Forget about these because nothing will come out of these because it is very insignificant in respect to the volu of control of flow from the big wig. You can see the volume of money been reportedly caught by EFCC here: thousand of dollars not up to $10k. The real people are the government both state and banking system that engages to 99% volume of illegal exchange transaction. Nothing will come out of this shixxt. Until you tell your self the truth, you may not have a head way.

I understand your point about the govt corruptions but as regards $/# saga, naira falling recently is based on speculation by majorly BDCs using binance to set price benchmarks.

How will it solve Nigeria's situation?

#spits

Yes it would, the BDCs re the one using binance usdt price to set their own price while they buy their $ from banks at little above CBN rate, moreover binance p2p where anybody can decided to sell/buy usdt at any price he feels like, and usdt is not dollar after all)

Are these people really serious at all?

They re the problem...

They buy dollars from banks at CBN rate or little higher, then pick up a phone to check the usdt price on binance, ( an auction p2p market where any can decide to sell his coin at any price) and set their price to that range .

Nothing supposed concern naira/dollar with usdt, we don't trade with usdt in Nigeria or even use it for importation etc...

Business / Re: How Binance P2P Contributes To Plummeting Naira Value by worldclass68(m): 8:34pm On Feb 22
Am I a Binance user, and I must agree with you on this, the merchants do manipulate USDT prices on P2P.

But USDT is a coin (a stablecoin to trade crypto) that can't be used to pay for importation, school fees, or flight tickets. It's not even a dollar; it's only pegged to a dollar rate in trading crypto.

So why should the BDCs use USDT to set their own benchmark price when they're not buying or selling USDT? That's totally fraud from them.

USDT is an open market, doesn't have a price benchmark; you can post ads and sell/buy at whatever price you want (auction).

The BDCs are the major culprits here, i.e., buying dollars from the banks at CBN rates (maybe a bit higher thanks to corruption in the banking sector, just like in the cashless policy era where POS merchants buy cash from banks while denying citizens their hard-earned money) and using crypto stablecoin to set prices

Law enforcement should:
Tackle the banks and the BDCs.
Nigerians don't spend USDT or use it to trade; we use naira and then dollars for overseas business.

Though I'm a strong supporter of Obi, I'll never wish a country I'm living in to fail, cause when I do, it inadvertently affects me too.

I don't enjoy how every trader is taking advantage of this current situation to make life unbearable for the masses.

I was expecting something very serious to be the reason why Cement Price was tripled in the space of 2 months only to be disappointed by the explanation given by the manufacturers.

I understand that those at the helm of affairs are the main culprits and benefactors of this corrupt system. (this will be a talk for another day)

Today I see lots of people not being happy the FG clamped down on Binance, some BDC and it's like. I seriously don't understand why they are not happy the naira is gaining.
Whatever profit you make from the rise of dollars will be used to buy ordinary commodities at an exorbitant price.

You think you win, but you ultimately lose.

If you save N2000 in dollars at the rate of N1500/$1, by the time the dollar increases to N2000/$1 in a few weeks, you might think your money has added value and gains. But when you rush down to buy soap which used to be 150h when the dollar was N1500/$1, you are told is now 300h, this gulps up the profit you've made from your dollar hoarding!

We need to hold those at the helm of affairs accountable for the policies they are making, we do this by protest and CRITICISM etc, NOT BY CONTRIBUTING TO IT!!

Now imagine u didn't save up ur money in $ and u will still meet that soap at 300h...

This govt crush my savings like.... my savings since early last yr hoping to raise to certain capital...

Anything you do for a woman just don't expect her to reciprocate or be always there for you.
As a boyfriend I bought a car for my then girlfriend who later became my wife with all my savings just for her to be happy and fulfilled, I made sure I filled her tank always without bordering where she drove to.

Years later after getting married to her my economy suffered a downturn while she got promotion in her work place and a big salary package.
She bought a new big car while I am still managing my old car.
Anytime I ask her for keys to her car to go out or go see a potential client whom I needed to display a little affluent packaging because of my line of work, she will remind me how I am a car spoiler, how I plan to use it to go pick up a girlfriend, how her car will be in danger of being snatched, how my eyes is always on her car, how I don't buy fuel for her, how I overspeed, how the last time I drove her car she spent N1m at the autoshop to fix things even though its a lie, how she dreamt where the devil was following me when I was driving her car, hian!🤧🤧
This was someone I spent my last money to buy her first car as a bachelor even when I tried to force her to do my bidding she reported me to relatives.

When I met our relatives virtually every one of them will tell me "abeg leave am na woman, in marriage you have to tolerate, since she doesn't want you to use her car just let her be, na so God take woman"
I realised that as a man you are alone in marriage.

Joking ke?
If many married men tell you what they are silently passing through and the betrayals they have had to endure from their wives at various times you go fear to get married, but in order not to discourage younger people from the marriage institution we just endure and move on which is actually not easy as it takes emotional toll on many men.

Ain't backing down for no stupid wife....dont care whatever...
