How can obasanjo be her father in law yet her father in law is now obasanjo's gardener? Did she think this thoroughly before saying it out? When lies upon lies keep building, it would backfire one day as the consequences will be devastating. |

banmee: You might wanna rethink the bold comment. If Nigerians were good people, your government would not be bad. Bad citizens=Bad government=bad country. This is a fact. Is this not the same country were it's citizens can execute suspects in the streets and nothing will happen? These are the things other countries see that make them to tag you as phucked up people. The explanation afterwards justify the same thing you are saying here. |

I am pleased to read hopeful words from some patriotic Nigerians.
I have friends in overseas that tells me about how some white friends of theirs view africa generally aside South Africa, Egypt, Morocco as a typical village without power supply, GSM services, hut mud houses and other basic amenities hence give more derogatory views about Nigeria except for those who have travelled to the country.
Nigerians are good people but the fact that we are plagued with bad government since independence has changed the mentality of the few good ones to compromised and manipulate their way to the top. |

When we are dealing with faceless people, even our names most times are not real too. Online and offline, this kind of situation happens just that it varies. Also, it's not synonymous to nairaland alone, it occurs on fb, instagram, twitter, etc. This is why it is very necessary to look before leaping. |

quiverfull: It was not until Glo launched per second billing for GSM calls that MTN agreed to it. DSTv will only agree to pay per view when they are forced by serious competition. I pray that day has come. South Africa companies are swiftly known to scam Nigerians of our hard earn money. Like u said if not for glo, we would still be on per mins billing. I just hope tstv would meet our expectation so we can quickly dump the xenophobic cable networks that have corporately stole our money for too long. |
