This is quite common nowadays. I have actually been a victim of this situation where 4 people (which includes me) made it to final stage in a firm. 3guys and a lady. She is well endowed as she was first called in by the HR guy of which the interview lasted for an hour. Our own no pass 5 mins and the next day we got a regret mail.

I called the babe, she said she was asked to resume with immediate effect

Very true @ wiring issues.. The sad part is they usually occur intermittently and can easily go unnoticed till you start to spend some time with the car.

Currently a toyota hiace 2009 model is giving us issue as regards this and after doing scan, the electrical engineer (rewire) told us the bus has been heavily flooded in the past, perhaps in overseas.

I culled this story from an hiring manager in LinkedIn which would inspire most especially the unemployed.


A Candidate didn't do well in the interview. I still HIRED her.

Here's why.

Generally at the end of an interview, the interviewer will ask the interviewee if he or she has any questions.

She asked these 3 questions to HR Manager. It was pitiful to see her struggling to answer them.

1. What are the company's growth plan and strategy for the next 5 years?

2. Why should I work for your organization?

3. What are the weaknesses of your company and how do you see this position contributing to strengthening those weaknesses?

The HR Manager wasn't impressed but as the hiring manager I had the final say. I ended up hiring her and she did rock the boat but she helped the team and me as a leader to grow.

Interviewing numerous candidates over the years has taught me:

*Sometimes the best employees don't make good first impressions.
*Acing an interview and performing on a job are two different things.
*Strong employees intimidate weak managers.

Many of you miss the economy of the crowd. Calculate the cost of ankara yardage used by each attendant. The women will have iro, buba and ipele in ankara fabric. The men will have sokoto, buba and agbada. Women will need about 8yards and 10 for men. Average it to 9yrds per attendant. Multiply just the number of people in view by 9 (there are many outside the view and we are not worried about them). The result is total number of yardage, just for those in view! Do you get this many people at a single Yoruba parties? Yes.
In Yorubaland, on a Saturday alone, how many parties are hosted? Over three hundred!

If you slaughter cows at just half of total events, for this many people, three pieces of meat served per person....fair estimate is 3cows multiplied by 150. 450cows are slaughtered per Saturday in Yorubaland. How much is a cow?
Multiply price of a cow by 450. This is how much, by fair estimate, Yorubas spend on cow per Saturday.

How many Saturdays in a year?

Now you can see the impact Yoruba has over the sustenance of life and income for cow merchants.

If Yoruba should stop slaughtering cow many Fulani cow rearers and herdsmen will be economically wrecked!

Half of the economy of Nigeria is made possible and kept buoyant by a simple cultural outing of Yoruba every Saturday. This does not factor in Friday owambe and Sunday owambe....just Saturday!

FYI, Golden Plaza doesn't belong to MTN, they are tenants there. MTN is such an irresponsible company that 16 years, 5 months and 7 days after it came into Nigeria, the headquarters is still in a rented Plaza.

Glo did it to their exorbitant call rate where mtn charge on per mins basis by cutting it to per seconds billing rate. Glo should tabilise their data network. I patiently read your story OP and a lot run through my mind when reading it.

As much as there is the other side of this story, I must say you need to be a man hence stop begging your girlfriend to apologise for her wrong doings.

Your manner of gentility is making you a soft spot for her to build unnecessary ego.

Take the bull by the horn by telling her to leave your apartment at the moment and act temporarily cold which may reset her stubborn brain. If this will resort to her leaving you, better! Don't rush into something you would rush out with huge regrets.

You need to be a bit ruthless, more stubborn and tough on her. Be a man boss!

I won't say anything about TSTV till next month by God's grace. So I would remain patient with them
