Good work but this is NAija were everyone wanna try. And the process to flash is none for novice. The project has been started. How about creating a flashable stock pre rooted zip through recovery. Thats gonna be easy.

Guide to installation of Ginger-bean:
Prelude: STOP! ANSWER YES TO ALL THESE QUESTIONS B4 YOU PROCEED FUTHER!!!!!!
ask yourself the following:
a. Have you backed up all your data to your SD or PC? if not, you must do so immediately especially your contacts (goto contacts menu, import/export, backup to SD)
b. Have you done a nandroid backup of your present rom? easiest way out of a Brick? if not, you must go to google play and download "online nandroid backup". when youve done so, run online nandroid backup, you will need an internet connection to update the nandroid scripts. select clockworkmod mode, then click "start backup" (note : have atlest 512MB on your SD card). the backup should take about 20 mins

d. seriously know what your doing ?

step 4- extract contents of tools_needed folder and install 7zip

step 5- use 7zip to extract the 10 split sys.yaffs2.img file (this can be done by copying them to the same folder the right clicking and selecting 7zip, extract archive)

step 6- boot your N3 into fast boot mode (this is done easily by removing the battery, and while holding volume-down button on plug in your usb cable, then wait till you see the TECNO logo displayed on the screen, wait for 5 second then release the volume-down button)

step 7 FLASHING THE TECNO:

At juncture you need to stop every other thing youve been doing while you wer doing this and concerntrate!!!

At this point i'm right to guess we've all installed our ADB drivers using the [i]Android universal ADB installer. if not go here to find out how to do so [url] https://www.nairaland.com/1261265/solution-boot-loop-bricked-techno#15537985[/url]
now, run Android AIO flasher.exe (found in tools needed folder)
next, in the AIO flasher window, the very first menu is what concerns us i.e. where its written fastboot flasher (Nandroid Restorer)(the others we shall explain in later tutorials)
click boot
click Select file(browse to where you saved the boot.img you downloaded above)
click erase
click flash

YOU MUST wait for the black window below to show "writing boot...OK" before you know its done

Congratulations your almost done!!

Simply repeat the same process for the sys.yaffs2.img file, only this time, we go:
click System
click Select file(browse to where you saved the sys.yaffs2.img you downloaded above)
click erase
click flash

once again
YOU MUST wait for the black window below to show "writing sys.yaffs2.img OK" before you know its done.
it should take about 50 seconds, depending on your system specs.

Lastly, unplug the usb cable,
now, while holding "volume-up" plug it back
keep holding volume up till you enter the Android 3e stock recovery menu.
using volume up and down to move
select "wipe cache", PRESS power button to select
when this is finished
select "wipe data/factory reset"

when this is done restart your phone
these last two steps are important..else you may have boot-loop

well..guess thats pretty much it. regarding the memory boost..i will post that momentarily.

ebiye55: Really sowi if am derailing ur thread, I've been trying to boot my TECNO T3 to recovery mode to no avail, can you help me plssss??!!

My nephew played with both my tab and the phone, I was able to unlock the tab with my google account, but the T3 refuses, I read online I could unlock the phone by 'wipe' in recovery mode.

True...as the lock is a user setting (i.e. user-data). to boot to the recovery menu on TECNO androids simply hold volume-up then power on the phone. if this fails as a result of the lock triggering a wipe safe security feature.

Method: How to Enter Recovery Mode with AIO flasher

This is another method how you can enter recovery mode on your phone. You can use this method when you do not know the direct key combination or don’t have root access to easily enter recovery mode using the app mentioned above.

Step 1 - Make sure ADB and Fastboot is configured on your PC. How? download from here http://adbdriver.com/ NOTE:This is important.

step 2- STOP! please do step 4 first!

Step 3 - Go to where your saved the downloaded android AIO fast-boot flasher (you can get AIO flasher here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=1264213&d=1345123273) directory and run or open or double click Android AIO flasher.exe. see image 1 NOTE: skip to step 5

Step 4 - hold the volume-down button and plug in your T3 USB with the battery. this should put your phone in fast boot mode. you will know its in fast boot when the Tecno hangs on the logo screen displaying. now, to to step 3

Step 5- plug in your phone USB cable

Step 6- run the universal ADB installer downloaded in step 1, make sure you phone is plugged and in fast boot mode(see step 4) when your doing this

Step 5 - run AIO flasher
Step 6 -In the AIO flasher interface window, look for "reboot menu"

step 7- under "reboot menu", click the "recovery mode" button and select "recovery mode"

step 8- next, click reboot

Hello guys. I.really need the backup stock rom for N7. A chap got his N7 bricked . And asked for me help.
Also, quick tip for N3.
If you got any issues with you OS while modding e.g. ur n3 not browsing, just use brainrex stock rom backup and ;Droot explorer. Copy and paste the extracted contents of system/bin and /xbin, from the stock back up to your n3 system/bin and /xbin. And viola! Issue fixed! Ive actually done this and it worked. Give thanks to mr brainrex for his back up. To creat your own back up simply use "online nandroid vackup

Man...take heart and dont give up...kinda frustrating when poot crashes and restartsur fone....this was my story till today when i did the following:
1. Go to settings, applications, development> enable usb debugging
2. Ensure poot is installed on the phone memory i.e by enabling refered application install location as "internal storage" this is set under applications menu
3. Ensure u uninstall the previous poot installation
4.lastly, u will need a registered glo line
and #500, that is #400 for glo credit
5. Place the glo sim in sim1 slot of ur n3 and set go to dual sim settings and change network type to WCDMA. this can be found under wireless and networks, mobile networks, dual sim settings.
6. Under the access point names settings, click on the "glo ng" and change the "glosecure" to "blackberry.net"
7. Now, text coweek to 777
8. Wait for the reply sms welcoming you to coweek.
9. Go to storage menu under settings and click "unmount sdcard"
Now ur good to root!
