We’ve been saying this forever that trucks should be made to stay off the roads between the hours of 6AM - 9PM to save lives.

The shed called Nigeria is already gone, and the best thing is for the nations to find their ways. It’s the only way, trust yourself, you can handle it.

I’m fine!
Oh ok!
I saw a flash of Trump signing the big beautiful bill though I’ve not had time to follow the story. I heard there are good things in it like no interest on car loans among other things, if you want to do cartoons on the contents. I should get back on track by Tuesday.
OLAADEGBU:
Hi Katty. I’m well and you? I sometimes come here for the state of the nation as inspired by the union state of the nation. Tell me what cartoon you find interesting. smiley

There are more ibos than this in Lagos, so I wonder why just these of them came out.
One thing for sure is, you will never see a real Yoruba among them.

Nigeria needs to be changed too to the names we were known before the British just like Scotland, Wales, Ireland and England. Our identity is important.
Politics › Re: APC And ADC Acronyms May Confuse Voters by wowcatty: 9:07am On Jul 04, 2025
Did I stutter?

What has your personal relationship got to do with a nation’s independence? Are there no international relationships? Indians, Bangladeshi and Pakistanis were once a country and are now separate and still intermarry.

Division is the only thing that can help the nations in Nigeria.

Politics › Re: APC And ADC Acronyms May Confuse Voters by wowcatty: 8:59am On Jul 04, 2025
Don’t you want a division? I thought everyone wants to go their separate ways?
All we need to do is undo the 1914&1906. I hope president Tinubu can just do it with an executive order if nobody wants to sit down and renegotiate our union. All Nigeria has brought to some of us is misery and we can’t continue like this. LET FREEDOM RINGS!
RealityKings1:
Oh you want a division? How do you intend to divide it?

Their criminal image has been crushed. They’re the same people who looted Nigeria dry and your attempt to recycle and make them saints is laughable.
OboOlora:
APC online miscreants working day and night to dent the image of the new coalition party. Tinubu wants to work all angles; use the online ones to poison the minds of people and then use Oluomo, Samlarry and co to hijack ballot boxes during election. The way he is desperate for re-election, he can even allow Adebole to move Redeemed Camp to Aso rock road just to get the votes of gullible christians.

And which law says one party must be first?

Republican was first on the ballots in the last elections cos the incumbent governor is republican, I don’t know if that has to do with states being in charge of elections. What Nigeria needs is not another election but a division and that what y’all should be preparing for.

Politics › Re: Tinubu: 'How can a man born in 1966 be your classmate at CSU in 1979' - Paul Ibe by wowcatty: 1:55am On Jun 25, 2025
I trust my president to ignore this nonsense and a new distraction cos it never matters, it’s all a package madness.
What matters is, the school he went said he attended. We saw him in the school’s yearbook. His classmates he mentioned previously(and y’all said why is his classmate a Yoruba) is also in the yearbook. So y’all will have to on your own and independently go and prove this beyond a reasonable doubt and then give us the truth you have established. Everything else is just a diversion from how we need to peacefully break up this country.

Epe is not a settlement, it’s a native land and has been in existence before all other areas you mentioned, and which are rather settlements.

Btw, Oro still goes out occasionally in Oniru, just that some of the British created Obas are “born again & again” and find the practice too archaic.

Foreign Affairs › Re: Israeli Government Says 'eliminating’ Iran’s Supreme Leader Is Now Official Goal by wowcatty: 2:30am On Jun 20, 2025
They’ve been there before and we know how it turned out.

War is never a good thing and should be avoided at all cost, but when you’re building a bomb with a name of your neighbor on it, your neighbor has the right to not only take it out in self defense, but to take as many people as possible working on their destruction down with it, it’s just logical.

The truth is, Israel is going nowhere, they will have to learn to live side by side. Palestine was created in 1920 and Israel in 1948. They both are not original to the land, Iranians are Mongols, the Jewish are Askenazi from Ukraine region and Palestinians are Tunisians. The very dark skinned Palestinians are still treated like shitt today by the Tunisian immigrants. This is why they need to accept each other living in peace in the region.

Nigeria should go back to the way we were before and after independence, with our God-given name before the British given ones. I know some fear their tribe names for some reasons, but we Yoruba love and are proud of our identity even with the bad side. What not to love about ‘Yoruba Nigerian” even in the case of Hushpuppy, after checking his mom’s identity of course. What we will not accept is non OJULOWO to claim to be Yoruba. They have to introduce themselves as “My father is half Yoruba” as honest people around the world would say.

Nigeria overall is still 10 times more dangerous than the US, and the fact that it should be home makes it worse.
Most of you are already used to jungle way of life and will settle for anything. In Nigeria, with a little change in your pocket, you need to have police guards. The only solution is to split the country.

Christianity Etc › Re: Should A Woman Pastor A Church? by wowcatty: 10:28am On Jun 15, 2025
I believe it’s the spirit of God, maybe I didn’t put it well. What I meant by a fellowship hall is small room for about 20 people. And not leading a prayer in church like a pastor after preaching. See ehn, we all see true worship differently. I don’t believe you can really worship God in spirit and in truth if you wear shoes during prayer, with women hair uncovered and so many other things.
gohf:
tell that Spirit speaking to you that I said it is a lying Spirit, what is the difference between a fellowship hall and a church. the devil is an author of confusion o. Imagine deceiving you that you cannot lead prayers nor preach and you believed
Christianity Etc › Re: Should A Woman Pastor A Church? by wowcatty: 10:10am On Jun 15, 2025
NO!!!!
Each time I’m feeling overwhelmed with his grace and asked God if I should open a church to show gratitude, cos I don’t want to go and join a church where the pastor sees himself like a god and be in my business, the answer I got in the past was, “if you’ve had an abortion, you have blood in your hands and can’t build me a house” but now I’m getting “you can have a fellowship hall where you can meet for Bible studies, share testimonies and reach out to the needy in your community, but you must never lead a prayer or preach, a man must always lead in prayer”
Politics › Re: Gari Is Solely Yoruba, Ijebu To Be Precise, Portuguese Got It From Us by wowcatty(op): 9:51am On Jun 15, 2025
We Yoruba have it all, it’s you culture vultures that steal from us. How is that fair to you that your ancestors had nothing to pass down to you but you want to take mine?
I don’t know where Tuo is from, so maybe you should ask the people who own that.
vanbonattel:
There is no food in Nigeria that didn't start from Yorubaland. I remember when the northerners were coming to learn how to cook tuwo shinkafa from ile Ife.
Politics › Gari Is Solely Yoruba, Ijebu To Be Precise, Portuguese Got It From Us by wowcatty(op):
Gari is a Yoruba word from two words, ‘Iga’ which is the cassava paste presser and ‘Ori’ which is the process of woven bamboo strainer used in separating koko from the cassava meal just before roasting. The Portuguese got it from Yoruba, introduced it to other Africans and took it with them to feed some of their slaves in the new world. Gari is solely Yoruba and we’ve been eating it for thousands of years. We are the only people who have different names for every stage of the preparation while it’s just Gari in every form to all others. And yes it’s just a single ‘r’ in Gari. We need to start shaming people who appropriate new things from us, they’re not using Yoruba words out of love, they want to own it. We should start defending things they haven’t appropriated before it’s too late. I saw where people whose fathers and grandfathers never wore Agbada and probably couldn’t pronounce it, saying they co-own Agbada with Yoruba, these people in another 5 years will be back here asking where Agbada originates and how they own it. Akara is an example of that, the people claiming to own Akara today know that their own grandfathers didn’t know what Akara is and they didn’t taste it until they stepped in Yorubaland but because they’re hardwired to steal cultures and identities, it does not matter to them. These people are not Africans and that’s why they have no names for all the food they like to eat while Yoruba have 2-3 different words for a single thing. These people appropriate Yoruba’s own and claim to own it few years down the road. Take ‘Ponmo’ for an example is a Yoruba food that they will come for as soon as coast is clear and claim to own in no distant future because it’s now a household name like Akara. Tatase, Sonbo and Japa/Japada are others that they are warming up to claim. These people are not whole tribal nations, they’re British transplants, this is why their languages are incomplete and they are filling it up from Yoruba words. Yoruba must understand the need for us to start talking about culture appropriation as it’s frowned on all over the world.

Story!!
The man that y’all claim was a drug barron had no car or house at the time people used drug money to bring hundreds of luxury cars to Nigeria for sale, right!

A man like Tinubu would have remembered that and rewarded her if it was true. You just don’t forget something that big. So it has to be a lie.
