You maybe be right on the ownership or origin of DSTVand MTN. But don't forget this adage in a hurry which says, he who pays the piper calls the tunes. DSTV's largest customer is Nigeria, likewise MTN. Had we sensible leaders with enabling environment in place, do you know Nigeria could actually force both DSTV and MTN to move their headquarters to Nigeria, their largest customer or they pack their bag and baggage and leave? But with the kind of corrupt and inept leaders we have, it would never happen. On several occasions had the issue of DSTV tariff been discussed on the floor of the NA, people even protested, what happened afterwards? Once they silence them with bribe, they keep quiet.

We have lost our values as a country, guy. Nigeria had played great fatherly roles in Africa in the past, including the end to apartheid and ushering freedom in South Africa. We've fought several guerilla and miltia wars in many countries in Africa and kept peace. See us today, our military have comprised. Instead of killing the non state actors and ending the war, the reverse is now happening. See the way they now kill our soldiers and police like fowl. Blame our leaders for all these woes bedeviling us as a nation. This isn't the time to start defending anybody or government. They've all failed. Once Nigeria sneezes in Africa and some other counties are expected to catch cold. Thank God that, some individuals have decided to move on in contributing their all, towards the progress of this country and that of their families, that's why Nigeria's name is still being mentioned or heard abroad today

When I mean people the SE sends to Abuja, it involves NA members, Ministers, party stalwarts, etc. We have to jettison this attitude of the North is blocking this and that. Kill this idea of it-is-everybody-against-us.

It is politics, nobody gives you on a platter.... you fight for it. The Reps didn't say, don't push CPs to AIGs. The Reps don't determine who will be AIG and so. Lobby, that's what everyone does.
If you feel, as a Party man and all that, you can't benefit..then the region (irrespective of Party) should find alternatives.

Simple.

Did the North block the SS? Do you know how many SSners are AIGs? Does the SE give PDP more votes than the SS? No
Is Jonathan from the SE? NO

The SS has at least 3 AIGs, the SW same.... SE 0.

Ask yourself...what happens to the recruitment? How many SEners will finish Univ and head for the Nigerian Police. Ohanaeze and other groups should focus on enlightenment, not just in the Nigerian Police but even in other security agencies.

That the SE is marginalised is not in dispute, but don't give a gun to your enemy.
