seunmsg:This is Nigeria. If there is a political will and full presidential backing, a senator can be successfully recalled. The recalled member can seek legal redress but the outcome is not guaranteed to be in their favor. |
I pity Yahya Bello with his EFCC case. He was given a simple task, to get Natasha recalled in exchange for freedom from EFCC. Now that he has failed. He is going to prison. |
Ernchibyke:The board displayed by Trump like everything about him is fake. The fact that you posted it means you are not familiar with tariff. Trumps Tariff is based on trade deficits with other countries and he then choses the highest tariff figures to derive his own. Those who export less than they import from US were heavily taxed while those who import a lot from US were slammed with 10% flat rates. Take the EU for example, there is a heavy tariff on agriculture import and then lower tariff like 10% on cars and textiles. Every other goods range from 0-5%. That is how most countries operate. If Trump was retaliating, he would have chosen some particular industries of the "offenders" and then apply high tariff on them. From your image, China imposes 67% tariff on US goods but this is a blatant lie. |
richard870:Nothing to digest. You made a blanket claim and you can't even provide one example to back yourself. I am not surprised, you are probably one of the victims of fake outrage media. FYI, tariffs aren't secret but they count on you never asking questions and they are right. |
Thundafireseun:I agree. But I hope you know the meaning of blackmail and where it applies? |
Tinubu, known for his strong influence in Lagos politics, was said to have taken a firm stance on the matter, in a clear support of Obasa leading to friction with the former governor. Sanwo-Olu’s aides confirmed that at least in one instance the President fumed in a phone chat with Sanwo-Olu during the Obasa, State Assembly Crisis that Sanwo-Olu would have to resign.Useless paid article from Obasa. He couldn't even pay people with brains for the hatchet job. |
crystalpapers:List the products and the actual tariffs. |
RaySimran:Again, you display your economic ignorance. Nigeria's contribution to the world is significant. Remove us from the scene and Americans will start crying about gas price. |
Quarterpast:Yeah. The article was designed for emotional babies. They don't want the readers thinking. |
richard870:List the others that impose "ridiculous" tariffs on all American imports. We are waiting. |
RaySimran:There is no best response. Each country responded based on how hard it hit them and how much power they have to retaliate. Nigeria didn't even respond at all because they tariff will minimal effect on us. |
Emeskhalifa:All this Trump worshippers. How does this makes his country great? |
Ernchibyke:Why are you afraid of naming the country that did such? When you see posts online always ask for evidence before helping to spread misinformation. |
Long ban loading. |
dominique:If She has never seen 1 million in her life like OP claims, then she is clueless business wise. Regardless of location, not every business must start with a multi-million Naira capital. |
seunmsg:The public is right to question the use of public funds. When Tinubu started the Eko Atlantic City and Lagos-Calabar coastal highway, Peter Obi and his supporters made it a daily routine to speak evil of the project. Now, same folks are here to praise Egypt for spending $58billion on a new capital city.Don't mix the issue, there is little connection between Eko Atlantic and Coastal highway. One is private driven while the other relies on public funds. I have not seen anybody criticize Eko Atlantic. |
RichBoy247:Does this extend to those who say bad things beforre 2015? |
The release of the others is among the recommendations of a national conference held in February, along with extending the rule of General Abdourahamane Tiani by five years. That's always the game. After five years, hold another sham conference or referendum to extend by 10 years. |
The deceased who shared three kids with Samuel separated from him but later got back with him in the first week of March and everyone thought they were in good and perfect termsThe pattern is quite common. Run away due to violence and then return because of "love" or money. |
ECOWAS will soon start begging them instead of having a spine for once. ECOWAS will probably relax all restrictions on imports from these landlocked countries to gain their useless goodwill. Not even the US commands such fear among its neighbors. What a shame. |
Why is this man hyperventilating ever since his outbursts? Is he looking for attention or just suffering from guilt? He even listed the things he has done for women as if anyone asked him. |
Yankee101:When was Africa a single map political entity? |
Sangoamadioha1:Those dane guns can kill, maim and be used for kidnapping. Wake me up when you find an armed Edo "hunter" in Kano. |
P1PrinceKT:Nobody is ever ready! Because it doesn't make sense to give up power for uncertainty. But should the circumstance force it, the result will be loud and the so-called leaders won't be able to do anything. Just check country's history, almost all divisions are triggered by spontaneous political instability, it is rarely planned or as a result of people being ready. So, the NEF better shut up and crawl back into their hole for their own good. |
“Failure to do so will compel the North to take all necessary actions to seek justice for her people and the North,” it added.See this idiots issuing threats. They don't realize that the times have changed. If they push too far, they may end up with what they fear the most. |
NetbizBoss:You should be the one to show the ones those that didn't work. The sensational headline was designed for the lazy readers. The project were built. The fact that the price went up and it is not constant is not the same as failure. |
Famous606:All these Trump worshippers. Why will Trump pull out of profitable banks? |
Beremx:Serious students still visit the library either for books hardcopy or soft copy access. The internet is not a replacement for specialized knowledge as many publications are still not digitized. Moreover, your eyes can easily be damaged by screen light if exposed for extended period, unlike books. |
P1PrinceKT:Isn't it funny from someone who believe they have a right to kill enmasse without consequence. About 10 innocent mourners, not armed, just in their village, were killed by the usual suspects in Plateau on the same day, yet you hypocrites were nowhere to be found. Why will you ask such question? .It is a very valid question. Why are armed hunters traveling inter-states to hunt in a region with fewer wildlife? If you can as well answer what is your people doing across the length and breadth of the North? Were they moving about with arms? If yes, they should all be arrested. My respect for some southerners has reduced to minimal because when I read some comments they sound like from someone that just know how to write in English with out actually going to school(which is common there).Your respect counts for nothing. It is better to be alive than be "respected" don't you think? Before you deflect to jungle justice argument. I am totally against jungle justice even if the suspect was caught in the act. They should have been handed over to the police. However, your guilt-tripping via deceptive outrage is dead on arrival. |
Triton1996:This writer is likely too young to discuss the issue. Enron turns out to be a fraud which end up destroying thousands of lives. We should be thanking OBJ for saving Lagos from economic disaster. Unless the original intention was to defraud Lagos state governance in connivance with Enron, this shameful history should be kept hush hush. |
You want to take us back to the dark era of minority oppression? There are six and not three regions. |
Owaincouncil:Guilty conscience? |
...abeg, check Canada and China tariffs.....please take your time to research instead of digesting partisan reportage of the left-wing media
