how did he know is my question....atleast if it was a bbc report, the source should be quoted

My brother
BBC report or song of the year or century whatever, people should just research who the Beatles are.
I do envisage that it might be difficult especially by people made up of those who are not sure whether the song was by a man or woman and some getting to hear about the song for the first time

Yea, the guy's song was a hit, but there is no proof that he sold 13 milliom copies.

Good thinking.

You can see the writer of the story saying he sold more than the Beatles. What a fallacious fallacy. It only people can do little research before going to the print.

Sometimes i wonder how mega profit making companies run into such financial mess

It could be due to:
government policy
change in taste and fashion
management ineptitude
board room crisis
failure to keep up with trend, technology

amongst other factors.

This is the beginning of the end of Wale. He tried messing around with the wrong guys, Atiku, Mangal and Volpi.

This shouldn't have been on front page, because 98% of nairalanders don't have the background information and knowledge about Oando, board politics in corporate Nigeria and stock market investment.

I am surprised that even Reno Omokri could not offer an informed comment on happenings in Oando.

Very Good comment.
You should know that the 98% you talked about are kids.
On the comment by Reno, it goes to show that some we think are intelligent are actually not as intelligent as we portray them or perhaps they could be irrationally sentimental and biased even when the issue calls for clinical, critical analysis.

It was that company shares that he sold to those guys and not the real Oando in Nigeria

The man is croook

Your comment is the only knowledgeable one I can react to.

Two days ago, I informed my stockbroker of my intention to buy oando shares. He advise against it based on international oil issues. Yesterday, I bought something else only to receive the oando news. The point is, some of those companies on the exchange are run by cow-boys.
However, I am dissapointed at the pathetic comments of youths who remain totally uninformed about vital issues but are already pointing to 2019, tinubu ambition and atiku on a matter like this.
Nigerian youths indeed have a long way to go.

Ask yourself whether a federal agency having the mandate to operate on any road in Nigeria considering the establishment acts that brought it to fore be banned by some statement allegedly made by the governor of a state. More so, what I heard he said was that he only advised the Corps knowing the limits of his power vis-à-vis federal agencies.

Oga FRSC officer, the FRSC does not have the " mandate to operate on ANY and EVERY road" in Nigeria.

People are not against the officers and men but against their excesses.

Change and tell your colleagues to do same.

100 billion has been divided into 6 places meaning 16.6 billion for each region. Lag-Ibd road is not amongst the project from SW to benefit from the money. The most prominent road is the Oyo- ogbomoso exp. road.

When Fashola was shouting that the Senate reduced the budget for the finance of the road despite huge debt owed the contractors by the past administration which his ministry has to pay, the same anti progress Nigerians were happy because it's against this administration, but they never knew that is coming back to hunt the masses.
Monies owed the contractors by GEJ government was the first thing they were settling before the Senathieves reduced the budget for nonsense constituency allowance.

Good comment.
As a people, we are used to dealing with our eczema rather than tackling our leprosy. On line analysts and bedroom activists couldn't say much when Fasola was shouting. In actual fact, some were hoping that he failed.

are u will to bet ur moniker that in the Beni culture a man cannot will out his last house to any body except d first son ?

No need to bet. All I want from you is to emphasize that in benin it is like that and not the whole of Yoruba race.
The argument about which of the tribes is a sub-sect of the other will not only derail this topic but will not end today.

In the first part of your argument you said Yoruba and now you say in benin. Are you related to confuscus? Always learn to articulate your points and get your facts before coming on line. Fyi, Yoruba tradition does not discriminate between children when it comes to assets sharing.
