On the contrary he can be admitted (to a B or B- grade school) as a lot of other factors are considered in an application funding however is a long shot hilaryxoxo: In other words, you’re 8th percentile in quant and 27th percentile in verbal. The truth is that no competitive school would give you admission with that score. Re-take the GRE! |

True this, you’ve made valid points 100kobo: I don't entirely agree. Father's company could serve as a good home tie since their line of business is in tandem with his intended course of study. A very good response to "What will this degree do for you/Why this Course/Why this MSC" would now yield an answer that suggest his intentions to transform and upgrade the company upon his return. It is not enough mentioning 'transformation'. He may need to go to specifics by listing some of those functionalities he would desire to change. He could then go on to highlight a little more on his career goals (without waiting to be prodded).
Thing is, people fail to exploit opportunities to their advantage. |

Why not just say you work at xxxxxx company instead of saying specifically that you work in your fathers company? It’s unnecessary and throws a little doubt Predstan: So I will be paying for another appointment tomorrow. I really need your advice. What do I need to do apart from being relaxed when I'm being interviewed. Is there any of my response that knocked me off or any of which I need to work on. Please I need some encouragement to ease my apprehension... Lol |

I think the transcript posted earlier today must have knocked the wind off her sails Admittedly it didnt inspire much confidence Because this is a student where everything checked out (or appeared to) I don’t think the manner which you respond is enough criteria to deny a student especially one with a good profile Superbrain: Calm down. Bolarita97: Good afternoon guys, Please I need help!!! I applied for admission at Houston Community College and i was granted the admission to study Nursing (Associates Degree) but when i was filling the Visa application form i wrote that i av a bsc in biochemistry, dint know it was going to affect me.i went for interview today and i was denied cos the consular asked me why am goin for a lower degree that why nt masters??and all sha.the question threw me off balance and i dint even have the confidence to ansa the other questions. Now i have reapplied but before going for the interview i need to know how to answer the question.please can sum1 help??thank you. To be honest you have a good profile (good undergraduate degree) but you should never have rebooked another interview immediately, you have a bsc already and you want to go for an associate degree, youre not exactly furthering your education that way are you? Unless of course you have a very good reason (which you have to figure out) since you already booked it However with good reasons, you might be able to convince the officer but it will be no mean feat If you’ve already booked for a second interview then I can make a suggestion, (I’m not assuring it would work, but you can try) pm me I believe knowing the right answers can give you a chance |

Best development Let genuine people have a fair chance Nigerians always have a penchant for finding the quickest/easiest route out not considering the implications of their actions or that what they might be doing is Infact illegal or how it negatively affects others It’s a welcome development, more of such should be introduced 100kobo: Wonderful development! |
