owobokiri: Similar programs in the past were all littered with bottlenecks for people from the South East. We read about the Jonathan's era scholarship program, which this very regime had to tear apart because they felt it favored folks from this area, even when it was obvious that merit was the yardstick.
Such realities have created a great deal of disenchantment and disconnect.. Folks feel that no matter how hard they try, the system will always be rigged against them. You might even loose money through all sorts of charges without any guarantee of accessing the funds. It's the end really. No single belief in the State left.. Well said, Nobody trusts the government. |

My Aunt was sick a certain time, she had a goiter on her head and was very lean.
When we got to the hospital, without running test, the nurses that came outside to carry her inside (she could not walk) automatically concluded that she had HIV.
My Aunt heard it and felt bad.
Life and patient’s emotions cost nothing here.
If we don’t start to sue irresponsible hospital staffs, this won’t stop. |
Politics › Re: Ghanaians Ask Nigerian Retailers To Leave Their Country by wpadmin: 4:21pm On May 08, 2021 |
mekaboy: Ha. How is magazine business improving Ghana Economy. I don route container to Ghana as far back as 2003.
Banking and finance, no be business people dey bank there? When did these Nigerian banks enter Ghana? Its not been up to 15 years.
I can say that 60% of containers that arrive ghana ports are igbos. I know when it was only about 3 igbos that brought container in opera markt. Before about 10 Ghanaians contributed to bring one. And later asked igbos to leave the market for them.
Even Ghanaians go to togo to buy goods from igbos that import there and sell in Ghana.
If Igbo's were not in togo, the road to aflao would be deserted.
When it comes to trade forget. I pity Ghanaians when i visit their markets. The shops have become too expensive for them to afford because of the igbos.
If igbos are to exit Ghana, those Nigerian banks will have to leave with them.
For how many years. ACCRA just had about 2 branches of Ghana commercial bank and stanchart.
Real estate. Go to EAST LEGON and count student hostels owned by igbos there.
I know ABC was the first road transport comapny from Nigeria to Ghana. Before GUO and the rest.
Now airpeace by air.
Its not about magazine. Omo. Igbo man no dey use eye see business. Proudly Igbo. |

As our own media outlets will be fined for doing their jobs. Let foreign media outlets do it.
Also, if you are a journalist, you can send your write ups to popular foreign media outlets to publish.
Only Sahara reporters can publish against the government without getting fined but their credibility died the day Sowore started gunning for presidency. |

Take time to travel to the places where all the previous presidents of this country came from.
After that, ask yourself the following:
1) Is their region any much better than yours?
2) Are their people living better than you?
If your answer is No to these questions, then join me to say "to hell with the presidency". To hell. |
