Okonandmary:Name the markets that Tinubu modernized 2. Millennium schools, lagos state schools were so bad, Tinubu came and created lot of milliieum schoolsname 10 schools started and finished by Tinubu 3. Making lagos clean, he employed lot of sweepers and cĺeaners to make lagos clean. The evidence before us shows rant when Tinubu was governor, Lagos was ranked the dirtiest city in the world. 4. I remember that lagos igr was 600M before tinubu, he made it 5.6 billion naira monthlyTinubu took over from military government, military government never give accurate IGR figures so we don’t y know the IGR I’d Lagos before Tinubu 5. Free waec exam and also free education for all government students.I agree with this one 6. I remember lagos was very insecured, Tinubu brought RRS ( Rapid response squad)theres no basis to accurately indicate that RRS effectively curbed insecurity in lagos vis-à-vis operation sweep by marwa. It’s reallt vague to measure the impact of RRS and to know how significant it is. 7. He reduced unemployment to single digit, from 40% to 7.6%, i remembered lot of people getting employed in construction, in cleaning, in schools etc.this is a lie. There is never a time in history that Lagos recorded 7% unemployment rate. Show me evidence. Not even 15% ever been recorded To be sincere, Tinubu did lot of positive improvements in lagos statenope he didn’t. He was busy creating a dynasty for himself and never using the IGR he got for infrastructure and development |
HarunaWest:how? Can you provide me with what I requested for and stop the distractions? |
GoodLife4live:ok, I am in |
HarunaWest:just provide me what I requested for and stop the long story |
If you mention any 1. 10km road started and finished by Tinubu that Fashola didn’t rehabilitate 2. A school that Tinubu started and finished 3. Any flyover that Tinubu started and completed 4. Any landmark project that Tinubu started and completed I will vote for Tinubu |
AbaganaMiracle:Aba is larger by size and more populated than Onitsha. It’s fact |
They have educated OP already, there’s nothing to add to this thread |
Newsline09:maybe he got a job in the bank/financial institution and rose to high ranking positions like many other CEOs because of competence. Have you thought of that or there is never going to be any answer we give that will satisfy you? |
AbaganaMiracle:you are the person who doesn’t understand that google figures only shows for Aba north and south excluding osisioma, obi Ngwa, ukwa and ugwunagbo exist of Aba. You are the person failing to grasp basic geography of Abia and Anambra state. Onitsha is just Onitsha north and south and som part of Idemili (obosi, nkpor and Ogidi) Onitsha no pass this places. |
Yamiriflathead:lol, Obi supporters will teach him lessons in Lagos. I am included in that number and Obi has my vote |
AbaganaMiracle:so my brother, Onitsha is densely populated, it doesn’t have landmass. Orlu, Okigwe and Nsukka are all larger than Nnewi by landmass. This is fact that I will show you. The largest city in the east is Enugu, then Aba then Owerri based on extrapolation from maps. |
AbaganaMiracle:the other axis of Onitsha. From Trans Nkisi to obosi (obosi is not Even Onitsha Perse but let’s add it) 13km . That’s about the length and width of Onitsha there
|
AbaganaMiracle:umuobo to Asa umunka in osisioma is larger than the whole of head bridge to Ogidi along Aba/ph express and these are well developed areas.
|
AbaganaMiracle:see dude, I don’t like so much Arguments. Onitsha is about from head bridge to nkpor ) nkpor is not even Onitsha peruse). Now let’s add nkpor and Ogidi as greater Onitsha. From head bridge to Ogidi junction (which is a surburb if Onitsha) is about 18km. Don’t even mention Nnewi here. Nnewi is a very small town
|
AbaganaMiracle:you cannot work with google figures. Google figures is just for Aba north and south, it won’t include osisioma and some part of obi mega which are part of Aba metropolis. Osisioma itself is larger than Nnewi l. Based on google map, measuring landmass on the map. Aba urban area is bigger than Owerri, Onitsha and Nnewi. Enugu is the largest by landmass. |
EmekaA125:lol. How is Aba smaller than Onitsha and Nnewi? What are you saying? |
mumumugu:yeah, which is a very good thing for science. Creates room for improvement. Immutability means that you cannot improve or advance beyond where you are, which is the reason for the obvious dying state of religion in the west and it is slowly creeping into Africa.. People leave religion when they can’t question them. Religion wants to solve new problems with old technics and answers that never work |
obonujoker:lol ![]() |
God1000:i guess I posted this in the wrong section. The mods can do the needful. However, you care very correct |
Religion is all about uncertainty. Religion exists to fill in those parts of your life that are beyond your control and understanding. It's been doing so for a long time. They do start with a special revelation, which arguably ARE "Q&A sessions with God", at least from their own point of view. The revelations aren't complete, though. Since the beginning, they've had to interpret and interpolate. Honest people will say when they're unable to find a concrete answer, and it's not valid even within religious confines to simply assert that an interpolation is absolutely true. Now, in the last few centuries those areas beyond control and understanding, that used to be the province of religion, have instead been given more concrete answers by science and education. That has pushed that ability to interpret and interpolate to the test. Many previously accepted ones have been demonstrated to be false. The revelation is no longer accepted as a valid argument in civil society. But there a remain areas beyond our control and understanding, some scientific, some moral. Those who wish to accept what the revelation (suitably interpreted) says is "true" FOR THEMSELVES may do so; the burden of proof is on others to disprove it (religion always don’t want to carry any burden of proof for their claims). As long as there is some consistent interpretation, no matter how twisted and unlikely, you haven't disproven it. Note the giant caveat in there. They can accept it for themselves. But if they wish to compel you to accept it, the burden of proof reverts back to them. Those interpretations don't count as proof. An interpretation under which the revelation is not wrong is not the same as proof that it is right. Offline, I really avoid religious discussions because I know how sensitive that it is in less-advanced societies like Nigeria where logic, science and reason is abysmal. I studied in Poland and Poland is ranked one of the most religious countries in Europe, however you could still sense the overall irreligious nature compared to Nigeria. I have had opportunities to travel to the Netherlands, U.K and Germany, its clear that societal advancement especially the liberal kind of western civilization kills religion, you could see it in the fabrics of their societies that religion is dying and being relegated to second fiddle. I have this Jehovah witness member that I have always engaged here in Nigeria, I stopped engaging him when I realized it’s all a waste of time: he makes many things up and whenever I ask for evidence, it’s seems like he has problems understanding what qualifies as evidence or proof. I had to make him know that Belief is a wonderful thing, you can waste your entire life following whatever suits your brain to have faith in! Or live in the real world without the mystical influence of imaginary deities. I don’t need to believe in superstition, I believe in myself and what I can achieve in my life. I had to settle for the fact that, this society is backward, people are less educated and even the educated are poorly educated. The educated are ill-equipped with ability to reason logically, observe the world and make sane and rational deductions without filling the gaps with spirits. This lacuna in our educational system also marks the obvious setbacks we have had in developing science and technological innovations and economy. In advanced societies, As people become better educated they realise that the gaps for Gods to fit in are getting smaller and smaller. One of the reasons that the concept of deities arose is to give an answer to questions that ancient man hadn't the knowledge, yet, to explain. Things like “Why does the sun rise?” and “What is thunder?”. As our understanding of the universe expands the need for propitiating an angry god with flattery and ritual in case he makes the rivers flood or to curry his/her favour with praise and sacrifices has gone. Western countries are just a little further down that road than other nations. In the end humanity will grow up and no longer need its security blanket. |
Yes, you see spirits in everything because you can’t think and you lack the ability to decisively look at scenarios and make logical and rational deductions form them rather than unverifiable spiritual claims. It’s why you think you have a god anyways. You don’t have a mental capacity to look at natural phenomena and not insert a spirit into it. |
I really do not see how Tinubu can win if this election is free and fair. In a free and fair election, Tinubu cannot even win Lagos state and I am damn sure about this after the Muslim-Muslim ticket. Tinubu cannot win southwest flawlessly, he doesn’t have the charisma to do that. He’s irritating southwest Christians and because of his antecedents of godfatherism and fraud. Tinubu’s hope is in the north and I doubt if he can win Atiku in the core northern states. He will not win any local government in south south and southeast. Tinubu will no win abuja, Taraba, Plateau and Benue and Saraki is ready to give him a run for PDP in kwara state. So tell me how he wants to win this election? |
