Valerieee: My dearest Nairalanders I need your help and advice.
A little background about myself. I am a young girl of 21. Studying at one of the prestigious universities in Nigeria and currently in 300L. Is it weird that I have zero to no social media presence like people of my age. People look at me like I'm crazy when I tell them Its been years I visited my Facebook and Instagram accounts, I find it boring and not interesting atall. I don't even have the apps on my phone anymore though I still have the passwords but zero urge to visit those sites. I still take pictures, infact I love taking pictures but I just store them in my google photos, no urge to share on social media at all. Sometimes I share on my Whatsapp status which has my family (Mom, Dad and siblings) alone as contacts. My roommate thinks am making a big mistake and may not get a good guy as a partner since I also rarely go out. I really wish I can change and post more or even become more active on social media but I just love my privacy and being anonymous.
Please those who are more experienced on these things should advice me, am I losing so much by being invisible Online? Offline I am very outgoing and have no problems communicating with people and friends but Online is something else.
If you do not need to be seen and heard, you do not need social media.
Adaisback: Anumanu! I am ashamed of your mother , she failed in her duty to raise you well. For those whose parents did not know Igbo tradition very well, let me tell you this today.
It is a taboo to insult your father or use derogatory words on him no matter the provocation.

Jcoleworld911: Save a life hospital in portharcourt is owned by an Anambra man
It's not an issue of who owns the hospital, is the hospital in Anambra the best in Nigeria? That's the question. Cos a hospital opened in May and using medical personnel who come occasionally for outreach cannot be compared to the teaching hospitals littered across the nation.
I'm only concerned about the false narrative and nothing else.
My ex called me yesterday, out of the blue, after 14 years of radio silence. He was my first love and I thought we were in a relationship for 3 years only to find out I was just his side piece to the side piece. He broke up with me by blocking me on his phone and social media and that was it.
A mutual friend reached out to me about 2 weeks ago. We had also lost contact for years. We talked about everything but him. So I was very surprised to get a call from him. He said the mutual friend told him about our reconnection so he also wanted to get in touch. We chatted for 10-15 mn, he asked me about my life and told me to save his contact.
Now, I'm wondering, why would a man call an ex girl friend he didn't really care about, after more than 10 years ? We were never close friends and don't have any common interests, personal or professional circle anymore, so what's the point
You should have made these point to him. Sometimes we need to let go of the past forever. He will only bring unnecessary distractions.
Please stop this chest beating and unnecessary attention

P.S For the fools that are wailing
Make sure you go to Kaduna, Borno, Adamawa and arrest all the men there. After you arrest them, then come let's talk
Since you are not in Borno, Kaduna or Adamawa, why behave like them?
Cypress042: You're right, but remember that both drunk drivers and those who don't drink do have accidents... Just pray that stuffs like this don't remember you.
Anytime calamity happens, people who took steps to prevent it from happening will usually console themselves that they took steps to prevent it, though it still happened. Its alot better than the self torment one passes through when one didn't make an effort and just left it to chance.
