They sabotaged the efforts of reasonable and well meaning Nigerians, most especially the President-Elect Bola Ahmed Tinubu, who called out the hypocrisy of the CBN governor. They insulted and politicized it with the hope that it would turn the people against the government in favor of their candidates. Now that everything has turned south for them, they are calling people to stand against the evil CBN policy they supported after it’s crystal clear that their candidate’s imaginary mandate has been sucked up in their asses and washed down the drains. What a People, what a Union! |
Unigrad:Results are on the IREV portal. They are being transmitted in real-time. Check it out! |
Dentidon:It's because of our liberal attitude but all that would be corrected afterwards. |
Sanwo has won this election already. It's a landslide victory. |
Going by the results uploaded so far, this guy is a goner. He has been beaten black and blue hahaha. I love the way my people have spoken. They were relaxed during the presidential election, but not for this one. Yoruba l'agba! |
He should remove Weghorst and put Scott now. |
The team is annoying because it's 10 vs 11. Weghorst is a useless very player. He's not offering anything technically, just wasting the spot. |
Now, I'm finding this man annoying. As a Nigerian in the diaspora, I have helped and established many Nigerians, both in cash and kind, and I never used it to chase clout. It's only in Nigeria that their supposed "savior" use just 75k to fame cheap popularity. Did he do this for all the graduates during his administration in Anambra? This is just eyeservice, nothing more. What a shame! I think it's a good thing that he didn't win the election - he would have been worse. What a pretender he is! |
Dynamicboss:I heard the votes keep swelling, it's now 60m ![]() |
obi58:I think it's Epe in Anambra ![]() |
I watched the interviews too and also painstakingly studied the manisfestos of all the major contestants. Honestly, Tinubu seems to be the most knowledgeable and preapared, and probably, the best of them all. One could see the difference between someone that has done it before and someone with just a wishful thinking. I never thought he could be so methodical and analytical in the dialogue session. I was really impressed, and I think majority of those that watched (or would watch) the interviews with unbiased minds irrespective of party affialiations, would say the same. It could also be argued that others didn't want to let out their ideas at this stage. However, it's just so funny that Tinubu is a member of the party that would come as the worst administration in the history of Nigeria, but then, he's just a party member, not part of the administration. Even at that, Tinubu would still be blamed for forcing the imbecilic government on Nigerians. How can a party has Tinubu as a member and still perfomed so woefully? How Buhari's administration couldn't tap from Tinubu's awesomeness is something that needs to be unraveled. People have come out to say Buhari's administration runs a parallel government - everyone does his things; no sync, no alignment, no ideology, and the case of the Naira Redesign confirmed those assumptions. Buhari administration is an eye sore, a total failure looking for a last gap opportunity to endear himself to the minds of Nigerian, but it's too late - Nigerians have seen beyond his caricature. Now, the country is at a critical time where decisions we make today would go a long way in determining the future and success of this great country. Irrespective of our geographical divide and party affialiations, the future and success of this great nation is a priority, no place like home! I hope you all make the right decisions by voting wisely! God bless Nigeria. |

Let her give her out. Your fam would benefit from it. Nigeria is burning already - hardship everywhere. Somebody must be sacrificed to safe the rest of the family from hardship ![]() |
Damn! Obi was roasted alive on Twitter lol. Seriously speaking the guy is super empty. How could he fumbled such a direct question ?? Well, he said is a mere trader; indirectly telling them to overlook his incoherent response. |
kettykin:You missed the point. He was asking the CBN to give incentives to payment platforms that would enable them operate zero transaction cost. I.e. CBN covers the cost, in return, the platforms allow customers to do transfers and other online transactions free-of-charge. It's very simple! Even if they would lose anything, it wouldn't be much, at least it would help resolve the problem. In fact, there's even a caveat there - "until the current crisis is fully resolved". Sentiment apart, this man is the most knowledgeable among all the candidates. |
Seems this fella is regretting some actions already ![]()

I think the policy wasn't properly thought about, or maybe it backfired. Unfortunately for them, they've succeeded in making Tinubu even more popular, and probably going to get sympathy votes, despite the maladministration of Buhari's government. Could this be a script orchestrated to cover the inadequacies of Buhari's administration? Well, anything is possible with our politicians, but surely, time will tell. |
I like this formation, nothing to be taken for granted again. This is our best shot at a trophy. We now have a reasonable manager in charge. Score 2 goals guys , then we can rest players for other games later. |
adler777:You're right - I hope he's able to present his case convincingly. |
adler777:I agree with you. I'm pretty sure they would have written to WAEC for confirmation. Even at that, it's still a lame excuse. Why didn't he get it corrected several years ago? Assuming he's not learnerd, but he has lawyers and professional associates that could have pointed it out to him. Instead, he didn't care thinking it was business as usual. He has lost the case already, there's no way back in. |
Shalommy:How? There was no Osun State then, it was created in 1991, but he sat for WAEC in 1981. What's the correlation, please? It's very funny. |
This is kind of a lame excuse. Osun State was never a part of Oyo State then, it was simply not in existence. There was nothing like Osun State. Osun State was created from Oyo State in 1991 but you sat for WAEC in 1981. How would you have a certificate of a state that was never in existence? Is it that the school had a vision that a state that would be called Osun would be formed 10 years later? What's really happening in that country? How did it get this low ![]() ![]() |
Workch:If so, then whose fault? This is laughable really. Huncle, this is not tenable in a court of law. It would further shrink their chances of getting anything out the case, if there would ever be. Political parties need to learn from this - make sure things are done in accordance with the law. C'est fini! |
Faiththatworks:There was no cancelation of polling units. They only deducted over voting from both sides, and they arrived at the new numbers - 314,921 votes and 290,266 votes for APC and PDP respectively. Before now, the Returning Officer had announced that Adeleke pooled 403,371 votes and Oyetola pooled 375,027 votes. |
Asgard13:I don't think you've been following the proceedings. PDP lawyers and INEC both agreed there was over voting. Are you saying it was Tinubu that sponsored PDP and INEC to allow over voting in Adeleke's strongholds? Adeleke's counsel obviously knew what was coming, the main reason they objected the use of BVAS report in the court. |
Tinubu saw this coming when he raised concerns about the readiness of INEC for the general election. He specifically raised some doubts about the BVAS, that there's still a lot to do to prevent over-voting. Tinubu is a genius. I doff my hat for this political god! |
Borgamaame:Gotcha! Thanks for the information. |
Borgamaame:How many hours drive? Going on the same trip from the Midwestern region. |
Damn! Things are happening. Sometimes life can be like a burnt pot of beans. |
