Anybody noticed this, MTN started it and I just noticed it this evening from Airtel. Mi max 2 close to 2 years now. I have thoroughly enjoyed it, I am itching for a new phone now but it's hard to justify because this one is so good

D m112 engine is a 90° v6 it is very wide the major problem with the older w201 and w124 chassis is that the steering box get in the way of exhaust manifolds of v engines. For the w201 you should probably try the inline 6 m104 it's just as powerful as the m112 and easier 2 package in the w201 chassis another option is the m111 compressor which is very close in power to the six cylinders

How about the Toyota 1Fz-Fe? Awesome engine too. I haven't seen it in a non-4wd vehicle though.

fuel consumption and weight then non 4wd gearbox availability perhaps

If only you can get it to work with the M112 or M113, it would ve been a better project and I think the engine n gear of the m112/M113 should be cheaper than the M104 u plan to use

. Will the exhaust manifold clear the steering box ? These are 90° V wide engines. The m117 is little bit narrower and the manifold has been designed to clear the box and other things. As mentioned b4 an alternative to the m104 (which is a nice choice ) is the lexus 1uzfe the early models, bullet prove, relatively easy to wire, provided the exhaust manifold clears the body or custom ones can be made

it's a toss between the two actually the m104 is easier to retrofit. It can be used with a hydraulic 722.3 simplifying the wiring to just the engine. The m112 will be challenging to make function properly with its can bus and other modern car system absent in the old w126

How to start? Well I did the most logical thing and sold my dependable honda for a Benz 10 years older..C124 1989 coupe..the drive was pleasantly different..power was up a lil....my honda was manual, no slouch when kept in the VTECH rev range. The problem started 2 weeks later I knew I was going to have some troubles but boy was I unprepared for the headache called Bosch continuous injection system...

I learnt fast the in and out then came to the realization that it was a loosing battle, parts were scarce and often in bad state.

Option 1 junk the motor buy a c class m111 4 cylinder engine
And convert.

Option 2 convert the m103 6 cylinder to EFI

I chose option 2 because it's harder....really its because I already have one( lowest budget possible), and the need to experiment ....and I love the howl of the 6 when revved hard!!!!

After so much research, head scratching, parts scrouging

Actually you said bambalasta S class(coupe) thats is why i said maybe the w140 coupe because that has relatively similar lines to the w124 and it is a S class

Remove a160, the spacewagon if its GDI version our mechanics seem puzzled by direct injection tech avoid if not then its OK.don't know much about the nissans but if it use's CVT autotranmission I would avoid too

Kazeem is also human, he is working within the bounds of his knowledge and experience..why not educate him. How many machine shops in Nigeria can properly skim an overheated head to proper tolerance hence the makeshift solution. people who add aftermarket turbos to there stock engnes often do something similar so while it will reduce the compression( lower performance) i doubt it will destroy the engine
