagles have not lost to Cameroon since they were beaten 1-0 in a World Cup qualifier in August 1989.
