There’s a very clear difference between Cee Cee and Tacha. Whilst Cee Cee is a Lawyer with pedigree from a comfortable background whose education and training will be good for brands, Tacha on the other hand has no basic education and has exhibited behaviors that aren’t civil to say the least. I think it was wrong for Tacha to think she would act like Cee Cee and get away with it.

As a man never move into your wife's house because when things go sour between you and your wife the humiliation and insults you would receive would be able to give you a cardiac arrest, men be wise!!! Don't do it especially if she is a Nigerian woman, they naturally have entitlement spirit.

Same way you Men boot us out of your houses if things go sour.

The fact still remains that only a few people are genuinely happy for your success. If it were to be an unfortunate and unpleasant situation, people would be there for you and comfort you but when it’s good news then envy and jealousy will show up.

BSC Accounting

Accounting has many career prospects so you’re good.
Leaving in the suburbs is quiet challenging but I’ve got no other option for now.

I don't know much about the economy and service sector in Illinois/Chicago..but where i live CA....there is great opportunities in different field. Most Nigerians here work in Medical field as Doctors, Nurses RN or LVN or CNA, Pharmacist, Nurse practitioner, Dental Hygienist, Psychiatric Technician, Medical laboratory technologist etc. You also have School district teachers, social workers, security officers, transit bus operators, food service technicians, police officers, city ticket officers, engineers working for govt firm like caltrans, realtors

etc. What you do is you choice....but my 50 cent advice

is if you typically want A job thats not so challenging to get, steady reliable income with flexible work hours and ample opportunity to make money via overtime or other jobs, you're likely to work as an RN, LVN, CNA OR PSYCHIATRIC TECHNICIAN...ITS YOUR CHOICE ...

Thanks for this invaluable advice. I think a career in healthcare offers job security and a whole more benefits just as you listed.

Its a document that gives details on the time you entered the States. Just google it and locate their website and click on it, type in your passport number and date of birth on the relevant section within the website, it will bring out your entry records. You can then print it out.

Note that this only done after you've entered the States.

Very helpful tip. thank you!

I'm yet to get my drivers license but I can tell you what I think are required. I'm not 100% sure though.

The documents required are your social security number, your passport photo, your international passport, your drivers license and evidence of place of residence (this I will use the mail I got from the bank, my marriage license and mail from SSN as they all have my residential address written on them) and i94 printout.

Note however that you must have resided in the State for 30 days before applying for Drivers license.

Thanks a lot but please what's i94 printout?
Travel / Re: USA Fiancee (K1) Visa Thread by Worriedgurl: 3:04pm On Apr 09, 2019
LegitBachelor:
For those who have entered the States with their K1 Visa, I advice you go get your Social Security Number (SSN) asap. I got mine without stress. All they need is for you to fill out the form (you can get the forms online or get it in their office), present your international passport, your birth certificate and your i94 printout. Once you do that, your number will be out within 2 weeks. No single dollar charged!

I've gotten mine and intend using it to get my drivers license.

Note that you can still go ahead and get married to your fiancee without the SSN. You can even open a joint account with your fiancee without the SSN. It's only a few Courts and a few Banks that insists on SSN before you can get married or open a joint account. I did mine without getting the SSN.

However I couldn't get my drivers license without the SSN and that's why I had to wait for my SSN before applying for drivers license.

Regards

Please what documents are required to obtain the Driver's License?

Thanks everyone for your wishes... It's is being God that made it possible... It was tough.... The interview was not awesome, I failed it because I was not feeling fine at a that particular time, my brain was not sharp....

The question goes thus:

Where did you meet your fiance? I told her we met when he came to Nigeria 2015

She asked again where exactly? I told her

She said so after meeting you, you people go on your way..
And I told her we exchanged contact we started talking..

She asked what did we do together? I told her I dnt understand, she said did we go out on date, I said YES..

She said what kind of date? I told her cinema

What kind of movies did we watch? I said I can't remember

She asked again when he came on October 2017, what did we do together? I mistakenly told her we did introduction in which introduction took place in December.. She looked at me with doubtful mind...
Immediately I realized she was asking me if we go out on date? I quickly change my answer and I told her we didn't go on date, he came to my house to visit my parents.

I showed her the picture of my parents and I with my fiancee....

She asked why my fiancee is not around for the introduction I told her he was bidding for contract from United Nation at that time.. I wanted to show her the pictures of the introduction, she said she don't care about the picture since he is not around.. Though my fiancee has already submitted the introduction pictures to USCIS, so I believe she has already seen it as well..

She asked how old are mine and my fiancee? I told her... She said why large age difference? What makes me to go for him? I told her I love him, she asked why did I love him? I told her he is trustworthy...
She said how can I say he is trustworthy, the person I rarely see... I said again we have things in common? She asked like what? I told her singing, dancing, cooking.. She asked what kind of dance, I said hip-hop... She said how can someone of that age be dancing hip- hop.. I told her he can shake his body with joke..

She asked in what ways do we communicate? I didn't hear her very well, I mistakenly said Twitter in which we never communicate on Twitter.

She said I dnt want Twitter because it is not confidential... What other areas do you communicate? That's when I now realized what she was saying?

I told her on phone and email...

I showed her the phone records from Airtel from the past 3 months Oct 2018 -Jan 2019 which is the maximum month you can get from telecommunications company.. My fiance already helped me to print out from his side from July 2018-oct2018. I showed her both, she just collected it and only looked at the front page and returned it to me. Still she was not satisfy.
She said I want to see your email communication, she asked if I have it here and I said I dnt have it here with me.

She said she want to see it, gave me 221g Form indicate email From oct2017-till date.. She returned my passport and told me to submit it to DHL...

She was not happy with my response all through.. I could see it in her face...

It took me a week to print all the emails and also include the same phone records which I have already showed her during the interview to the email and I submitted it at dhl Isolo..

Have already lost hope reading about the experience of people put on AP on Visajourney and all that that's it takes longer time...

But Lo and behold, after 3days of submitting my email, I was contacted to submit my international passport for Visa issuance...
That's how I got my joy...

I thank God I was not automatically denied because some people may be denied instantly...

Secondly, I thank God she didn't ask me to provide Twitter as more evidence of communication which I dnt have because it's a mistake that's made me to say Twitter.

I GIVE GLORY TO GOD

How many days did it take for your visa to be issued after you returned your passport to the Embassy.

Hello guys,

I have a little challenge.
I noticed that my appointment confirmation page doesn’t have the DS-160 barcode, of which I already sent a mail to Support@ustraveldocs.com & gotten correspondence and have supplied the extra information they required to update it.

It’s been 5 hours since I replied the mail and I’m worried because my interview is in 2days

Should I send another mail to “Support-Nigeria@ustraveldocs.com” instead ?

I will appreciate any response

Your appointment confirmation letter doesn't need to have DS160 confirmation barcode on it. You're good to go!! Just ensure that your DS160 confirmation page print out has the barcode on it.
