Logically we all know that graduate trainee positions worldwide have age limit, I just hope that this lawyer is not hired on purpose by nnpc to jeopardize the whole process professionally. Come to think of it, most recruitments by nnpc are either cancelled or stalled, at the end of the day, the positions are given to those with strong connections behind the door. May the Almighty be on our side and give us the best of the best, amen

How can a casual staff that is 35 years old fit into a GT position meant for 28 year old applicant? NNPC know more than all of us here of their casual staff, before embarking on this recruitment process, if they need casual staff they would have not called for such process.

One very interesting fact about this recruitment is that we've come to a stage where no one knows what is happening or about to happen.

The issue of APL is now turning towards a mysterious direction as all our sources I notice are evading us or giving us unreliable information. I just hope and pray that they don't play big brother naija on us. I am already tired and have decided going forward not to contact any body again except God in prayers. May we succeed, amen.

Might be true or not!!! But this is the latest info we got!

From our source, APL notification might be sent out probably starting from next week as against what he told us initially i.e September, coz the approval has been done by the GMD. However, he enjoined us to remain prayerful as the GMD was under extreme pressure from very powerful people and that some names might have been changed. He assured us that they have done their best in the recruitment and made sure that majority of those that made it this far, did so on merit.

So the GMD is now using teleportation abi, a sauce was with him in Mecca and they even talked about cancellation of the whole recuitment process, meanwhile he was in Maiduguri during sallah.

The issue of contract staff has nothing to do with this recruitment, a simple example to prove this is when you look at the banking sector, most of the workers there are contract or support staff, that are recruited from different outsourcing companies, yet that doesn't prevent banks from recruiting their own staff whether GT or experienced staff and train them regardless of the fact that they know they have support staff on ground. However a contract or support staff can be converted based on merit. So the issue of contract staff protesting cannot in anyway hinder this recruitment process, only maybe factors like internal/external/political influence which we all know is very common.
